The facilities were nice, the onsen was very good and not crowded at all at my time of visit. Traditional dinner was served at the room - unique tastes and textures for the average non Japanese tourist, highly recommended to try. Coffee isn't served in this place so it is recommended to buy some close by. To sum up, great place to go, a little on the expensive side but it was worth it in my opinion.

Since it's located in the Hirayu Onsen hills, it might be hard to get in our out of the area by public transportation; please be mindful of the instructions given in their hotel listing. Rooms are old Ryokan style, with a tea terrace, a view of the mountains and complimentary yukata are provided. The staff was especially friendly, and I'd like to give a shoutout to the young lady who took time to explain everything about the room to us in English.
