Tallinn
Restaurant
Week.
3-course
dinner
menu
40€.
All
dishes
were
very
well
performed
and
flavourful.
Entrée-
The
cod
liver
mousse
with
toast
on
side
was
very
delicate.
Red
caviar
added
a
nice
salty
touch.
Main
dish
-
Grilled
lamb
fillet
was
of
superb
quality
-
very
soft
and
grilled,
just
as
I’ve
asked,
medium
rare.
Celery
root
purée
was
delicate.
Cognac
sauce
added
a
savory
note.
My
only
concern
is
the
portion
size.
If
I
would
order
it
a
la
carte
at
35€,
I
would
be
extremely
disappointed
with
the
small
size
of
portion.
If
however,
the
resto
reduced
the
portion
within
Restaurants
Week
project,
then
it’s
even
worse
imho.
Dessert
-
black
bread
soup
(though
on
event
it
was
announced
as
pudding
and
those
are
two
different
things)
with
berry
sorbet
and
sour
cream
mousse
-
it
was
good
and
flavourful,
nicely
served
too.
The
reason
I
rate
4
and
not
5
was
because
of
my
main
dish
size/price
ratio
-
totally
out
of
balance.
The
second
reason
was
the
wine
list.
Estonian
wines
are
represented
only
by
Murimäe.
Being
sommelier
I
know
an
array
of
great
Estonian
wine
producers,
that
would
give
guests
a
much
more
exciting
experience.
Another
reason
is
that
the
rhubarb
sparkling
wine
we
ordered
was
warm
and
if
I
wouldn’t
have
brought
it
to
attention,
the
girl
wanted
to
pour
it
out
as
it
was.
Moreover,
she
offered
to
bring
some
ice
to
put
in
a
glass
-
I
appreciate
the
good
intention,
but
it’s
a
definite
and
strong
NO-NO
(why
would
anyone
want
to
ruin
a
good
wine
with
ice?).
Otherwise
the
service
was
very
nice
and
attentive.
I
really
enjoyed
it
is
an
elegant
restaurant
one
can
dress
up.
