It's a tap house which has the main range of hida beer. They also have a few nibbles and specialitys of hida beef on a stick. Place shuts early (at 5pm) on monday to Thursday and then is open till 9 on the remaining. It's not too cheap with half pints at 700 yen and pints at 1200 yen. The atmosphere of the place is great and the smell of hinoki is very refreshing. Worth a try

The beer is nice and interesting design of the bar. A bit pricey but more than once there was a lady and was quite rude. Especially towards foreigners. It is a shame when you have a nice place but people have no clue towards customer service. Happened more than once so I don't go or recommend this place.

We came here on a Tuesday night. Beer was very tasty. I had the Red Bock and it was very good. The Hida beef with rice was probably one of my favorite dishes ever. The beef was so tender and juicy. We also got some pork and beef skewers that were also delicious. Highly recommend going here.

Great beer selection and the food is delicious. We were looking for a place to eat but everything was closed. This nice spot was open and we sat down for a beer and to process our next steps but with food available and beer no need to go anywhere else and the kids just had fries and small snacks. Highly Recommend this place for a beer and a small. Then move to a dinner of your choice.
