    Lovely coffee shop next to the river. If you are lucky enough you can get one table next to the window and enjoy the view. Coffee is good and pastries are correct. I had a scone, which was a bit too dry though. Nice place for a break while visiting Takayama. However the coffee is a bit expensive, about ¥500.

    Had a tasty press coffee (Columbia Buenavista) and a delicious waffle. This place has a lovely view over the Miyagawa river, and is a very nice place to rest for a bit after visiting Takayama.

    Really a lovely little cafe. An oasis with a nice river view tucked away in the old town, with a bright clean modern interior, good coffee and nice desserts.

    Really nice, modern coffee shop right in heart of town with good views of the river and great coffee and cakes and lovely English speaking staff. Just the place if you're hit by a longing for a good coffee while travelling.

    The river view is very nice. Cappuccino is great and I took a strawbery cheesecake with. A good place for relaxing with good music.

    They menu is small, they only have one or two hot plates. Still cakes, drinks and mood are good here.

    Great coffee and atmosphere. I got the tomato and ham cheese sandwich, which was also very good. The music is great for reading, writing, or just hanging out as well.

    Had the best pumpkin cheese cake and apple pie in my life here. The space is absolutely beautiful — try to sit at the back window facing the river.

    I loved this little cafe. Sat by the window and looked out over the river. Just a quiet little spot. Had amazing apple pie. The waitress was quiet and sweet.
