A large mountain hut with amazing views. Besides dormitory style bunk bed accommodation they also have a few individual rooms that can be shared by 4 to 6 person. Meals are at par with other mountain huts with free refills or rice and soup. Staff are courteous and friendly.

This hut was a lot nicer and well-equipped than the Yarigadake Hut we stayed the night before. The room had a great view (no view at all at the Yarigadake Hut) and was twice the size. Their Vegetarian dinner was actually really good (the picture is the meat-version though). I also thought it was really clean there. Well done!!!

Packed breakfast was really good.

6人1部屋、私は楽しくお喋りするので楽しいです。苦手な人もいるはずだから星③です。夜はハンバーグ、朝は卵かけご飯が良し！ジャンダルムがすぐそこに待ってます。奥穂で安全祈願してピストンの方はお礼を。ベテランの写真家さんや、猛者たちとの会話は次の山行のモチベーションになります。のでアドバイスやお勧めの山行を教えて頂いてください。

Stayed here towards the end of September. Was quite cold so make sure you bring some gear to stay warm. It gets quite crowded on peak days, so try to time going on off days which you can see on their website. Great view of the sunrise and beautiful night sky. Food was delicious too.

Absolutely perfect! Perfect food, well equipped and even an internet (not very stable though). I would recommend to go during the week as it can get very busy over the weekend. If you need reception up there - Docomo is your choice. It has 3G up there!

It is the highest campsite in Hotaka mountain. ¥1,000 /night /person.

Definately one of the best mountain hut location wise.

10月19日に宿泊しました。 標高2,996mに位置する山荘ですが、施設設備とサービスは平地の宿泊施設と何ら変わりありません。 山荘に入って右側に穂高山荘の代名詞とも言える太陽のロビーがあります。 薪ストーブを囲む様に安全柵を兼ねた囲みテーブルがあり、周りにリラックスできる椅子とソファーがあります。 ロビーからは朝陽と夕陽が眺められる様に設計され、これ以上ない贅沢な時間が過ごせます。 宿泊ルームは2階です。 2階部分は標高に標準的に3m追加すると2,999mで寝る事になります。 あと1mたりません（笑） 宿泊ルームもしっかりと作ってあり、外気が入ってくる様な事はありませんでした。 宿泊時、コロナ対策で宿泊スペースは十分な間隔があり、よくある雑魚寝じゃなく快適な睡眠が取れました。 深夜の外気温は−9°まで下がりましたが、山荘内は10°程度だったと思います。 機密性の成せる保温力ですね。 料理はとても3,000mの高地で作ったとは思えないクオリティーで、とても美味しい！ ご飯とお味噌汁はおかわり自由です。 体力勝負の登山者には凄く嬉しいサービスです。 宿泊の精算はクレジットカードが使用出来、多額の現金を持って登山する現状を変えてくれる大改革だと嬉しく思います。

奥穂高登頂後に宿泊しました。図書などが置かれている休憩スペースは山小屋の良い雰囲気の中寛げ、洗面所やトイレも綺麗です。もちろん晴れていれば素晴らしい夕焼け＆朝焼けが楽しめます。 セルフサービスで消灯後や早朝も利用出来る喫茶コーナーはとても便利でした😄

After hiking for 18km (9 hours) from Kamikochi it feels total worth the effort to reach Hotakadake sanso hut. The staff is very welcoming and the dormitory style space is pretty spacious and the bedding and quilt provided is so neat and cozy. It was so cold when we reached the hut and the heater was kept at right temperature to fall asleep. There are 3 toilets for men and women and 3 sinks. There is a lot of lounge space to sit around and look at the sunset. Not to forget, free wifi at 2900m! Loved our stay and I only wish they provided vegetarian meal after a long tiring hike I forgot how hungry we were...
