Late check in, cozy room, decent breakfast. The only negative thing I can say is that the room was very cold and the heater could not keep up. Location is also good, within walking distance of all the sights in Takayama, including the train station.

Worst hotel id ever been in before. Small room. It have WiFi, but you have to call first to a japanese number to get the password. You can listen everything from the other rooms. Staff cant speak english. My english its not the best, but they cant speak nothing. The sun comes into the room at 5:30 and there is no way to have some darkness.... its not a good experience.

Old but clean. Not far from the JR Takayama station, can walk from there. Light buffet to serve you.
