The rooms at this hotel were decent, but the service left much to be desired. In my years of travel, I haven't encountered service this poor. One of our group requires a gluten-free diet. Most hotels nowadays have provisions for such needs. Estonia, in general, is quite good with this, and many restaurants are inclusive. However, Ibis hotel fell short. When we inquired about gluten-free options, they offered us rice crackers. Yes, rice crackers. Upon a request, one kitchen assistant even rolled their eyes. The manager later assured us that they would have gluten-free bread for the next two days. We questioned this, asking if we should buy some ourselves, but the manager insisted, "Trust me, we will have it, promised!" Come the next morning - surprise, surprise - no bread. Instead, they happily offered us more rice crackers. The rest of the breakfast was equally disappointing. The omelette was shockingly tasteless. Milk, coffee cups or other items were empty or missing. At least they had an abundance of rice crackers. Cleaning of the rooms was hit or miss. One room was left half-done with a trash bag on the floor and an unmade bed. In the other room, the towels seemed to decrease in number. On the positive side, the location was great, within walking distance of the city, and there was parking available, albeit with a strange fee calculation. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this place. Save yourself the hassle and the rice crackers and choose elsewhere.

Perfect stay at this hotel. The room was so spacious and everything looks new and clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is good and complete. The value for money is just incredible. It was nice to get the reward 😊!

Modern rooms that were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good quality. Staff at times seemed a little disinterested in helping but mostly the job got done. About a 20min walk to the old town, although fine it's not in the center.

    - hard bedding and uncompfortable pillows. - no hair dryer - loud AC that is not controllable. - we finished breakfast and went for dessert, such as pancakes and fruits. They were just finished and when we asked for more, the lady from catering said :” we are finishing serving after 15 minutes, try to manage without these”. That was very rude. She told the same to the young lady as well, who also asked for pancakes. I was speechless. + location + parking + coffee and tea 24/7 + clean rooms

I stayed at the IBIS Tallinn for an entire month ( yep… !) and it was the best cost benefit deal I could get. Very clean, modern, comfortable bed, most of the time quiet place. The front desk staff was friendly and really helpful, particularly Mr. Vlad who really has an excellent attitude, service and solution minded. He probably is a top manager, or at least he should be. I strongly recommend this hotel for budget. It’s a convenient 9 minutes walk to city center.

Perfect hotel to stay in your way to or from the airport. It is also conveniently located near the bus station, from where you can explore the many beauties of Estonia. Service is cordial and the place, spotless (as usually is in Estonia). Only downside for me are the carpeted rooms and the artificial plant decorations. For the rest the design details are magnificent, the rooms comfortable and the breakfast really good

We stayed 2 nights in a standard room. For me it is mostly important that the hotel is clean and Ibis delivered. Good tip regarding Über, this helped us a lot moving faster around in downtown and in between the hotel. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

👍🏼 Very good service and friendly staff 👍🏼 Location is great, near bus station and very close to centre 👍🏼 Rooms are very clean and comfy 👍🏼 Coffee and tea in the bar and reception for free 👍🏼 Very nice dining area 👎🏼 A bit overpriced for small room (17m2) 👎🏼 Parking for 1 day is also quite expensive (24h of parking is 10 eur). I wish hotel guests could have it included in the price or at least some discount as you stay in the hotel 👎🏼 Parking does not have a lot of space. Even though we stayed in the hotel, in the evening we could find empty spot and were forced to leave the car in other parking lot 👎🏼 Shampoo and shower gel is not very good

It's more like a basic-hotel. It is very plain, but the rooms are very clean and silent, and the bed is very good. The light button or the cardholder inside the door is very difficult to find when everything is black. There could also be some kind of shoe-rack or something. The entrance and door to the bathroom are so close that it is nearly impossible to get clean feet when you come out from the bathroom. Would have liked more variety in the breakfast restaurant. It was also very, very basic An extra + for the free coffee in the lobby.

The hotel is new and clean. I've had a room with sauna, which was amazing. Breakfast was very tasty. I'll definitely come back here.

Nice hotel, a stone's throw from the centre. Very clean with helpful and friendly staff. Recommend it for both business travelers and those who want to explore the charms of the city centre and its surroundings.

Liked: Very good breakfast. Good location. Nice view from 5th floor. Free electric charging station for customers Disliked: Small room for the price payed Single room with two single beds 🤪 Own parking, underground, expensive

Everything was great (breakfast, cleanliness, service, etc) except the fact that they will charge you for basic things such as dental kit, slippers, etc. On the contrary, they offer unlimited & free hot drinks (coffee, tea) in the lobby which is quite nice.

Blinking fire alarm detector all night, the music in the restaurant/lounge was to much in the morning, should have been more relaxing. Temperature was not so warm in the room. A glass shelf just over the sink in the bathroom limits you to wash your face, water is splashed on the floor.

Super service! Very warm and helpful staff, especially the administrator. Strongly recommend that hotel- they are really customer oriented. The have also nice restaurant with very friendly staff too.

This was a great hotel! Newly renovated with great customer service. It’s literally its own stop on the busses to Tallinn’s historic old town. The staff was great and allowed me to have a late check out. Food was good and prepared quickly. Free espresso bar running 24/7 was a great touch and the drinks were really goodgreat for me, a coffee addict! The staff, the cleanliness and the location right at a bus stop make this modern and comfortable hotel perfect for my weekend stay in Tallinn — I have already recommended to my family and friends!

First of all, the doors to the room don't have pumps. There is so much noise while guests are going in and out. The breakfast was good, and location is Ok. Second was the fact that music is playing outside the Cafe all night.. WAF moment that was .. Third, the beds were terrible.. Conclusion: Pick another hotel

Had a very short stay but it was lovely. The staff member who worked the night of 29-30 July was extremely helpful and kind. The rooms are spacious and clean.

A short walk from the city center. We walked twice, then took Bolt-taxis which were a very cheap solution. Good breakfast for both adults and kids (aged 12,14,16). Had pizzas at the hotel restaurant one night. Pizzas were great, but it took quite long to get them (lack of staff?). Otherwise staff was friendly and helpful. Clean, quiet, modern rooms. Lots of lamps in the rooms for different atmosphere. My daughter loved the make-up mirror with lights. Rooms were nice but it was a bit warm at night though. Great beds! And no bedbugs :)

  • 5/5 Kelian K. 5 months ago on Google
The location is perfect, near the bus station but the city center is also not far away. The hotel itself is new, beautiful and clean 💛 Only small tiny downside in the room - no self in the shower to put your own shower products on. Breakfast is basic and good 👍

I travel for business once per month and often opt for the Ibis. I could stay in more expensive, fancy hotels but this is convenient location and I find I sleep better! The rooms are basic but have everything I need including lots of charging points, hairdryer, shower gel and hand soap and enough space and hangers for 1 weeks work of clothes. Showers are good (could be better water pressure) and the bed is very comfortable. It's one of the few hotels where I do not get any allergies. Breakfast is again basic but has everything I need. It's continental style. I don't normally like the hot food options (generally in hotels) so I opt for ham, cheese, the Estonian black bread and a 4min soft boiled egg along with coffee and orange juice. I like there is a bar with good selection of beer and cocktails. The restaurant food is also very good. I've had the burger (perfect) and the ramen (tasty on a cold day). Overall excellent value for money and friendly staff. There is also a super market round the corner to grab anything you need

It was nice to find a Shuffle chocobar in the room, as I was hungy when I got the room. Gave me an opportunity to turn to most favorite - sleeping - part in minutes after eating the bar. Breakfast was a bit crowded, but manageable. Breakfast (food) as good as ever.

Convenient location, straight bus to the Tallin center. The bus stop is right outside the hotel. The staff made checking in and out easy and seamless. The rooms were clean and simple. Nothing of note, other than the fact that the temperature meter couldn’t be put lower than 20 degrees celcius. So it could get quite hot.

Amazing breakfest, rooms would be five stars if they included a mini fridge. Downstairs there was possibilities to eat and good location, quiet and a good shop about 300 meters away.

It is a nice fresh hotel. We were given a nice surprise with an early check-in, so the arrival was smooth into this great budget hotel with nice modern rooms. The rooms have everything a typical tourist needs for a good sleep and relaxation. We did not miss a thing, so this hotel was super nice option for us with a deal of 69€ per night with breakfasts. The location is only 900m away from the Stockmann department store, so not that far away from the center: Walkable distance. Tram and bus stops are also near. We had a quick bus ride from the hotel to the airport, so it is very nicely located. I would def come back!

Very new and fresh rooms, everything up to a standard. Service, restaurant downstairs, all is great. The only disadvantage is location, there is pretty much nothing around, but solvable by a short walk.

  • 5/5 G I. 1 year ago on Google
The staff in the hotel is very welcoming and helpful. I arrived in Tallinn very late and was welcomed regardless. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean. The buffet breakfast included just enough variety of tasty foods. I would say, I had an excellent stay for the budget hotel. I stayed in Ibis in France, the UK and in some other European countries and must say, that Tallinn's was the best among them.

  • 5/5 Stefan S. 2 years ago on Google
Very friendly staff. Room is clean. The bed is cosy. Breakfast is very tasty and you can choose from various dishes (from cooked meals to pastry or fresh fruits/vegetables). Cafe and tea available for free anytime for guests from the hotel. Parking is available outside or underground for 5 euro per night (cheaper than the parking near Hotel). So overall a very good experience!

Very pleased with my stay. The hotel room is minimal, yet everything necessary is there. The room was very clean. The bed was really comfortable. I loved all the environmentally conscious bits. The breakfast buffee had a really good selection, especially fresh fruit! You can get free coffee all day long. The staff was really friendly, yet competent. One of my best experiences in Tallinn.

I booked a room with a big double bed in advance and was placed in a room with two very small beds. Then I was told that since the hotel was full, there was nothing they could do. The girl at the front desk was super nice. Maybe they should change their system. UPDATE! Got a call the day after from the front desk and they accommodated me in the room I had originally booked! Thank you so much!

Unacceptable treatment by GM Madis Laid at this hotel. I am now forced to write a replacement review that highlights not only my experience at the hotel, but my experience while trying to freely express my thoughts about the hotel on TripAdvisor. - Manager Madis had reported my original review on TripAdvisor because it somehow violated site guidelines, and despite doing all I could to preserve the review, it seems to have been deleted. The initial review wasn’t even a one-star review—and I actually mentioned some POSITIVES to my stay, as I always try to do with my writing. I mentioned how the location in Tallinn is great, and how the staff were mostly friendly when interacting with them (except for when discussing my unique quarantine circumstance). Yet despite my positives, Madis had the audacity to report my review and make it disappear. I will be contacting Ibis and Accor about this very soon, because this is unacceptable to do as a hotel. - Again! Location was excellent, near the airport and the city center. Most staff was friendly and warm. Those are my positives. - Negatives are just a natural part of any experience, and as a hotel manager, they should be taken as opportunities for growth. They should NOT be contested, removed, or criticized. So when I express frustration that the hotel refused to accommodate me more leniently about paying for an unexpected quarantine stay (i.e not letting me take an extra half day to pay), you need to deal with it. You may not like it, but you need to leave it be. - The sanitation measures surrounding COVID-positive guests in the hotel are poor, and I had to remind staff to make sure they cleaned the areas I passed through. Masks are also not always worn by other guests. I do not trust health procedures here. - The room was loud due to something like HVAC noise throughout the day and night, at intermittent times. I’m a light sleeper, so it’s worth mentioning to prepare future guests. - Breakfast was fine, although at first, my scheduled quarantine breakfast meals weren’t what I originally requested (possibly due to a language barrier). However, this smoothed itself out later on. And I said that in my first review as a positive thing, by the way (**problem was solved; breakfast became accurate**). Unfortunately, as I said, I can no longer review this place as 2 stars. Now it deserves only one. It is inexcusable for Madis to report my review like she did and have it deleted. Get ready to hear from Accor.

Room was super nice. Comfy bed and the dark walls with the curtains not letting any light through to the room made it really easy to sleep. Breakfast was average buffet though.

Nice place, good bar and comfortable rooms. Don't drink the tap water though, it contains choroid. Breakfast could be better, but all in all it's decent and good price-performance ratio.

Very clean and modern. Staff was polite and know English. Free coffee and tea. There's a nice bar lounge and mini restaurant on site. They offer breakfast but not free. Location is great and is easy walking distance from many places and you can Bolt for like 3-4€ for most of the main city. Overall great experience :)

New and modern hotel with clean rooms and good breakfast. Room service could be improved, we had a completely empty shower gel upon our arrival. But overall it's provided good value for the money paid. + Free coffee and tea all day for all guests.

We stayed in hotel for one night. Hotel was modern, clean and location was convenient. Free coffee and tea was a nice surprise! I would have given five stars but closing mechanism of the hotel room doors made those quite noisy and that slamming sound woke me up several times during the night.

  • 5/5 Lily 1 year ago on Google
I arrived and found my room to have a pipe broken and leaking, however, within a few minutes, the staff had arranged a solution. It was the cleanest hotel I have ever been in. Staff is really nice. Especially the younger ones. I felt safe and didn't have any issues with volume. Cleaning staff were great at what they did. Only con I would say is the towels felt like sandpaper. My one suggestion would be to have the coffee machines or at least kettles available at least one per floor

Christopher and Mia are hard working employees and very friendly. Enjoyed our stay there, just couldn’t get the AC to cooperate on temp setting. Clean, great breakfast, and really enjoyed Charlie’s corner

The suffix 'Center' was certainly chosen for marketing reasons, because - to be honest - the hotel is almost halfway between the city and the airport, in a 'socialist' housing estate. It's a good 20 minutes' walk to the 'center', but there are several bus lines right in front of the door, as well as the trams to the city and the airport, which can be reached in a footwalk about 8 minutes. The good ratings are certainly also due to the young, very motivated staff. The evening snack bar was also above standard, the cheese platter is 'Best Buy'. But: I had to fight the first 1-2 days with either bed bugs or fleas, sleeping with the window open is impossible, due to traffic noise and the air conditioning makes a lot of noise but does not really cool the room. Although set to 21°, it was still 24.9° in the morning! And there was a long, dark hair on the edge of the toilet as we entered the room. Every time the neighbor let the room door slam shut, wall and bed are shakeing. WARNING: the left luggage is not controlled! Any stranger from outside can enter the hotel and pick any piece of luggage by choice! If you fly with Baltic Air or Scandinavian, you can check in your luggage at the airport any time during the day, Preferably via online check-in and then simply go to the machine at the airport. Alternative: There are enough lockers at the airport as well as at the train station!

The room temperature is pathetic. It is uncontrollable. It automatically shuts the fan, AC down at 22 degrees like there is a power cut every 10 min. The only duvet in the room would add more temperature. So basically, you would be sleeping @ 26 degrees. Actually, you wouldn't sleep coz You would sweat like a pig. It's horrible. I spent 5 sleep less night and the staff didn't care to fix the problem cox the maintenance guy said it's not a problem. It's unimaginable that it's possible to sleep at such temperatures. The fan makes sounds that is so loud that even if you try sleep without your clothes you won't! Horrible horrible horrible!! I wish I could give zero stars for the worst 5 nights that I spent here on a work trip

  • 5/5 hilary b. 1 year ago on Google
Very modern , clean hotel which promotes eco-sustainability . Love the free tea-coffee all day , rooms more than adequate as a base, has great bus links onto trams to get round whole city as well as airport easily enough .

Do NOT go here!! My girlfriend got a food intoxication as a direct result of eating here. The service is absolutely ZERO. First they did not take it serious, so I just had to wait all night until someone could give me some bottled water and extra toilet paper.. In the morning, nothing was possible except for writing my complaints down on a blank paper (which obviously would have been thrown away), the manager did not want to speak to me after several times asking (he clearly did not want to face me because they made up excuses every time, showing the absolutely unskilled manager), I couldn't get anything at all and just had to book full price again if I wanted to make use of the room after check-out time while my girlfriend was not able to come of the toilet! Besides the bad services and intoxicated food the serve, the location of the hotel was not optimal and the hotel rooms were okay but not amazing. Would definitely not recommend to stay in this horrible hotel. I will never book another Ibis hotel anymore because of this one.

Friendly staff, Good parking in the basement for 10euro / night and free tea and Coffee all day was nice option. We also enjoy the nice breakfast. To reach the old town it was only 20min easy walk, great hotel if you arrive with your own car.

Very good hotel for a prize . The rooms are near and pleasent looking. Reception and general staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good but basic. Have option of 3 beds in one room which is such a money saver. Location is great. Bus stand is right outside. Overall, i highly recommend.
