This place serves the worst coffee. People are very nice and friendly and all that. But the coffee is awful. Best stay away. In fact forget about coffee while in Takayama.

Absolutely love it here. Delicious coffee, the cinnamon toast with cream is heavenly! Nice atmosphere but be warned, there is a large smoking section. おいしい！

Lovely place for drinking coffee and eating a cheese cake in Takayama, Japan.

Not impressed. The BLT had cheese in, not mentioned on the menu, we asked for a new top half of the bagel they tried to charge us another 200 yen when we came to pay. It took a lot of persuasion for them to agree we didn't have to pay the extra. The coffee was pretty bad too. Avoid.

Nice place for coffee & breakfast

I am not the highest of coffee snobs but I know my stuff. The black coffee here is very good. Hint of raisin, and a Smokey feel to it. If you like jazz, coffee, Murakami vibes, can’t miss this.

Located on the east exit, turn right after coming down from the escalators. Good experience. Coffee late was great, juices ok, beef buns delicious, sandwich ok. The whole family liked the place, also has got some space to hide your luggage while your eating, power for your smartphones and good WiFi. What else?

Super stylish French-style cafe. Excellent coffee and bread products. Highly recommended if you're in the area and need a hit of caffeine and/or energy.

Great coffee, great food and fantastic music! A really old feel to the place, nice and quiet with a fantastic soundtrack of miles Davis and other great jazz artists.

Very quaint. Serves coffee! Takes cash but the very kind owner still served us and let us come back with cash later.
