If you are looking for Indian or Thai meal, this place is recommended. Of course it is not saulty and spicy but definitely tasty. Nice and clean place with very friendly service. Recommended for groups and couples. They serve liquor also.

I love Asian food and have my favorites in Tallinn, but Villa Thai definitely is a new, tasty discovery that will be among my favorites. We came for a lunch, and the price was very OK, service was amazing, food quality was outstanding, flavors mmmmmm unforgettable and the overall experience was very, very pleasant. Can't wait to come again!

I was honestly quite disappointed in our order. Given the high ratings and relatively high prices relative to their particular market segment, I was expecting good Thai or Indian that actually tastes like something that may be served in either country. We ordered the "Thai style" prawns in garlic-pepper sauce and the spicy eggplant with onion, tomato and herbs. Both sauces tasted identical to us, and can be summed up as "generic westernized Asian", with no distinct flavour profile. This is the kind of sauce I would fully expect from a place like Chopsticks, but not from something in this price and supposed quality range. In addition, the shrimps were overcooked, and aside from the shrimp and the generic sauce, the dish contained some large chunks of onion and not much else. This is why I'm really unsure what justifies the almost 19 euro price tag on it. For reference, you can get a seafood main for 16 euros at Fotografiska, which ranks third on Tallinn's White Guide list. You can generally expect and also receive a pretty damn good dish in the 15-20 euro range in Tallinn. The deep fried eggplant in the eggplant main was fine, even interesting, but the whole dish again came crashing down because of the generic brown sauce it was served with. Both dishes came with a spicy warning, though I must admit the heat was undetectable to both me and my wife, neither of whom can be considered a "chili head" or anything even remotely like it. So all in all a very disappointing experience and I don't think we will be ordering from here again. Perhaps there are better dishes on the menu - given the ratings, I'm sure of it, actually - but why water down your menu by adding options of such low quality?

Very good indian/asian food place

Just amazing Indian food. The restaurant welcomes you with beautiful indian music background, welcoming staff and really beautiful (and peaceful) Indian Thai fusion decor! Must go to this place to experience it yourself! Me and husband truly enjoyed our lunch, on our first day in Estonia!

Amazing and atmospheric place to get some legit Thai and Indian food. The place looks awesome and the service reminds me a fancy five star restorant although prices in Villa Thai are very very very fair! The most amazing was the quality and the taste of the food. I was blown away by boldness of seasoning and every fork-full was a party in my mouth. The chicken was cooled to perfection and the rice...dont even get me started...the rice tasted delicious! Overall a fabulous experience and I recommend this place to everyone at least to visit once!

Nominated for best asian cuisine in Silverspoon 2018 and 2019 (Estonian gastronomy contest)🏆. But the restaurant really is great! Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Food of course is excellent! My favourite was Gra Bong, a crispy eggplant which was so soft and silky inside that it was even cheese-like. Everything else that we tried was also very delicious (especially machi kasmiri tikka, fried ice cream, yum!). Highly recommend ✨

Great atmosphere, but food without love and care. Especially Thai food, that was below any level. Tom Kha was like home made random coconut water, super sad I wasted money in this place! Never again! Waitresses were also not attentive, difficult to catch. Sorry for the bad review.

The food was very nice - spicy and flavoursome. Taking one star away for the average cocktails and slow service. Overall would recommend if craving Indian food in Tallinn.

The service was extremely slow and disrespectful. The staff did not seem to be interested in our party. The food was okay, but our local asian buffet diner is just as good. Overall we were dissapointed with the experience as the place has received good reviews previously.

hello! You have increased 20% at least prices. More than others Thai/Chinese restorans.. Luckily we can choose now in Tallinn. not like in 2002 when you were the only one and the best. :)

The food was very nice but the service was terrible. We have been waiting the food for so long and in the end we were not even able to order desert because the kitchen were already closed (at 8:15pm). The waitress was not welcoming at all and almost disrespectful. The overall customer experience was bad.

Deco was beautiful, atmosphere was good. However staff was not so friendly and the food is absolutely not authentic. My Tomyum and Pad Thai were very disappointing, among the worst Thai food I’ve had. The drink and dessert were good though.

Visited in January on my birthday :) A little bit of a fancy place. But I liked the ambience and the meals. Especially the masala chai is a good ending touch to try. It comes with honey. Whole price of the meals and chai was 18.50€ for me.

What an amazing restaurant!! The food was UNBELIVEABLE and service was really polite and sweet. The place was really sterile and honestly quite beautiful. One HUNDRED percent recommend. Completely satisfied.

The service is good, the food is delicious - there is meals that are not so spice and others that are realy spice. The prices are in the class of places with rate of $$.
