Another church turned into a museum for which entrance is 2 Euros, a fair price for the experience The only problem is that they don't have a schedule when the church is open ... I had to go there three times to actually find it open but the wait was worth it Architecture is a gem and inside there is a vast collection of shields with the emblem of German families from the old times that is quite impressive. Since it's with pay and the hours are awkward not too many people are here at once and you can actually enjoy it

Beautiful church and the walk up the tower is well worth it. The climb up is 143 steps. The space is narrow but not too bad. There is a rope you can hold on to for support. The views are breathtaking from the top. The exterior is white washed and beautiful in an austere way. The interior of the church is very different, many coats of arms.

Good place to listen for the organ on the weekend. And you can go to top of the tower to see the best view of the entire old town

Entering this fine building was two Euros well spent. By coincidence, the organist struck up a performance as soon as I entered. I was moved by a combination of the stark simplicity of the medieval fabric, its extraordinary coats of arms and the angelic music. It is a very rare place.

The moment you step in you are attached by the "hosts" to pay the entry fee. We were planning to go in, but the way we were adressed made us lose our appetite. Most unfriendly experience in three weeks in the Baltics. An embarressment for the otherwise great capital of Estonia.

A nice medieval church at the highest point of Tallinn's old town. Have a look at the lovely badges on the walls, and for €5 you can climb the tower which gives you a fabulous view over the old town.

Best church ever. Coat of arms collection is stunning. Musical Saturday noons are great addition.

A wonderful church, established before 1233 and repeatedly rebuilt. There are more than 100 Coat of Arms, made in memorial to dead people, which are wonderfully colorful and intricately designed. It was fun to hike up to the roof which had fantastic views all around! I was in Tallinn on a 9-hour stopover on a Norwegian Getaway 9-day Baltic Cruise during mid-August 2019. I had a 'Tallinn Card', which covered most sights. Rick Steves "Scandinavian & Northern European Cruise Ports" Guidebook was a great help and this sight was part of the self-guided "Tallinn Walk" in the book.

Cool church. Has the coat of arms of various families buried under the church displayed on the walls. Besides having an organ concert each sat. at noon.

I really like this church. It is pretty different than others. On Saturday at 12 pm, there's an organ recital. The entrance is 2€ and Saturday for the organ recital 4€.

Only 5 euros for a beautiful view of the old town from the tower, its well worth the climb in my opinion.

A beautiful cathedral in my beloved old town. Yesterday I enjoyed Bachfest concert there, organ and trumpet were singing and the music raised us to heaven. It gets a bit chilly, be sure to dress warmly.

Old beautiful church worth a visit. You can also climb up the tower to enjoy a city view. A lot of heraldic (if you are into this). Entrance is 2€

Unfortunately the tower is closed for reconstruction. The Cathedral of St. Mary the Virgin (popularly known as Dome Church) is rumoured to be the oldest church in Estonia. This cute church was built as a wooden church in 1240 by the Danes and has undergone vast rebuilding over the years. The austere whitewashed Gothic exterior dates from the 14th century, while the beautiful interior boasts an elaborate Baroque pulpit and an organ built in 1878.

The entrance is like 2 euro. If you are really interested in churches, I guess it will be worth it. Otherwise just looking at it from the outside is enough.

Interesting church with a very unique interior full of family badges and flags It's nice, but the 2 euros to get in are a little bit toooo much
