A very fun way to taste Japanese wine through gacha-gacha! Just ¥100 for each sake of your choice. 🍶😋

Excellent sake. Probably the best in Takayama. Good to try a few - ask the sake counter staff for their favourites: I did and bought a sake I never would have tried otherwise! Yuzu sake liquor is dangerously good but then again Yuzu is a personal favourite of mine!!! Would go again and again and again :)

It's truly a satisfying experience here. You can try a wide selection of Japanese sake at a reasonable cost. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy a delightful Japanese sake journey.

Famous for their sake tasting experience. They have English descriptions for each sake, which is really convenient for tourists. However this place is really crowded and packed with tourists so it’s not the best experience

We really enjoyed coming here to try the sake. The experience is informative, enjoyable, straightforward, affordable and English friendly. Each sake available for tasting has an English description and we ended up trying 10 different ones between us. They also have a water jug so you can take a sip after every tasting, and stay hydrated! It’s all completely up to you how many you try based on the number of tokens you buy (1 token = 100 yen = 1 taste) and you can do it at your own pace. It’s a lovely experience if you like trying sake!

This should be your second stop if your on a Sake journey. Their video arcade like tasting system is efficient, fair & still $1 per tasting isn't much. They provide a lot of information written on the machines as well.

Very nice Japanese meal. Good variety of pickled goodies and other vegetables. Cooked on the small table top BBQ.

Really enjoyed this way of testing sake. My fev is the premium sake (you will get 1/2 drink), my aunty likes Yuzu. Anyway, Im from Thailand and met a new HK friend here in this shop, but i forgot to ask for his contact. he has lisense of sake. Hope to see you again :)

The sake tasting was wonderful, the yuzushu was a favourite! At the restaurant across the courtyard you can enjoy Funasaka's sake in combination with delicious Hida beef (either as yakiniku or sukiyaki).

Worth a visit. Large shop with various products not only Sake. They have Sake dispenser corner where you can try many kinds of Japanese Sake. Inside there is a courtyard connecting to the hidagyu shop ‘Aji-no-Yohei’.

The shop was full of people! We had gotten the 100yen sake cup but was disappointed that they only gave out the plain ones. There were more than 10 types of sake you could try. Its a very interesting experience!

Nice experience! The different sake are nice but once you taste the two premium sake you can't go back!

Great experience and a good and cheaper way of trying different Sakes. Would totally recommend. Little bonus is you get to keep your Sake cup

A nice place to shop for local foods and crafts and of course sake, you can have a sake tasting for free but it's better if you at least buy a cup of sake which is so cheap anyway, 200yen

We were here to purchase locally brewed sake. We could taste 2 different sake for free. We kind of like one of the sake we tried but we decided to go to another brewery before making our purchase.

Great spot to try sake. You can taste up to 2 different types of sake for free (in small sample cups) and buy a cup (box) of sake in the pleasant indoor patio. You can also find a lot of local products and souvenirs in the shop.

Sake here is very cheap. Like, REAL CHEAP compared to other brewery. But the alcohol is not that high. You like fruity sake taste? Go here. Their specialty is Yuzu (japanese orange), Plum, and Grape sake.

Perfect place for a warm bottle of sake in winter and cold sake in summer. Free rafting samples are also a big draw. One of the best places to warm up and rest in traditional settings.

This brewery offered a wide range of liquors, including sake of different instillation methods and strengths. There’re also two small glasses of free wine tasting for each individual which wishes to try out their wine samples. Very spacious area for wine display and there’re ample descriptions for recommended items.
