Had the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe with Hida milk. Good coffee and the hot chocolate was creamy without being too sweet.

Newly opened coffee shop a little different with normal and usual coffee shops. A foreigner friendly coffee shop where baristas are able to speak English and guide tourist and help them to get familiar with tourist areas they are planning to go as well as offering them their hospitality they serve delicious coffee. Free WiFi is available. There are outlets for those who want to charge their devices or use their pc.

Beautiful cafe. Very cosy for a minimalist style. Didn’t want to leave to be honest so I had a second cup. The hot chocolates looked lovely but the cups were probably too small. Food menu was simple and well prepared.

Delicious coffee stop with excellent service! The staff is kind and helpful. We had coffee and cheesecake - both tasty! They give you a yummy little cookie with your coffee. There are several little guides about places the eat and things to do around the shop. The baristas are also willing to offer suggestions.

If you find an unique coffee shop in Takayama, you should stop by here. The decoration was modern style. The owners were kind and friendly, they also speak English very well. They gave us some tips for traveling in Takayama, really impressive! I ordered hot chocolate, it was very good. My husband ordered cafe au lait (Columbia blended) served with a biscuit, this was excellent. Will visit this place again when I’m in Takayama.

Very inviting cafe that is along the Main Street between the Takayama train station and the old street. It is contemporary and brightly lit, very stark contrast to the old shophouses that it is situated with. The coffee is good, they have imported beans from most parts of the world, so there should be some thing for every coffee connoisseur. The cafe is small, with a long bar that oversees the barista at work. Enjoy your sip while u work through your laptop or the camera. The barista that serves me is very friendly. There wasn't much customers so she is able to afford to spend a bit of time with me to introduce the town and the place in general. My itinerary was very much amended after she shared with me. Behind the table is a white wall that the cafe welcomes any customers to doodle on it. I too, left my "XXX is here" marks on the wall.

A must-visit early during a stay in Takayama. Friendly staff have lots of recommendations for where to eat and visit around town (including a helpful map of stalls at the morning market!). The coffee is brilliant too. We had an americano and a cappuccino, and they came with delicious Japanese biscuits!

Nice espresso and sweets. Atmosphere and ambience is a little sterile feeling.

Really nice coffee with a modern feel. The taste was strong and was made well. Several good options to choose from, but didn’t have time to try one. Bar seating but some standing space behind too. Normal prices. And I wouldn’t say the staff is standoffish, more just not talkative. Which may be the vibe they’re going for. Regardless, try the coffee.

Very good coffee and a nice atmosphere. The treats are light and nothing too big, however a nice pairing with coffee. The service is very good too. I love the wall that you can draw on as well as the travellers book. Adds a lot of charm.

The coffee here was amazing! It is great location if you need to catch a bus at the station because it opens early. There aren’t many good options (a couple of desserts) but they offer a traditional German cake that was delicious!
