I don't usually give low star reviews, but this has to happen. I booked a "deluxe attic room with a view free breakfast and free parking" on booking.com. When we arrived to check in (that was fine, staff were very helpful) I asked were to park to car for free parking...it was 600M to walk, and 1.5KM in driving as you had to go through a series of one way streets, and would of cost €4 if it wasn't free. Ok not a great start, at least I can enjoy the deluxe attic room that has a view when I finish the walk back....wrong. As soon as we entered the room (which can only be accessed by stairs) my partner and I were very disappointed. It was nothing like the pictures online and despite being the best room type available was not worthy of the term deluxe. Now onto the view (see picture), our room had a tiny window that opened straight into an adjacent wall...that was it a view of a wall 50cm away from the window, oh and a cable tray. We were deeply disappointed and actually felt like we had been ripped off to some degree. My wife ate the free breakfast the next morning and it was very basic, I came down after my shower and the smell alone was enough to put me off eating. I walked to go and get the car and we promptly checked out and left, vowing never to return. I should point out the staff were helpful and this is what the 1 star is for. Minus 1 star for free parking, minus 1 star for the tired stuffy room, minus 1 star for the "view", minus 1 star for the free breakfast. I would not recommend staying here. Spend an extra €20 a night and you can have much much better accomodation in Old Town.

Charming hotel in Tallinn Old town. Built in a really old building, some of the walls must be closed to a metre thick. Nice staff. The breakfast buffe, becomes a great cafe, after breakfast finished. Perfect location. Descent price, and no complains.

Hotell is okay exept for all the bed bug's or what ever they are. Got a refund for the room which is good but had to search for different hotell at 23:45. Bad experience for us, the guy in the reception was understanding and apologised all tho it didn't do us any good.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of the old town. Rooms are a little on the small side, but very clean. Fridge, coffee machine, fan in the room. Breakfast isn't great, but you can go elsewhere to eat. Friendly reception staff, speak good English. Very good value for money.

Rooms can be quite tiny but the location is great, and everything in the hotel works okay.

Quiet hotel, great breakfast, good room service. Small room though and don't know why it's called Garden because there isn't one!!

I am sure I clicked on double room when booking. We booked on lastmin. We was given two single beds. They on a wall not even next to each other. They could see we was a couple booking. After spending time moving all the furniture around to put the beds together we was happy enough. We was not going to complain. The hotel staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. Some times the room was on the hot side, Acually made me feel a bit ill as it was so hot. Breakfast was ok. They also allowed us to use the luggage room as we was being picked up late which was nice. The best thing about the hotel was the location. Spot on to where we wanted to be. No night noise, so slept well. All in all I would recommend this hotel. The price you pay you can not go wrong really. If you want something a bit more fancy this hotel is not at all for you. Not all floors accessible by the lift so walking up a lot of stairs can be a possibility.

Lovely atmosphere. Wonderful food in restaurant.. very helpful staff. Right in the heart of Old Town. Only minor issue is parking is 0.5 km walk away from hotel.

Really cool hotel in the middle of old town. The rooms are very cool as they are based on a building made hundreds of years ago. Definitely recommend

Mukavan tunnelmallinen paikka Vanhassakaupungissa.

Good location for the old town. Plentiful breakfast and we also had dinner in the restaurant one night. Beds and room were comfortable. Shower ended up wetting the bathroom and there was a terrible smell in the bathroom. Limited bathroom products. Very quiet room though.

I was here for one night. I came to Tallin and stayed here, but I didn't know where should I go: in the hostel or hotel. The prices were very high anyway. So, almost at midnight, I have booked a room at the app (at the same time, i have tried to find this place with navigation). Very small room for one person. 108 euro. At the registration, I asked a charger, and the man gave me, so I could use it until the morning. The breakfast was from 7 to 10 o'clock. Not bad, not good. Normal. And then, if you want to sleep or lie on the bed after your breakfast, you can stay in your room until 12.

A very very well priced hotel in the old town section. About 500 m from a train station and close to restaurants , shops and general good things to see. Did I mention very very well priced😬

Ehkä kuluneisuuttaa jossakin nähtävissä mutta palvelu loistavaa, aamiainen tosi hyvä, ei oikeastaan löytynyt valittamista mistään, menisin uudestaan jos yövyn vanhassa kaupungissa

Charming hotel with character at a really central location in the old Town. Clean bathroom and with an OK breakfast. The towel racks are for some reason right on top of the toilet making them practically useless. Responsive employees in requests. The personalized welcoming note in the room was a very nice touch.

I have traveled to Tallin on a few occasions and this is honestly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive. The receptionist could not be more kind and assertive- such a sweet person. The restaurant has a fantastic menu with a great atmosphere. The duck was delicious and the citrus salmon looked amazing. The standard room is a perfect size and it’s cleanliness is top notch. The breakfast has great variety and I loved all the options. I would choose to stay at this hotel again next time in Tallin. It’s a true gem 💎 in the Old town!

Very nice hotel with a very good location. Our room was a very large basement room. Mobile internet duffered a bit in the basement. Breakfast ok but could be more plentiful. Would visit again.

A lovely little boutique hotel that is incredibly well situated for exploring Tallinns old town ... really friendly staff who speak very good English and are happy to help ... Great selection for breakfasts and a really nice menu for traditional/local meals in the restaurant Would have scored a five but the rooms are a bit dated ... entirely adequate and certainly comfortable, just in need of a bit of modernising

The hotel was everything we wanted it to be. We had to pack our bags up the flights of stairs and down the hall to our room...go figure no elevator in a such an old building. Once inside the room we were elated. The room was clean, comfortable and as we are not the type who travel to sit in our room it was everything we could ask for and more. This room, this hotel had so much character that we we awed at every passage we went down. A narrow window at the far end of our room overlooked the courtyard and provided us with an excellent perch upon and to look out at the night time sky . It also was a great place from which to take some amazing photos. If you are looking for a Disney experience go to Disneyland. If you want to stay in a centuries old hotel and imagine all the people who had come and gone before you then I highly recommend this hotel and Tallinn.

Very cozy hotell with small rooms. The bathroom design was a bit funky with the toilet after the shower making it impossible to have dry feet. The breakfast is OK, coffee could have been better and some more love into everything would give it that extra star. Over all a good deal for the money with great location.

Excellent location. Old building with wooden staircases and funny angles. Breakfast was ok. Worth to try in Tallinn.

Avoid it. Although location is superb (except for noisy night-life enjoyers and parking spot a healthy 5 minutes walk away). We took a deluxe room at the top floor were you could only get up to by stairs, which sounds fun, but it is isnˇt. The view was so so, as could basically look on to a wall across the street. Shower is just a shower stuck on the wall, with a loose, cheap curtain. No bath. The cheapest toilet paper I have ever seen. Seriously? You cheap out even on toilet paper? The toilet/bath room ventilation could not be shut off even if the room card is removed and it was quite loud. Despite it blasting through the night we had to open the window on full, just let in some air. The bed... too soft, but clean. Except there was an old matrass behind it. It was clearly visible if sit in a chair. Donˇt know what the breakfast was, because we went to another place for it. A good decision, as I read the other reviews here. They didnˇt even have the vase for flowers at the reception! The flowers I bought for my wife for anniversary had to be stored in an old, dirty ceramic bucket. This really sums up the level of service you get. Now that the good times for Old Town hotels are over, I hope this one goes bankrupt and forgotten quickly.

The stay in the Meriton was just perfect. People working at the reception just made my stay in Tallinn very friendly and comfortable. Breakfasts are good, and the quality for the price is just right. The localisation is just fantastic!

Nice little hotel in the city center. There is free parking not far from the hotel (just ask at the hotel) Rooms are small but cozy, everything is new. Bed was big and comfortable Breakfast in the restaurant downstairs, simple but tasty Minus: bad sound insulation and no air-conditioning Overall: perfect hotel for such price
