One of the best hiking trails I've been to. Well maintained, different paths with different lengths. Plenty of areas to visit and learn from placed signs.

Overall good for walking but not very well signposted and be aware of the days where military trainings are taking part.

It’s not easy to get there with public transport. The only exciting part of the trail is the watchtower and the woods in its diameter. The rest of the trails are little boring but quiet as well, so one can actually wind out.

Went with a group of people in early October. The weather was chilly and it almost didn't rain at all. The place is quite nice and especially you can feel the clean air coming through your noses. There was a wooden path for 90% of our route. Check history and facts about the place before you go, this way it will be more interesting. Take caution as the wooden path can be slippery sometimes and it is good to take raincoat in case of a sudden rain.

Nic big but there is also a lot of trees where you can hid in the shadow. It’s not very open one. Fastest rout is 1h to walk around. There are 4 routs and few parking around the whole forest. Quite a lot of people walking or running or even on a walk with a dog. From watch tower you can’t see anything as trees are so high already.

A beautiful place that you have to visit when you are in Tallinn. The wooden trail is an awesome idea to discover the forest.

Pleasant place for forest walks and birdwatching. Judging from the number of locals strolling alone it also is very safe.

There are different routes available, and you can combine them if/however you want. The nature is really pretty. However, because there's so much water, there are a LOT of mosquitos, so be prepared for this. In addition, some paths were (now) under water (shallow), so wear good shoes/boots if you don't want wet socks.

In summer this place could be more interesting, but during winter everything is covered with snow, which is nice, but you can't see the bogs. Besides the place could be very icy in winter

It's a little noisy due to being so close or within the city also I could hear the military explosions and gunfire from the nearby ranges but the trails are amazing and the flora great to study.

It's a really good spot to go hiking. It's near the city center like 15 mins driving. If you're lucky enough, you can pick mushrooms or berries. Be careful about the flies during summer :)

A place for a good stroll. Once you reach where google map leads you to, you will find the sign is in Estonian that makes it hard for a foreigner to figure which path to take, or even will there be no path in the middle of the woods and somehow get lost? But just follow the walking road and you will definitely walk the way out. In a good day, you’ll meet people biking, walking the dog. If you’re traveling alone and might panic after seeing the only Estonian sign. Your phone can connect to the internet at all time for help. As long as you follow the road path, nothing can go wrong. I did enjoy the walk, hope you do!

Nice trails good for cycling or walking. Observation deck is good too. Very close to the city but takes you pretty deep into the woods if you like.

It offers nice walking trails, some on wooden planks. If you go there after heavy rainfall, some of the planks may be slightly submerged in water, so make sure to have proper footwear.
