We
arrived
here
having
left
La
Cocina
because
of
loud
music,
we
wanted
to
have
a
conversation
without
having
to
shout.
The
first
table
we
took
at
La
Pinta
was
too
close
to
the
loudspeakers
(again,
with
music
that
wasn't
bad,
but
which
was
intrusive),
but
the
barman
helpfully
suggested
a
table
by
the
entrance
door,
which
was
quieter.
However,
the
tables,
made
of
angle
iron,
were
very
high
and
not
comfortable,
the
edges
of
the
iron
table-legs
dug
into
my
legs
on
each
side,
I
had
to
sit
with
my
legs
around
the
corner
of
the
table
to
find
comfort.
The
chairs
were
similarly
uncomfortable
--
I'm
6'2"
(1.88m),
but
I
still
couldn't
reach
the
floor
with
my
feet.
And
unbelievably,
in
a
country
that's
a
major
exporter
of
wines
and
espumantes,
we
couldn't
order
an
espumante
brut
by
the
bottle,
but
only
by
the
glass,
so
I
had
a
beer
instead,
which
was
OK.
But
for
some
reason
(unfathomable
to
me),
the
beers
were
listed
by
ABV
but
without
prices.
I
usually
avoid
places
that
don't
list
their
prices,
which
in
this
case
were
actually
reasonable,
but
we
had
to
ask
the
waitress
to
discover
the
cost.
List
your
prices,
please!!
For
god's
sake,
make
available
a
few
bottles
of
espumante!!
The
food
and
service
were
good.
