We stayed in a superior room for 2 nights. On arrival you are greeted by the very professional reception staff who will take your bags up to your room when it is ready. We arrived quite early on the morning ferry from Helsinki but the staff kindly offered us a place to change into warmer weather clothes so we could go off and start exploring the city while our room was prepared. Our bags were stored for us in a reception cloakroom and we were given a complimentary drink of our choosing as a welcome, which was very much appreciated in the hot weather. The room was on the first floor and had a dual aspect view along the old town streets. The bathroom was huge and kept very clean - the bath had water jets if you wanted to have a spa-type relaxing soak. Decor is 'classic' rather than modern and could be considered slightly dated, but actually works well in the context of the hotel and it's location in the old quarter of the city. There's a great outdoor seating area for enjoying some drinks and doing a spot of people-watching. The included buffet breakfast has a large selction of items and the coffee is nice and strong! A very nice hotel which has the 'personal touch' feel to it.

Went to the restaurant in the hotel. Amazing food! Had the fried perch and all flavours were adding up so well together. Finished with a waffle with ice cream that made it all perfect!

We had a chipped nail on the lamp and the room was overall pretty old and had a very strange smell. You also hear the people from upstairs which is very annoying if you're on vacation. We truly don't understand how this is a five star hotel. Staff didn't even ask for feedback after we checked out. We stayed in several places in Tallinn with less stars, but this was by far the worst. For this price and the 5 stars you would expect something else. It was more of a two star hotel. I can only give one star because of the area. It's in the old town of Tallinn.

Great boutique hotel in Tallinns centre. Warm hospitality with typical Estonian touches. Excellent hospitality with proper breakfast service. Room 506: the shower is not designed for middle to large size guests.

Let's start with the positives. the room and hotel overall are spotless, seriously it was top notch clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable and the location is excellent. Close to shops, museums and restaurants. The staff are professional. The negatives, the rooms could use refreshing and there is a slight unpleasant smell that comes and goes in the bathroom. The breakfast has a nice variety but unfortunately the quality just wasnt there. Having said all of that, for the price of the room, location + breakfast, its of fair value. The hotel would be better off marketing themselves as 3 stars, then there is no unrealistic expectations.

Really great hotel! Even through difficult corona situation the host was amazing! I arrived early to the hotel but after a quick call the owner came in and let me check-in early and looked after me whole stay! The Staff is really amazing and helpful as well.

This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. It started off with no one at the reception during my arrival at 18:30, and I had to wait for at least 10 minutes before anyone showed up. The staff who showed up had really poor English skills, making it almost impossible to understand what she was trying to say. To this day, I'm unsure if breakfast was included in my reservation or not. Probably not, because she mentioned something about the breakfast costing hundreds of euros (I'm not sure about the real cost; she used numbers I had never heard before, containing the word "hundred"). Walking up the stairs to get to my room, I was immediately hit by a stench of urine. Unfortunately, the smell did not subside in the room but only got worse, especially in the bathroom. The room itself was its own kind of disaster. The water pressure in the shower was non-existent, no real body soap was provided, the towels did not soak up any water (this was a first for me as well), and the door handles were sticky. The furniture in the room felt like it was lifted straight out of a museum. The carpet looked really dirty, making me not want to put any of my luggage or belongings on the floor. This, combined with the strong smell of sewage, made me feel nauseous and immediately want to leave again. Apart from two desk lamps, there was no real light in the room. Ironically, during the night, the room didn't get dark, since the blinds don't cover the entire window, letting the light of the streetlights in. The "mattress" (the 5cm foam thing you might know from the cheapest of hostels) was way too hard. It is currently 2023, so I would expect some kind of possibility to charge my devices and accessories (phone, watch, power bank). This was made almost impossible since the only available power outlet (not even close to the bed, by the way) was broken. There was the option to disconnect the minibar or one of the antique lamps to get some much-needed electricity. I went with option 2. In the end, I decided to spend the night at the 50€ hostel next door, which far surpassed all my expectations and everything Savoy had to offer. It's quite crazy when you think about it. After complaining the next day, they gave me another room, which didn't have the smell issues. Everything else stayed the same more or less, with an added bonus of a long hair from the previous person in the bed. I think I forgot to mention one thing: This is a five-star hotel we are talking about. For anyone reading this: Do yourself a favor and avoid booking a room in this place. It is clearly a rip-off, trying to siphon your tourist euros for subpar or nonexistent quality/standards.

Loistava ja ystävällinen palvelu, sympaattinen pieni hotelli, kysykää aamiaisella erilliseltä listalta vohveleita tai munakasta, ainakin meille kuului hintaan

It's nice hotel, but it's not a 5* hotel. Excellent location with poor breakfast. Helpfull, but uneven level of hosts service. Nice rooms with comfortable beds, but awful lightining...etc. etc...

Stored luggage here upon arrival before room was ready. Service is top notch. Breakfast is the best hotel breakfast I'd had during my Baltic travels. Room was clean. Location is great. Would stay here again.

This was easily the best hotel I've stayed at in Tallinn so far. Everything worked so smoothly and the staff was always kind and helpful. All the things in the hotel was beautiful and tidy, including the charmful cosy rooms and overall decor. The rooms had a beautiful view and the food and drink assortment is really good in the hotel. But the best of all was the location: in Old town but still a bit hidden from the largerst crowds on a side street. It was a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the Christmas market square.

I want to say thanks for the organization of the Savoy restaurant (and Savoy hotel). There was a small misunderstanding at the restaurant on a dinner during Tallinn Restaurant Week and the management offered a quick and pleasant solution to the problem. It’s nice that the management is trying to make all clients happy and satisfied.

The location is excellent, particularly for all the bars, restaurants and tourist attractions of the old town. These are all a short walk away. The hotel staff (reception, bar, restaurant, housekeeping) are pleasant, welcoming and helpful, and also speak good English. The hotel has a nice classic decor. The elevator was a nice touch. The rooms are spacious and tidy. Excellent choice for a trip to Tallinn.

I had the suite and was really happy with it. The room was big and clean, totally quiet even though the windows faced out to a busy street and the bathroom with the Spa bath was excellent. Friendly and helpful staff. Close to everything and easy access to the airport with both taxi and public transport.

If you want quiet then this is the place. A small hotel where there is no roomservice outside hours. Restoran was closed too, this really is the only negative. But if quiet needed then this is the place. Also ,located in central tallinn

We stayed at this lovely hotel in May 2023. Anastasia at front desk was very helpful and accommodating and she made our stay much better, the room was perfect - spacious, clean, quiet. We found the breakfast to be wonderful and the staff all very polite. I would return to this hotel any time.

They declare hotel have 5*, realy 3*. Stay for one night on 3rd floor. Unpleasant stench in corridor. Slippers and robe too small, where not able to change. Did not give any discount. Did not issue check. Never come back.

Good location. The hotel is elegant and comfortable, the staff are very nice, but as a 5 star hotel, the cleanliness of the room can be better, such as bathtub. Although the shampoo, lotion are luxurious, the quantity is different everyday. I remember the last day, our room just had one shampoo and one conditioner and no lotion, but we were two person, that make me feel disappointed.

Depending on who you speak to you will receive very good service. Their email correspondent named Kairit was excellent! She replied to all my questions immediately. The breakfast buffet was also superb, but I would have liked to see more variety for vegan eaters.

We stayed at this Hotel one night. From what we saw, this Hotel had a very nice staff, very kind and helpful! The room we got was, in our eyes, ordinary room. As a 5-star Hotel we had expected a pool and a very moder touch on the design and a great view. This Hotel does not have a pool or spa, and it was missing out of small things like a bath on the room and some other stuff for us to choose 5. A good Hotel and a nice staff who will do anything to make your stay as good as possible and thats that.

An okay little hotel in the old town, very good restaurant (try the fish appetizers platter). Rooms are nothing to write home about and the bathroom gets really messy(not enough ventilation and the water goes everywhere from the shower) also mine was missing soap(container was 2/3 empty. Breakfast is mediocre and for whatever reason in a land of saunas this hotel does not have one.

Savoy is a really great hotel: it's located in the heart of Tallinn's old town and is very atmospheric. The rooms are not very big, but sufficient. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is a real highlight - the selection and quality of the food is great. There are always fresh fruits, hot and cold breakfast options and nice desserts. Would definitely recommend Savoy to tourists or business travellers!

We stayed on the 6th floor. It's known as the "Art Floor". FYI, the elevator only goes to floor five, but the hotel staff can help you get your luggage up the last flight of steps, if you need assistance. The room was nice, we had little seating area next to the window. There were delicious chocolates when we arrived, which we found out later are made by the hotel kitchen and can be purchased for £2-£3. Our room had a soaking tub which for a short person may be difficult to climb into, but a step stool is provided. There was a safe in the room and they provided a rob and slippers for us. Shout out to Katya, at the front desk, that gave us some great areas for beautiful views of Old Town. The bathroom in room 601 did have a foul sewer smell that only got worse as the stay continued. I'm not sure if there was some work going on or what, but it was really bad. Regardless of our attempts to prevent it from coming into the whole room, it was a powerful stench.

Really comfortable, beautiful rooms but a bit small. Service in English was fair (not fully fluent staff). The breakfast was astounding though. Also very convenient location for visiting and walking around Old Tallinn

We stayed at this lovely hotel in December 2022. Although we had some setbacks during our stay, the hotel reception took these into account and we had a very nice experience in the end. The breakfast is one of the best in Tallinn hotels, the hotel is on a very optimal location and the service is very friendly. Recommended *****

The location is great. Easy tram from the airport to the hotel, and quite cheap if you took a cab as well. It is within walking distance to major attractions in the Old Town. The rooms and hotel itself I thought was quite old, and not sure if it matches the standards of a 5* hotel. The staff was friendly and great. I did not try the breakfast, as I found the EUR 25 price quite steep.

This hotel markets itself as a premium hotel, definitely not the case: it’s a three star hotel. Good location and decent room overall. However: the staff is rude and unhelpful (Alyona the receptionist), the room is quite small, interiors are a bit shabby and need to be redecorated.

Designed in an old fashioned luxurious style. The breakfast is amazing. The location is superb a few minutes walk from most of the old town sites of interest as well as restaurants.

We went to the restaurant in this hotel. Food was delicious. Especially 🦆. Staff were very helpful and friendly. All the requests were handled fast and without any questions. They have nice fireplace near the reception. Very romantic.
