In my opinion, KUMU is one of the best, but yet most underrated contemporary art museums. Everytime I visit there, there are always new and creative art works ready to surprise and encourage your inner creativity to bloom again

Loved this fabulously designed gallery which offers Estonian modern art on 5 levels. There's film medium too so give yourself 3 hours if you want to see everything at a reasonable pace.

Well Kumu itself is an amazing museum, probably the best art museum in all Baltic states. And other amazing thing that they even had rave in their main hall. Imagine rave at the museum. Amazing stuff

KUMU is a great experience if you want to discover Estonian art. I mostly appreciate the contemporary exhibitions which have a great narrative and tell you the story behind. There are also interactive parts for engagement but in my opinion they are isolated and not very welcoming you to create. The museum is accessible by wheelchair. I do not know if they have special materials for people with visual impairment and hearing loss or any other special needs.

The museum building has been built into a limestone bank at the eastern end of Kadriorg Park and is truly a work of art by itself. Partially underground, this crescent-shaped wedge of Estonian limestone, green-patinated copper, and glass juts out from the grassy ridge like a surfacing submarine. KUMU is the headquarters of the Estonian Art Museum and serves both as Estonia’s national gallery and as a centre for contemporary art. Its interior is beautifully designed and the three floors of exhibits trace an eclectic mix of Estonian art from the 18th to 21st centuries.

Interesting collection, displayed in a way that keeps you curious. The building is huge making it pleasant to wander it's floors. Take your time, you'll easily spend 2 hours here. Very accessible to English speakers. All art from the sovjet period is grouped on 1 floor making it a cohesive collection.

Museum is big and exhibitions change all the time. So there is always something new to discover (or something old, missed on a previous visit).

Really enjoyable experience with a wide variety of art styles from the early 1930s, through the Soviet era, up to the 1990s. There are also some quite bizarre art pieces from the 90s towards the end.

Visited the art museum for second time over few years. Had many interesting exhibitions. I visited during weekday and it was relaxing and peaceful.

Great museum, that shows a huge perspective of Estonian art and history from the 18th century until today. The exhibition is informative, rich and easy to lost in, so be prepared to spend even 2-3 hours there. The time spent there really worth it, because you can discover Estonian art and society as well. The building itself is very beautifal and a real architectural gem.

It was a 30min walk to reach the Kumu Museum from the Old town of Tallin. There were many exhibitions ongoing at the time. The entrance ticket price was 15 euro for an adult. We had limited time in Tallin due to which we could not be in queue for the other exhibits! Make sure to have atleast 30mins for each exhibition! There are other Musuems just next to it such as the Mikkel and Kadriorg! We also went there but the queue was huge so we had to give up! Something we will definitely have on list the next time we visit Tallin

Very nice place ! With my work team, we had a workshop where we could fill different part of the museum and make an abstract artistic video. It’s an ideal place to visit if you like abstract and modern art.

Beautiful, suprising and very educating not only abut art, but history of Estonia. Recommend to use time on the welcoming video on estonian and baltic art. Situated in a wonderful park with other museums and presidential residence.

The regular collection was really really good. A great cut through of Estonian art. The changing exhibitions were also amazing. Especially the Jeremy Shaw - Shape shifting index exhibition. It was really hypnotic and awesome. I watched it twice in a row.

The most important art museum in Tallinn and in Estonia. There are different exhibitions of Estonian artists including Baltic Germans. You get a perfect overview of how Estonian culture has developed during last centuries strongly influenced by Germans although officially ruled by Russians.

I only had 50 minutes before the attention span of my toddler runs out. But an absolutely stunning collection of Estonian art. I typically don't like artworks of the postwar period, but in this case I did. Highly recommended.

The KUMU is the art gallery that is divided into 5 zones. Different zones dedicated to different ages and kind of art. I would recommend to visit especially first and second floor (with more traditional art). Overall I am recommending to visit this place in order to acquire new impressions.

Great museum ! Really instructive. The only defect that I found it is that sometimes the sense of the visit is not really clear. Got for it it is a must do !

Great way to learn the history of Estonia through art. A lot of room for different exhibitions. If you're interested in arts, this place is a must.

Relatively new museum built in 2006, but has succeeded to become one of the most important museums in Estonia. This is the main place to go if you want to see Estonian art. The main collection includes Estonian art from the 18th century onwards. Temporary exhibitions has both foreign and Estonian modern and contemporary art.

Don't visit museum Cafe Reval, they are cooking so bad.. museum administration should do something with it and rent this place for other decent cafe. Such a disappointing experience. Want to wash my mouth after this food

Really good museum covering classic and modern Estonian art in 4 floors. Building architecture and interior itself are worth a visit. However, the exhibitions are really great too, featuring paintings, lots of sculptures and also media art and reflecting the changing history of Tallinn/Estonia with pieces from times of Peter I, Soviet era and post communism. I can recommend to take the elevator to the top floor and make your way downwards.

Good museum, the art covers all eras of Estonian painting. Some modern expositions are really weird and that's part of art too. So go and see for yourself. But be ready to spend around 2 hours in there.

Original expositions! Very inspiring and somewhat creepy! Recomend!

So uhm... What's with the modern art? I mean, since when planting a tree in your mouth is art? Did I miss a step in degradation? Anyways, the first floor was good, I liked it :)
