This used to be a great place, but today it’s living on past reputation. The food was terrible, I ate salmon and caviar pasta, salmon seemed from can and it seemed that the pasta had been just heated up in a microwave oven. There was even no taste. When I told this to waiter, she just smiled and said oh no what might have happened. What happened or who happened indeed? In general service was poor, the waiters were running around and didn’t show any interest to serve, the music was as terrible as the food. I would never go back there.

The food is extremely overpriced compared to what you get. I ordered a Prosciutto crudo pizza and was devastated. The tomato sauce tasted bland and frozen. As well as the pizza dough tasted like something you could get in a store. By colleague ordered a burger, which was horrendous cause it was nothing you would expect to get from a restaurant. The fried was pre-frozen… and he had to ask is the burger was vegetarian after he got it cause it didn’t look like a burger. A tip for all the other tourists. Don’t go to this place. It’s a TOURIST TRAP. It looks amazing from the outside, but when you go inside and get the food you will get extremely disappointed. The food is dry, tasteless and the service is terrible.

I had the salami pizza and the salami was gross, my gf had the prosciutto and it had nearly no taste. The prices for a pizza are extremely high and the food is terrible. Don't even think about going here. Not worth 1eur. I tried eating the pizza anyway but it was just disappointing

The prices are way too high for the quality of the food. Starter plate with meat costs 23 euros and there was salami and parma ham which were OK, but then there was ham which had pistachio and it was half frozen and other ham did not taste anything. Olives and sun dried tomatoes I could not eat because of the weird taste. Pizza was ok, but too expensive for that quality.

Rip off. Borderline scam what sort of restruant charges 4 euros for a coca cola at lunchtime. EDIT: No it was not a waiters mistake, 1. you advertise 50% off food NOT drinks, you probably doubled the price of drinks ,) 2. I commented when i got the bill "4 euros for a cola!' to which the waiter just scoffed and said nothing seriously avoid this place!

WARNING, They are cheeting tourists. A big sign outside say half price on everything. When you pay you have to pay full price. The pizza tomato sauce was souer, probably old. Bear price is horrible. Go to the neighbour Sheeli or Olde Hansa instead.

Täytyy sanoa että mulle sattunut eri kokki kun monissa muissa arvosteluissa ollut. Täytyy sanoa että ruoka oli todella hyvää söin pasta frutti di maren ja alkupalaksi brushcetta. Brushetta oli kerrankin kuin Italiassa eli oikeasti pannulla valkosipulissa paistetut leipäsiivut,päällä vain reilusti pieniä tuoreita tomaatti kuutioita,reilusti rucolaa ja hyvää balsamicoa päällä ei muuta!! Eikä patongin puolikas jossa tomaattikastike ja läjä uunissa sulatettua juustoa päällä niinkuin ravintoloissa tapana. Pasta oli kerrankin niin hyvä kun täällä pohjoisessa voi tehdä ilman tuoreita isoja simpukoita. Päällä oli useampi isompi simpukka,mustekalan palat ja katkaravut reilusti ja sellaisissa paloissa että erotti mitä ne olivat. Hyvä öljypohjainen kastike jossa vain tuoreita kirsikka tomaatteja,valkosipulin kynsiä ja tuoretta chiliä. Tämä oli täydellinen kastike. Ja lähempänä italialaista kun suurin osa italialaisista ravintoloista Suomessa. Ainoa miinus hieman korkeasta hinta tasosta.Pitää myös muistaa että melkein vilkkaimmalla paikalla Tallinnan vanhassakaupungissa.

Just tried the veggie pizza, I have to say for 17 euros I was expecting something to be made fresh and not sent away with a frozen heated up pizza. Toppings were terrible I know for a fact they were not fresh, maybe even spoiled..hardly any cheese..this order here was the most wasted money I've eaten during my stay in Estonia, can't even eat it ...and the food in this country has been pretty great so far! ... You can honestly tell there was no love put into this meal. Very sad, especially for the price, won't come back and suggest you don't either. This is a 100% honest review, I'm not one to review, but I had to let you know. Pizza came out ready within 2 minutes of me placing the order...not impressed. And I usually can give places the benefit of the doubt. Old Hanse is right next door, please go there instead, like I will tomorrow night

Our group eat lasagne and pasta carbonara, both not so good. Vine moderate, As well as the charcuterie/cheese plate taken as appetizers. We now know why there were no bookings :(

Honestly the best Italian restaurant in the old town. The staff is amazing and the food is very tasty and always on time . I didn't have to wait for my order forever. They will be more than glad to help you out even if you are not a customer. They have been amazing and I will definelty come back to try different dishes and drinks . If you happen to stumble upon it in Tallinn j defiantly reccomend to give it a try and see what they have to offer. They have one of the best terraces for the summer season.

Gluten Free in Tallin, Yes! Mamma Mia Restoran, in Tallin Estona makes a very fresh and tasty gluten free pizza. It was not from a factory crust. The also have really good Aperol Spritz. They have a large elevated platform near the city center square that is perfect for watching people, enjoying the weather, and the white-nights. The staff are friendly and the prices reasonable.

Italian food outside of Italy? I can't imagine a better place to go. Great service, teriffic atmosphere and the best dish we've ever tried regarding antipasti and pasta!

Great restaurant with incredible service. The waiters speak English, so there were no problems in accepting the order. The dishes were prepared very quickly. Everything was delicious. Waiters are polite. Mamma mia is the best restaurant I visited in the old town of Tallinn

We have been here several times but this time the service was really slow. I had to ask for cutlery, they brought out appetisers at the same time as our meal and the food was just mediocre. Too bad. We liked it here well enough in the past

Ensimmäistä kertaa Vanhassa Tallinnassa ja eksyimme tietysti huonoimpaan ruokapaikkaan. Pizzat ainakin olivat hintaansa nähden todella ala-arvoisia. Henkilökunta oli todella nuorta ja suurimman osan ajasta näyttivät olevan ihan hukassa mitä pitäisi tehdä. Ainoa positiivinen asia oli pianisti joka soitti todella kauniisti, siitä annoimme hänelle tippiäkin.

Kokeiltiin kahta muuta italiaisravintolaa ensiksi, mutta olivat täynnä. Tilasin pastaa. Annos oli niin pieni että nälkä ei lähtenyt. Onneksi lapsien annoksista jäi minullekin. Ruoka oli syötävää, mutta ei mitenkään erityistä. Tunnelma oli ok, vaikkakin pöydät kovin tiiviisti. Myös palvelu ihan hyvää.

The service was quick and the service was regular. Nevertheless the food, it was barely ok. The pizza wasn’t tasty, and the duck salad, wasn’t too. About the duck salad: the duck was served cold and the portion was small. For a salad wasn’t pleasant either. wasn’t a good experience. It has a lot of room to improve!

Pizza was very good, the bruschetta OK. Service was friendly but obviously not really familiar with the business. My greek salad was just a joke. I never had such a poor salad for such a price. It’s outrageous. The good beer saved my mood.

Service was extremely slow here. It took 40 mnts to get the food served. A bit pricey comparing to the restaurants nearby. Taste was good.

We had lunch here today. We told our server that we had limited time because we had to meet up with our tour group in 40 minutes. Our food arrived in 10 minutes! My husband had the lasagna and I had the calzone. Both dishes were big enough to serve 2 people each. Both were delicious and reasonably priced.

Got a terrible pizza for insane prices. It was dry and had barely any cheese. Tasted like a pizza you could buy at home. DO NOT EAT HERE!!

I give it a 5 start not because the food but, the ambiance. Pizza was just ok, I was not sure about the procciuto. Please don’t put paprika in the pizza 😵‍💫. At 10 pm they started playing great retro music and salsa. The DJ was fun. Great variety of music. Prices are really good!! We had a great time.

Carbonara was everything, but not carbonara. In the end I’ve got a bill with 5 euro extra to each dish which we ordered (good that I memorized some prices from the menu). Staff wasn’t paying attention and everything was too slow. I don’t recommend this place even if you’re dying of starvation.

The service was good but the server took the order of the table who cam in after us. Food was subpar. I enjoy my lasagna, although a bit too cheesy. My friend’s salmon was over cooked and dry. Wouldn’t go again.

No problems with payment and so on. No problems also with regards to service. Quite average I would say. The food also didn’t draw my attention.

They advertise with 10% discount for beer, but when you are inside they don't know. Then when we insisted they even called police! We paid to not get into trouble with estonian police. Never again! It's a scam! Avoid at any cost!

Maybe it was bad before a year. But now it was quite good. We ordered pizzas 9euro each, they were not burned and not raw. Beer was also tasty. I liked it.
