The place marked on the map is not where the national library is. Make sure you don't make the same mistake and follow the map. Check the actual address.

ℹ️This amazing building was built in 1985-1993. There are 8 floors in total, two of which are underground. It is still the biggest library in the Baltics. Check out the back of the building too - it looks as awesome as the front.

All seats were taken, couldn't come study at the library. My friend couldn't go to the bathroom or study properly and so I did have the same problem! The library looked nice but water is an essential! This is unnacceptable. Maybe things have changed, I came last month but still this is not okay.

Libraries are cool. This library is extra cool. Built in the end of the Soviet era in Estonia it has stood as part of Estonian national pride. You can get books, music, magazines, and other culture there. Two places where you can eat on the ground level. You can rent office space for an hour or a month.

Don't go with kids, you'll be killed with sarcastic comments, bad behavior and lack of ethics. Very toxic place. Probably a castle and a lonely island for bookworm creeps. I was there only in lobby with my 2 kids and when I was undressing them I made a huge mistake by putting them to sit on the wardrobe counter. This is lack of ethics because normal people put their clothes on it.

No proper machine for drinking water, the reception is rude and acts very suspicious. Also can't go to the toilet. Don't go there, this place is not worth it. I have also noticed that I am being watched by the staff whenever I come in the building. And in the toilet after I close the door someone shakes the handle, however there's no one then I come out. Happened 3 times in a row.

Old building and it's going to be renovated soon. Let's see how it will look like just in 5 years as they promised.

One of the most impressive Libraries I've been to. Really amazing architecture, interesting exhibits, & plenty of places to sit & chill with a book.

WARNING. Wrong place. The famous soviet style library is south west of the old town.

👍 Dubliner sijaitsee vanhankaupungin laidalla, toisessa päässä kuin laivaterminaalit. Paikka näyttää olevan suomalaisten suosiossa ja kahtena peräkkäisenä iltana täällä syöneenä kuuli paljon suomea. Itse ruoka oli hintaansa nähden hyvää. Sisäfileepihvi lisukkeineen kustansi 12.50€. Juomat hanasta ovat...

👍👍 Food & drinks was decent and hearty, the interior and atmosphere were charming but i have to talk about our server/waitress Diani (apologies for any spelling error) who was actually smiling (with teeth! 👍 I enjoyed the food the lady who served me recommended. I had the Kiev cutlet and chicken filled with cheese. It was a different flavor than I was used to so it was good.
