    Prices of yakitori are cheap and reasonable. Tasty chicken thigh and chicken ball skewers at 120¥ each, draft beers at 450¥ per mug. Able to smoke indoors which is a plus. All locals over here. But there's a cover charge dish for 380 ¥ per pax which is a miso mackerel which I don't really enjoy.. The other food that we ordered are great. They have an English menu so it's easy to order. However they do charge tax for the food which alot of other places don't. Our meal for 2 came up to a total of 5250¥

    The food here is just amazing! If you like fried fish bones please order the Hone Senbei on the menu you’ll not be disappointed.

    4.3/5 Pretty casual and authentic experience for izakaya. There r 2 levels. Level 1 mostly counter seats. I may be wrong. Seems like tourists will be served for compulsory appetiser at ~480Yen. Ours was okay, tuna with fresh grated yam. We enjoyed the tofu, sashimi.

    Nice local pub, lots of old stuff on the walls. Very lively and good food. Although counter a bit smokey from the yakitori.

    Food here was amazing. We stayed 4 days in Takayama and came here on out first and last day. It had amazing food and the staff was helpful and friendly. The hida beef on magnolia leaf was really tasty and different than your usual beef. The fried mochi on soup melted in our mouth and the braised tofu uses a type of tofu only found in this region, which was also quite good.

    We had dinner there. These days we had problems finding a place with ambient but passing by, we could hear voices so we stopped and decided to get some food there. Waiters and food amazing, hida meat and pork sticks are delicious but you should try the steamed tomate with cheese and basil, light and tasteful. 5/5

👍 I've lived in takayama going on 4 years now and I've yet to find a better place for drinking on a Friday or Saturday night than here. While it's a little further from the station than many easier to find areas you'll find the atmosphere, people and range of small and easy to enter stores unbeatable....

😠 Anyway, the attitude of the clerk is too terrible. I don't think the customer is a customer. As for the food, Hida beef was thin like shabu-shabu, miso was salty, sashimi was fresh, and pickled steak was delicious. But I left the store early. There is no lipi.
