Inaugurated
in
1983,
the
Concepción
History
Gallery
is
a
museum
in
which
multiple
milestones
in
the
city's
history
are
represented
in
a
permanent
display
of
sixteen
dioramas.
In
addition,
it
has
exhibitions
on
Mapuche
culture,
and
the
collections
"BioBío:
Culture
and
Society"
and
"Biobío
Regional
Ceramics".
To
this
we
must
add
its
new
Plaza
de
la
Historia
and
a
souvenir
shop,
in
addition
to
the
exquisite
Café
de
la
Historia.
In
1939,
Parque
Equador
became
Parque
Alameda,
but
the
devastating
earthquake
of
that
year
changed
its
name
to
the
current
recognition
of
the
assistance
provided
by
the
Republic
of
Ecuador
to
help
mitigate
the
negative
effects
caused
by
this
catastrophic
event
in
the
city.
of
Concepción.

In
1964,
it
was
created
at
the
International
Popular
Art
Fair,
a
craft
fair
launched
annually
and
installed
annually
on
Rua
Caupolicán,
with
Víctor
Lamas.
It
is
the
greatest
of
Chile
and
one
of
the
most
traditional
exhibitions
of
Concepción.
It
presents
works
from
different
Chilean
and
international
crafts,
including
works
in
ceramics,
glass,
wood
and
recycling,
among
others.
During
their
performance,
music
offices
were
also
developed
and
food
courts
were
installed.

At
the
beginning
of
2015,
after
several
months
of
restoration,
the
first
inclusive
park
in
the
region
was
opened,
with
access
and
games
enabled
for
people
with
different
abilities.
