You are obligated to have a drink (~350 yen). Food is good, almost everything is 330 yen, but some portions are very small (e.g. grilled mushrooms, fried tofu), while others are OK (e.g. fried cheese and fried shrimp). Part of the staff is nice, but some are very rude. They didn't let us to sit in the traditional Japanese tables, they made us to sit in the bar. No explanations why. They don't speak English, but they do have English menu.

I had a great diner with grilled chicken, hida beef with radish, radish salad, local grilled chicken and rice and miso soup at end. Ah, two local sake glasses. Total for all was more than 2000 ¥, really cheap compared with the dinner at Nagoya-Shi. Highly recommended

Very reasonable price for tasty Japanese grilled on skewers. Chicken and beef is a must try.

Food was delicious! We had 4 children with us and they were very welcoming. Menu in English and all dishes around 350yen so lots of opportunity to try different specialties.

Great food and really fell priced in comparison to other places in the area. It’s more of a sharing plates concept where you can try a variety of grilled and fried foods:) we ordered 6 plates in total-couple side dishes, stew,bbq and some skewers and left very happy :)

100% recommend!! Went here two times during our stay in takayama, and absolutely love every single dish we ordered.
