A flawless symbiosis between interior design, level of service and menu itself! Six-course chef's tasting menu with perfectly paired wine options and 4 hours flew by in a blissful mixture of food, wine, and atmosphere. The evening starts in the lounge with drinks and first course (out of 10, so you actually get more than 6). Every detail in the restaurant is polished, service extremely thoughtful and THE FOOD… just perfect! Unexpected combinations (like lobster with watermelon and vanilla sauce) in brilliant execution. Meat and cheese straight from France and Chef de Cuisine serving your table personally! 10/10 and definitely recommend visiting that exceptional place! Hard to find something equally good in Tallinn.

I’ve visited some of the best restaurants in the world, yet never got such superb service anywhere else. I enjoyed every dish and confirm that one does get a fine dining experience at 180 ℃. I’m surprised that it’s still missing the Michelin star - it definitely deserves it.

🏆 Best Estonian restaurant according to the White Guide 2021. Won the title "best fine dining" in Estonian gastronomy competition Silverspoon 2019. Even though this restaurant was opened rather recently in 2018, it has quickly gained its well-deserved reputation. The dishes are polished to an amazing journey of flavours. Beautiful and elegant atmosphere created to modern Port Noblessner. And of course, world class service. Thanks for the great evening!

As a foodie, this is one of the few places you would *have* to visit to experience the best Tallinn has to offer.

It was our 72nd Michelin star restaurant. We came to Tallinn to visit both Michelin star restaurants. The location, ambience, luxury interior was impresive. But the food I would say nothing exceptional from amuse bouche to the starters and fish dish. No doubts it was used high quality technics, but there was the lack of indentity, moslty dishes were almost the same flavor and there were dominated only too concentrated sauce taste. Only lamb and dessert were perfecly balanced. And the last but not least - staff. From the begining till the end it was so pushy service. We never like when staff force you to order extra caviar, cheese or more expensive wine. When you need to refuse it for 2-3 times in a row you start feel uncomfortable. My recomendation would be: if you have to choose between 180 and Noa chef’s hall go to Noa. It will be unique gastronomic experience, not so overpriced food and wine and you will be able to taste Modern Estonian cuisine, not European based on french techniques.

The restaurant is located about 30 minutes by foot from Tallinn old town in fancy Noblessner - a former submarine shipyard turned into a posh seafront quarter. The interior is very stylish and modern with amazing views of the port. We were greeted in the bar area where cocktails and the first appetizers were served. The restaurant itself has an open kitchen where you can watch the chefs prepare the meals. We enjoyed a six-course menu, converted into a pescatarian version for one of us, which was strong in flavor and highly creative. Think celery in a dessert or red cabbage with chocolate. Just to be clear - the taste was unusual, but amazing. Anything creative made total sense, nothing seemed to be done just to provoke or do something out of the ordinary for the sake of it. When Guide Michelin was first introduced to Estonia back in 2022, the restaurant was awarded one star, just one year later the second star was earned. We found the menu’s composition, flavor pairing and strong taste certainly star-worthy. Service was attentive, the sommelier and the young gentlemen who introduced the cheese from the amazing cheese board were so passionate about their job and what they had to offer that we enjoyed our dinner even more.

Absolutely delicious from the start till the end! Would 100% recommend taking the chef’s table for an impeccable service and tasty foods. Portions are small but rich in flavor, by the end of the dinner I was full!

The restaurant serves a very good cuisine. The food taste is mostly perfect. Staff is friendly and attentive, excellent service. The ambience and atmosphere is super cozy. It’s pricey but the food is worth the money although the food portions are small.

An amazing experience. Highly recommend the chef's table, where you can watch, learn, of and really enjoy the full process. Every dish we had was superb, as was the wine and drinks and service. The snacks were a delight, and the marshmallow cheese will live in my mind forever. So worth visiting, and we will be back. Also the staff were absolutely too kind.

We couldn't wait to visit one of the first Michelin star restaurants in Estonia. I have visited a few in London and Rome previously and was interested to see how it compares. To start off, the welcome was great and the pre-dinner seating area was very cosy. The cocktails were delicious - we had the whiskey/cherry and gin/rhubarb ones. Really, props to whoever makes your cocktails! One of my main feedback would be, however, that in the welcome area there seemed to be no service in Estonian, which is a bit assumptious - not everyone speaks English fluently. Also, the dinner took 4-4.5 hours, which was way too long to wait between meals. I mean when your waiter suggests to go stretch your legs between courses I don't see it as a particularly good sign. Overall I would say it was a good experience but at this price point there is absolutely some room for improvement.

I’ve visited 180 degrees during their first year of operation and loved the experience - so we went back with high expectations. Unfortunately I have to give a 3/5 rating because the restaurant has hiked up its prices so much, that it’s not good value for money anymore. I’ll explain why below, but I’d easily give a 4-4,5 star rating if our dinner was half the price, but at 600€ for two ppl (with wines) the food was not worth the money. Firstly, the lounge is lovely and atmospheric, but we waited for our cocktails for 20 minutes. Then we waited a further 20 minutes to get our snacks. Which were divine and led us to expect great things from the dinner! First three courses of the dinner did deliver, but the mains were a bit disappointment. The chicken dish had too many strong competing flavors, while the black angus was not very tender. To me it also seemed that the sauces where the same in the two mains, making the flavor profiles very similar. Dessert was lovely, but the pairing with a white port did not work in our opinion. One major flaw in the evening and service were the long wait times, and the fact that my friends allergies and dietary restrictions were misunderstood or forgotten multiple times. We sent these to the restaurant almost a week in advance of our booking, but it seemed the comms between floor staff and kitchen was flawed at best.

Amazing place and best of the city. 180 gets his name from the view and the kitchen that is open and has a 180 view (in reality the kitchen is 360 :-)) Absolutely hands done awesome kitchen and service. See plates below. My favs were starters and the mains. Small comment is that we would love to if the chef would have said hello at the table

The food quality was great, in my opinion on par with several Michelin starred restaurants that I have visited in the past. I would therefore not be surprised if 180 degrees would end up getting awarded a Michelin star soon. Judging the value-for-money rather than just the quality itself, I feel that it is slightly overpriced. The prices here are surprisingly higher than most of the restaurants with one Michelin star that I have thus far visited elsewhere in Europe (mostly in the Netherlands and the UK).

If in need for a superb foodtainment experience then i wholeheartedly recommend 180° restaurant in Tallinn. A symphony of exquisite tastes put together by Mattias Dietrich and his team along with perfectly orchestrated timing and superb service made for an otherworldly experience. This time we went with the mocktails instead of the wine pairings and it added so much to the evening- the playful drinks really complemented the dishes and allowed for a wider range of tastes and experiences than wine would have. Still dreaming of the green peas parfait and pork belly butter...

Definitely an unforgettable evening. Everything from service to the thought through food and drink pairings, everything was just sublime. Every bite is memorable, you'll discover completely new flavors. Service is professional and makes sure that everything goes without a hitch. It is costly, but worth it. If you can afford it, take the opportunity and spoil yourself here. Make sure to try the coctails. You won't regret coming.

Very special restaurant in Tallinn, with truly first class service and nice food. First you are greeted with a drink in the lobby (really nice bar) where also first course is served. After first tasting, you are invited to the main room, where tables are circling the open kitchen in the middle. Fear not, neither the smell, noise or heat from the kitchen reaches the tables. The servings are smallish, but there are many of these. Meals are interesting, fun and surprising. Service is great, wine pairing is available. Highly recommended for special events!

My husband and I had the tasting menu at the chef’s table. It was a 200% excellent experience from beginning to the end, every single course was so good we can’t stop talking about it 😃 5 star experience. Top notch waiters and great wine suggestions from the sommelier. Not surprised at all that they received a Michelin star. Thank you

It is funny to read the reviews and think that it cannot be THAT good and then taste it and realize that it is! It is a different experience from other Estonian restaurants. First you sit in a lounge and get four bites of food to raise curiosity of what is coming next. Then in the main dining hall waiters are assisting you in every eay. The whole staff is international (I heard one guy speak Estonian). My favorite was King crab and the main dessert with coconut which looked like a fairy forest. With every bite you get a new taste sensation and time flies. We were fast but still spent 3,5h. Thank you for a great B-day gift!

Absolutely amazing experience! You can tell that every member of the team put their hearts and souls into their respective tasks. Atmosphere was cozy, welcoming and relaxed from the beginning until the end. Everything was perfect from service to food and they most definitely deserve their Michelin star! It truly was a journey of flavours! Without a hesitation I would recommend to dine there if you seek for an experience rather than just a full stomach! Thank you 180°!

The good: beautiful restaurant, great service and incredible attention to detail when building the dishes - each dish presentation was like a work of art. Also the atmosphere was great! The bad: unfortunately the food didn’t hit the mark - strong rich flavours with competing flavours on the same plate and balance was missing. presentation was wow, taste was underwhelming. I think they were testing a new menu and it felt like kitchen staff didn’t jell well together - there was a lot of arguing in the kitchen between them - That’s ok for entertainment value, but when the tastes aren’t great it makes you wonder if the food is failing because of it.

180 degrees offers flavor experience through various cuisines. The appetizers in lounge area were certainly exciting and surprising. Can’t say that I’ve ever thought about kimchi ice cream ha. The atmosphere in the lounge area is cozy, and it’s perfect for wine and shorter course. Definitely one of the most interesting restaurant experiences in Tallinn. Its located right next to the sea, so you can either enjoy the view from the restaurant or take a romantic walk after dinner.

Fantastic food with great service. Fully deserving of their newly awarded second star. I loved that every table could see how the chef and his team went through the service. Highly recommend going for the full 6 courses over the 4 course option. The two extra courses during my visit were the scallop and pigeon and both were delightful. Only slight negative was that the whole dinner took 4 hours which I felt could have been done in 3 to 3.5 hours.

Absolute perfection from start to finish. Each dish was a delight and the thoughtfulness that went into the wine pairings made for a remarkable experience. It was a joy to watch the construction of each dish from the Chef’s Table. Thank you to Chef Matthias Diether and his wonderful team for the hospitality and unforgettable evening in Tallinn!

Fantastic experience, exquisitely crafted food and perfectly match wine pairing. Staff were attentive, atmosphere was cozy, and views of Tallinn docks were gorgeous as the sunset during the 6 course meal. A must do for those willing to splurge on a wonderful experience.

What an experience, worth the money. Added cheese, caviar, champagne. Great vibe, worth to visit. The only improvements would have to be done to the restrooms, no labels on sanitizer and soap, no hand cream. Some fragrance could have been added to the toilet, for ultimate atmosphere.

We came to 180° to celebrate our one year anniversary and had a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. We were greeted and directed to a beautiful room were the bar is located and sat down for the warm up - we chose delicious cocktails from the menu and later on the super nice bartender prepared us some of our own favorites - soon enough we were served some snacks - 4 beautifully presented and executed little dishes - a small view of what we were in for. After snacks we were directed to the main room were we sat right by the open kitchen and had a great view of the dance of the cooks during service. Our server Jeremy and their somm were just the best, as well as every single member of the staff - just a treat to watch a good team working in sync. As far as food - every single dish was beautifully executed and perfectly presented. Bold flavors and a lot of character on the menu - cheers to chef Matthias and the whole crew. The pictures are gonna speak for themselves but our favorites were : •yellow fin tuna with goose liver and kimchi ice cream ( as a person obsessed with kimchi this ice cream should be sold somewhere just so I can buy it, absolutely incredible ) •smoked eel with pears and mustard ice cream ( same reaction on this ice cream, incredible - brought crazy balance to the dish) If you are in Tallin, do not think twice, make a reservation and enjoy the wonderful work that the team at 180° are serving. We will be back for sure. Thank you guys ! Cheers from Brazil and Lithuania
