The most similar thing to a "real" market that I've been able to find so far in Tallinn. It still conserves that amazing Soviet spirit, and sometimes you can find good deals, specially for fruit and vegetables, although the price is not so different from average supermarkets. I really recommend it though!

Mostly vegetable and fruit stalls, had some clothing as well. Had few meat and fish stalls. Looks quite old and run down. But good to see the market alive.

Keskturg in Tallinn is a place which is much more interesting and worth to visit than for example malls of Tallinn. There is at Keskturg a market hall where they sell meat, cheese, many kind of food things. At the marketplace you can buy fresh vegetables and fruits, and there are small shops or rather booths where you can buy (a bit old fashion) clothes. And there are two fish shops, not so easily found; and the bigger one of them has a good assortment of fish with very good prices. To visit Keskturg is a small time trip to the former times which one should do if one has a bit more time to walk around in Tallinn.

Great place to buy fresh vegetables and fruits. Some are from local farmers which is great to support them

One of the three big Soviet-style markets in Tallinn offers a big choice of fruits, vegetables, meat, nuts, honey and even clothes. Not as cheap as groceries, but usually you can find better quality or just have a chit chat with seller. Usually, at meat or fish place you can ask for free to cut or peel goods, or as advice which product is better to add in dish. Mostly nobody takes a card, cash only. Usually has no premium meat, no premium seafood like scallops, only local and sea fishes. On high hours, like Saturday late morning, has a lots of exclusive offers from people driving only on that time once per week.

Rustic authenticity for individual pensioners selling their wares of nick nacks to old fashioned butchers offering individual cuts of various meats and organs.

Vähän kuin vanha Mustamäen tori minikoossa.

Tons of great deals, fruits, vegetables, and huge meat selection for humans and pets (Mine eat Lamb). Only place you'll find Lamb at an affordable price. They're working day to night, in the cold and rain. Check them out, better deals than the Market.

Talvella vähän hiljainen mutta kesällä runsas tarjonta sekä kahviloita löytyy, ystävällinen palvelu sekä hyvin parkkitilaa autoille

Old and kind of smelly, but your usual fresh vegetables, meat, and poultry are available. Some miscellaneous stalls like clothes. I heard they're building a new market?

Many fine things to choose from here.

Good old-fashioned outdoor market with great variety of fruit & veg. Lots of clothes stalls also, 'not the most fashionable though. Big old indoor market building also with meats, fish, cheese and other foods. Looks like it's in for a big overhaul and renovation soon, if the signs are true. Worth a visit!

Crowded and not very clean. Parking can be a big issue. Public toilet was locked, and stayed locked after dropping the required coin into the lock. If you have time- visit Nõmme Turg instead.

Where Estonian grandma's get their groceries. More run down but cheaper marketplace than balti jaam. Did not see any mushrooms being sold tho they should be in season :0

Kesturg is a market place with varieties of vegetables, fruits, meat, and even affordable clothing. I specially like it because I get some of my home (Nigerian) food stuffs from there. I was able to buy Ewedu, fresh corn, small pepper (rodo) and even okro from this market.

Go there before it gets renovated 😁

It's not a modern market, rather a very nostalgic one. You can buy fresh fruit, weird clothes and sinfully delicious greasy pies (try meatpie - lihapirukas and jam pie - moosipirukas) here. The latter were the reason for my visit.

It’s a humble little market selling, at in May, lots of imported fruit and veg. More a market for the locals. I highly recommend you save the journey and head to the amazing artisan market located in the north west of Tallinn.

Why not finally bring this market place to similar level with Nõmme and Balti Jaam markets?

This is one of the farmer's markets in Tallinn where you can get all the foodstuffs at a good price and even cheaper. This guy has the cheapest price for meat and stuff, you can check him out some days

Keskturg is a place where you can teleport back in time to the 90s. The place is dirty and badly maintained. Rusty booths and people selling stuff from the back of cars. Good thing is that you can get good fresh produce there and the sellers are all friendly. The prices can be cheaper too!

I went a little late but there were still vendor points that were opened. I was able to get all that I wanted for good prices.
