Good place to have a beer and dinner. Typically they offer craft beers and local dishes. I recommend the salmon with potatoes. Polite and quick service. Honest prices.

I had assumed this would be a dive bar, but how wrong I was! A fabulous and extensive beer list backed up with some excellent food. Could it get any better, well yes. The service was top notch from the moment we arrived, anticipating when we wanted another drink, and super helpful.

My favorite beer place in Tallinn!!! By far! I’ve been there 3 times during my 5 days visit 😂 They have amazing beer selection… 🍺 I mainly tried high alcohol beers and loved all of them… Must visit!

▶️ Really really nice pub in the very heart of old town. Excellent selection of craft beers (especially Estonian ones) and descent food. 💥 Bonus information for you who are not understanding Estonian. "Hell Hunt" means "tender/gentle wolf" in English. 👉 Very friendly service and nice locals hanging here.👍

They have some beers on tap, also coders and than a huge selection of bottled Estonian craft beers. Service was very good. The decor is quite ugly. There is a huge tv screen which was quite annoying. They also have a large terrace.

Excellent pub with good looking interiors and a big, green terrace for the summer. Fast and nice service, food was good and in good quantity, ample beer selection and reasonable pricing. Plenty of locals, which is usually a good sign! Much recommended: spicy mushrooms soup!

Great food, great place ! One of the first bars in Estonia? Maybe... but it's great regardless. The place was packed when I've visited it, so there isn't that much free room, so beware or reserve in advance. The food is great. I've tried their fish & chips and Irish pie. All were great, with generous portions. Their beer selection is what makes the place tick for many. A lot of Estonian beers to choose from. The place was clean, and service was fast and efficient.

After we arrived at our apartment from the Airport, we were looking for a place to have lunch (and maybe a beer or two…). Hell Hunt was just around the corner and the perfect pub to start our Talllin weekend. Very relaxed atmosphere, waitress was very nice. We started with the tasty house lager (one of many) shared the starter plate (perfect bar food) and also the burger and fish and chips was great. This place was also a good option for a last beer (and some snacks) after a night out.

Recommend a reservation on the weekends if you have more than one in your party, but weekdays are a light crowd. Great bar atmosphere with a good selection of beers and cider. The Brother's toffee apple is dessert in a glass!

Nice pub recommended from Rick Steves’ travel guide. We stopped in for a quick pub snack and were not disappointed. The fish and chips had nice light batter and good taste with a cucumber tomato salad to help cut the grease. Projector showing live soccer was also a nice plus!

Went here for some beers and quick food and was very happy with my visit. Their own beers were good and the starters I chose where huge in size and great in taste. Seemed like a very cool local bar, will go back again next time im in town :-)

Great spot for drinks! First time trying Estonian craft beer. Definitely worth checking out when in Tallinn. I asked the bartender for a surprise shot and he made this yummy limoncello based drink with Tabasco. You’ll have to try it for yourself!

Best selection of Estonian beers I've seen in Tallinn. Good rock music to go with it! A must for beer travellers that like the finer beverages.

The oldest bar in Estonia, a great location, a cool name, a huge selection of beer (some other enjoyable drinks available, of course), a lovely terrace in the heart of the old city… what’s not to enjoy about this place?

Let me tell you that the shepherds pie was absolutely divine. The staff was super nice and kind and the decoration of the pub was so cool!

Beer is good and not too expensive. I like the big counter. Didn't try the food yet. Kudos for the music.

The food was amazing and the beer was delicious! The staff was really nice and friendly. Same place for two evenings and no regrets, just an awesome time spent)))

The hell hunt beer was nice. The entree was a little lacking in seasoning but the cream sauce was good paired with well cooked couscous and a crispy, juicy cutlet. Only place that has asked if I wanted to tip but I'm American so I didn't mind 10%.

The pub has a nice beer garden and offers a delicious range of home-brewed beer in addition to the usual beer varieties. The food is also good. The service is friendly.

Loved the beer! Tasty, drinkable varieties. The food looked good, although we just had an appetizer: the pork tongue. Very tasty! It was a busy night but the staff was still friendly and attentive. Give them a visit!

So we were complete Blown away by this place. We were just walking by and getting hungry and cold. At first we just it was a bar but then saw the menu. The inside was incredibly cozy and Maria was a great waitress. We tried multiple of the house beers. My husband had the fish and chips and I had the tomato soup with bread. I highly recommend stopping by and giving this place a try

A good place to buy a pint and relax. A bit noisy but pub is a pub so no complain. Staff was helpful and potatoes fry were a nice hot snack to add to the drink.

Situated in a small plaza in Tallinn Old Town, it's a beautiful experience. I really enjoyed the beer. With their name on the glass ofc. Extra thx to the excellent bartender!

Classic layman's located in the historical walled district of Tallinn. Regularly enjoyed this venue as my rest stop when exploring Tallinn. They have their own delicious Hele beer made at a local brewery. The food is simple pub faire but the beer itself is worth to stop. Not crowded but very Euro-cafe in atmosphere.

Cool restaurant for small groups to share some food, and have some beers/drinks. They take cards and speak English. Reservations are recommended, specially if going with more than 2 people.

  • 5/5 Teresa E. 2 years ago on Google
Great selection of beers, nice people, and good food. The salmon soup and the Shepherd pie were amazing, and the menu was written in Estonian and English, so we could understand everything. Definitely would recommend!

They have their own beer, the pub looks great and the food is quite good and for low prices. Considering its location, it's definitely a good place to go to.

Irish style pub in old town. A good place for a beer. Prices are reasonable, and food was good. Worth a visit! Visited Hell Hunt at the end of August 2021. Entry requirements: covid passport or negative covid test.

A lot of variety beers and drinks. We also ate there. Food was good with good mixture of spices. The waitress was very friendly. Happy to go again 🤌

Fast service. Food was okay, in the fish and chips the fish was missing a bit of taste. Shepherd's pie was very good!

  • 5/5 Mika S. 1 year ago on Google
Outstanding pub with a history dating back to early post-Soviet period. The atmosphere is authentic (with the best outdoor seating in town, to boot), the menu simple but tasty, their own beer outstanding. This was my favorite in the mid-90's, and still is. A must-visit.

  • 5/5 Scott S. 1 year ago on Google
Great atmosphere in an otherwise quiet Tallinn. Fairly priced pub food in the old town with excellent beers (also at the standard rate in Tallinn). Super friendly and efficient staff. Would definitely make this my local if I lived here.

Nice place to have a beer or eat outside but very bad organised. I suppose we had bad luck. We just did not get our food ... apologies that they forgot to order was the least they could ve done. Nice to see a large choice of beers but they do not have them all....

A place with an amazing atmosphere. I had a burger and it was really good. I also enjoyed the beer. I will repeat for sure!

What a wonderful place. Warm, welcoming, friendly staff, good food for good prices. Lovely atmosphere, lively but yet not to lively. It’s a perfect place for groups of adults and/or families alike. What can I say, they nailed it.

👍 Dubliner sijaitsee vanhankaupungin laidalla, toisessa päässä kuin laivaterminaalit. Paikka näyttää olevan suomalaisten suosiossa ja kahtena peräkkäisenä iltana täällä syöneenä kuuli paljon suomea. Itse ruoka oli hintaansa nähden hyvää. Sisäfileepihvi lisukkeineen kustansi 12.50€. Juomat hanasta ovat...
