Might be the best mid-range hotel in the prefecture. Full of nice little surprises, including freshly made French toast at buffet breakfast, half in/half out onsen section, and a proper elevator that doesn't suddenly close while someone is between the doors (surprisingly common in Japan)! There's also nice views from the hotel plus free parking. If that wasn't enough, there is even an hourly running free shuttle bus to and from Takayama station until about 7pm.

Great hotel with great breakfast and nice, clean room. The place is located at a secluded area, which makes it a nice and quiet stay. Room is very clean with great bathroom amenities. The hotel also has a public bath, which is really nice. There're 2 baths, full indoor, and semi indoor (there's a sliding door you can open so you can see outside and let the nice cool air flow in). Overall, great hotel.

Worst hotel ever. Not recommend!! The receptionist was so rude & if you foreigners the attitude will be different to you. (Even the lady at receptionist did not say thank you/arigatou) The breakfast is not good as the picture, quietly different. Its open from 6.30 until 9.00 And if you entering the restaurant at 8 am, just only a few food that u can eat. And, so farr to anywhere. Its better to book another hotel if you want to stay in takayama !!

Very nice rooms, very clean hotel in a forest setting. Hot springs spa features an open air pool with forest views. The dinner buffet was beyond excellent and featured giant grilled prawns and rare roast beef, among many other dishes. The breakfast offerings were phenomenal as well.

Its a small hotel located with a distance from the city. It's a good choice for those who want a quite environment. Buffet breakfast is good. Free hot spring pool until 2am. The only problem is the last shuttle back to hotel depart 19:30. Then u need to take a taxi around 1,400 yen.

The location is quite far from popular tourist attraction. The dinner & breakfast served here is delicious, beyond our expectation. The room is quite small, especially the toilet, but it's still comfortable to relax at the hot spring.

The room was big with four beds and still plenty space for extra mattress on the floor. Clean and spacious, plus it was not expensive. We got a 5 ppl room for 20300 yen. It even comes with free breakfast. However it's not accessible by public transport.

staying here with my family overnight as in last year. i think this hotel is as good as a hotel near here called A.... the purpose of my stay is to ski around Takayama and Hida for two days. you can eat out around this hotel by car. it's in 5 minutes driving. hot spring is provided to both men and women on the 1st floor. it is great to take a spacious bath outside. totally,,, i will come back next year again!

Nice staff, good location, onsen is OK. For the price it’s difficult to do any better. I’ll come again.

Great service, and a nice view from some rooms. I would stay here again. Just a couple minutes drive from the busy "main drag" but it makes you feel like you have stepped away from it, so you can relax. A nice complimentary buffet breakfast. A very nice spread with a wide variety of western and Japanese breakfast items. We entered at 8:30, we're able to get up and restock from the buffet, and we were able let us stay past 9am to finish up. No, they did not throw us out, nor tell us we couldn't go back for more food. I was also able to get by fine with English and a little broken Japanese. I don't know what that other guy (who was complaining) was talking about. I have no complaints about the service at all. It was really top notch. If you are driving up, or don't mind using a taxi, I would recommend this hotel. If you want to stay on foot, you had better stay somewhere nearer to the station. But with a car? Stay here. Far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but only 5 to 10-minute drive for all the attractions.
