This place is wonderful. I ate here several times and the food was excellent. Highlights included a wonderful omelet with greens, delicious beef tartare, and absolutely amazing cheese fries with mentaiko. The owner, Hiroshi, was extremely kind and attentive, and made me feel very comfortable. And the ambiance was warm and friendly and down to earth. The other great thing about this place is that it is open super late. There is no English menu, but I realized (belatedly) that the Google Translate app actually does a pretty good job of translating the menu using the Camera function. Mainly I just asked Hiroshi what he recommended and I was not disappointed. Do yourself a favor and try this place if you are nearby.

Such a nice izakaya! No English menu available, so you'll have to brush off your Japanese. The owners are very nice and very welcoming. The food is excellent! I absolutely recommend this cute family owned izakaya for a visit. I'd you're lucky, you'll get to meet their cute dog, too!
