Pricepoint high. Great atmosphere and wine selection. Food (we tried a salad, entrès and the Balthazar special sizzling steak) was decent but not near as good as could be expected from the price, and they did not apply the garlic theme in an interesting way. Their assortment of pickled garlic I would rate as below that which you can buy in a jar at a supermarket. Too sharp garlic taste and too bland flavouring. The (under)cooked garlic bouquet was also too sharp without having the depth found in similar garlic preparations.

Rustically furnished restaurant. This restaurant is recommended for people who like or love garlic. The food is very tasty and beautifully prepared. The service is friendly and nice. Reservations are recommended for the evening.

Mikäli arvostat maukasta, erilaista (esim.jäätelössä valkosipulia) ja laadukasta ruokaa, niin kannattaa käydä. Erityisruokavaliot otettiin hyvin huomioon. Pöydästä näkymä suoraan Raatihuoneen torille. Ainut miinus, että paikassa ei ole otettu huomioon liikuntarajoitteisia henkilöitä (paljon portaita) joita mahdoton kulkea, jos olet esim.pyörätuolilla liikkeellä. Ystävällistä palvelua.

Very atmospheric and tasty place. I want to come back here. The excellent interior of an old house evokes amazing feelings of past centuries. The cuisine deserves special praise - not only for its taste, but also its presentation always pleases with its sophistication.

Service and food was amazing! I had the garlic ice cream for dessert and it blew my mind! Staff was friendly and professional, every course was delicious and well prepared. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the view astonishing. We can't wait to go there again!

Unusual restaurant with a garlic twist to most of their dishes. Food is delicious albeit pricier than in the restaurants around. Totally worth the extra investment though if you can afford it.
