I am not sure if all Takayama ramen tastes like this, if so bummer. I liked the thin stlye of the noodles, but the broth despite being a deep color had almost no flavor.

A nice little ramen joint in Takayama. They're using Chinese noodles (which are a bit thinner) for the ramen. I had a pork bowl as this was the only one with eggs in it. Quite tasty, good broth. The prices are reasonable. You can also order some gyu-don and one dish is without pork, instead they use halal chicken

Fantastic ramen, highly recommend to all. Broth had an incredible depth of flavour, tasty pork and noodles with extremely quick service and very reasonable prices. A must visit in Takayama!

the staff was very nice there are enough seats and they provide different local Ramen dishes I really like the picture with the roasted pork so I wanted it's in my Ramen and I also ordered the roasted pork donburi. the second one I can really recommend, but the first slices of pork in my Ramen I think they wear a little bit burned so my whole Ramen tasted a bit Smoky which I didn't like. they provide an English menu

Came across this little ramen ramen place when I came back from Shirakawago. The shashu pork is softly grilled, it melts in the mouth. The broth is amazing and great to have in a cold weather. A must!
