Colony Suites was a lovely place! It was so convenient and everything we needed was at our disposal. It was very clean and comfortable. It just added more perfection to our beautiful wedding weekend! I highly recommend their suites! We will definitely be back!

You cannot go wrong staying at any of the properties with Susitna Suites or Colony Suites! Most recently we stayed at Colony Suites unit #1 and WOW!! This unit is the GEM of downtown Palmer. From sweeping views to a fabulous location to an unbelievably beautiful interior you are going to LOVE your stay! This unit has the qualities of a home designed by an interior decorator. Comfortable, CLEAN, well arranged, cozy and everything you need from a vitamix blender to washer and dryer. The master bedroom is gorgeous and the master bathroom is SPA quality! Jump at the chance to stay here. The hosts are incredible, so courteous and kind, we’re so grateful to have found their properties. 10/10 STARS

Highly recommend will definitely stay here again. Brand new, clean and comfortable. Set up to meet all needs even able to do a load of laundry. Staff very accommodating even worked to set up early arrival for us.

Brand new, spacious suites in a great location in downtown Palmer. Everything appeared new and was very clean. Check in instructions were detailed and it was very easy to communicate. They even helped us find valued items we left behind and return them to us by mail! We will definitely be staying here again when we come for sports or the State Fair!

This place is great! Stayed in unit #7…Basically a cute little fully furnished apartment. Owners respond quickly to any questions you might have. They even provide multiple contacts so that you are never left hanging! Able to rate in the following areas: Sleep: Great. Good comfortable bed, soft sheets and comfy pillows. Quiet room. Drapes able to block out light for good quality sleep. For you biometric tech nerds out there, my watch says that I slept 8 hours and 14 minutes of uninterrupted sleep with 94% sleep quality (amazing for me!)! If that isn’t pure bliss, I don’t know what is! Kitchen: Cute and modern. Has basics for cooking anything and a full size fridge. Keurig coffee, sweetener/sugar packets and little creamers in the fridge- they thought of everything! If you need fancy creamer, Fred Meyer and Carr’s are not far away. Living area: Comfy. Cute. Good size smart TV (you use your own streaming accounts, which is all I ever do, even at home) Desk: little area where you could opt to set up for remote work. Bathroom: modern shower, along with shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. Small, but for 2 people it’s perfectly fine. Temperature/environment: Nest smart thermostat. Perfect temperature while we were here. Didn’t even need to adjust it. Affordability: good value! We stayed here a little unexpectedly… we were able to book for same day room, reserved for 3 nights. Location: great location within walking distance to some breweries (Matanuska and Bleeding Heart) and restaurants. The grocery store is a few more blocks away, not completely out of walking distance for most- but within a couple of minutes drive. (Personally, I don’t know who walks to get their groceries- I always come out of the store with far more than I could ever carry- but to each his own!) 10/10, would recommend staying here!

We have been on a road trip from the lower 48 for the past 2 months staying at different hotels almost very night & this was BY FAR the best place we lucked in to. It was like staying in a brand new upscale apartment with all the amenities; even had its washer/dryer. Extremely comfortable! Owner was very friendly and the only way to make this place better would be to place it on top of a mountain for the view. Definitely recommend!!

Perfection in Palmer, Alaska. Not only are the property owners amazing, but the detail and perfection of the property was so enjoyable. Comforting deco, all of the conveniences for hunkering down to relax, to extremely convenient proximity to dining, shopping and incredible views. Absolutely wonderful. I cannot wait to return. The attention to detail was impressive and it beats a hotel any day! Thank you for your accommodations.

My family and I spent the night in suite 6, we really loved how modern, clean and spacious the suite was. Thank you for having an awesome establishment! We will definitely stay here again if we have to.

The rooms are very clean, offering a spacious and comfortable atmosphere. The beds, pillows, and bedding were surprisingly comfortable. The well-equipped kitchen and bathroom met all our needs. Ideal for families, the ample space accommodated us and our belongings, and my children enjoyed falling asleep on the living room pull-out couch while watching TV. The homely decor added a comforting touch. Exceptional communication from the owners, including an early room readiness notification, left a positive impression. Without a doubt, I would choose to stay again and have enthusiastically recommended it to friends and family.

My 2-week stay was SO nice. Comfortable bed, spacious living area, full kitchen, in-suite washer & dryer and beautiful views of the mountains. Very clean and modern decor. Marty was very easy to work with. I will definately come back to Colony Suites.

Let me just start by saying, WOW! Having 4 children (all boys!) I had been feeling very overwhelmed and just needed to have some “me” time, which I haven’t had in almost 4 years. My husband found Colony Suites, told me to go stay a night to reset, and have some time to myself. I was very hesitant at first, but, the second I walked into the suite it was like I felt at home. The suite was immaculate! If I could give this place 10 ⭐️ I would!

Recently buisness brings me to Palmer often. This place is great! Very clean, very comfortable!! I mean it is NICE!! Every suite I have stayed in is beautiful. Nice kitchens, bathrooms and bedrooms as well as separate living areas. Washers and dryers in the suites. If you want a luxurious place to stay and relax this is the place for you!

I have traveled all over the world, and have been fortunate enough to stay in some pretty swanky accommodations. Colony Suites is on par with the best of the best. Suite 7 was clean, and comfortable. You have everything you need, and the location couldn't be better. The owners communicate well and they're easy to get in touch with should you need something. I especially appreciated the small touches, like the bottled water in the fridge and the cozy bath towels. If you're in the Palmer area, I highly recommend Colony Suites.

Colony Suites is the perfect place to relax after a long day of work or sightseeing! It’s like having your own apartment and everything you need! They even have coffee pods and bottled water, which is a very nice touch! I stayed in #10 and #6 on different occasions for work, both looked like they were brand new! Both were super clean, decorated nicely, and comfortable. The kitchen space, living room, bedroom and bathrooms are perfect! And so close to everything in Palmer. The owners communication is excellent, thanks Marty! I’ll be staying here every chance I get when I am in Palmer!

I was on a work trip to Palmer and was very impressed with my stay! The unit I was in was brand new and immaculate. Convenient layout, nice modern smart TV and appliances (plus the washer/dryer which was super helpful) - I felt like I was staying in a model condo. Not only that, but they were very thorough in making sure everything i might need was in the unit. And, I received personal messages from the owner which was great. I ‘m looking forward to coming back to Palmer just so I can stay here again! Highly recommend!

It was so great to stay here one night. Everything is clean and up to date! Colony suite has everything you need so you just book and come and you will have a great trip. But the only thing I wish that some big sign or some thing special to help you guys find the place easier. I had to run around to find it even with the map.

The kitchen had everything we needed, the living room with a sofa was very comfortable.

There's a reason this place has five stars even after 60+ reviews. It's fantastic! We have been camping for the past few days and it was so nice to have a clean, spacious room (mini apartment, really) where everything worked: strong wifi, hot showers, full sized washer and dryer (with soap!), free coffee cups, etc. The towels and bedding were soft, decorations were thoughtful, and parking was super easy. The hotel is walking distance from restaurants, including the Matanuska brewery. You can also walk on the rail trail by the river for some amazing views.

My family has stayed many places and we really enjoyed our stay at COlony Suites! It had everything you could need (I checked everything out), employees/owners gave us all of the information needed and were quick to respond, and it was cozy. Thank you for a great nights rest Colony. We will definitely return.

Delightful in all aspects. The ambiance and attention to detail was phenomenal. The suite has a full kitchen, open with small dining table and roomy living room with 50"? TV offering many internet choices. The sofa is a queen fold out. Sliding door out to lawn area. The bath is spacious with a full sized shower, no tub. There is a laundry alcove with stacked washer/dryer. They were remarkably quiet during operation. The bedroom features a comfortable queen bed and dresser. Towels, sheets, iron, hair dryer, dishes, silverware, cooking utensils and pans, etc. are provided. It's located walking distance (<1 mile) to groceries, shopping, restaurants near downtown Palmer. The area is quasi-residential and quiet. If your privacy is important, all staff interactions are by email, text or phone unless a personal presence is requested or necessary. Staff is very responsive to communications. There are two adjacent suites. The sound insulation is excellent. For one person, the cost is pricey, however, for four, it's quite reasonable. Be aware there is an extra cleaning charge in addition to the room charge.
