The best hotel in Tallinn. This hotel had been preserved to an ancient style yet the rooms, beds and breakfast are by far the best. The hotel is located in Old City where its closed access to everything (sight seeing, stores, and other ammenities). Art and Elizabeth had been amazing with their services, and I had a wonderful conversations with them. I highly recommend this hotel! 10/10 star ✹

Perfect location, but mediocre rooms. Steep staircase, no elevator

Great location, right in old town. We did not have a chance to try the restaurant as we did not reserve a table early enough, but all guests said that the restaurant is great. Breakfast is perfect, with lots of selection. The building is a nicely renovated 600 year-old structure. The staff is wonderful. I would definitely stay here again.

Keskeinen sijainti vanhassa kaupungissa, mutta mekkalaa kaduilta öisin. Huoneessa huono ilma, pidettiin ikkunaa yöt lÀpeensÀ auki. Onneksi ei ollut pakkasta. Ei hissiÀ, vain muutamia huoneita. Huone itsessÀÀn viehÀttÀvÀ ja siisti. Matkaseuralaisilla sviitti, jossa haisi koko ajan viemÀri. Aamiainen hyvin vaatimaton hintaan ja tÀhtiluokitukseen nÀhden. Herkulliset kroisantit kumminkin.

Junior suite beautiful and spacious but little storage for clothes. No hand shower in the toilet! Excellent and personal service in the restaurant and overall. Location easily 5⭐ for fans of Old Town setting. Bicycle storage secured in the yard.

We loved our stay in this historic hotel, right in Old Town. Excellent breakfast, extremely helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant and thoroughly enjoyed goats cheese risotto. Highly recommended this hotel and the restaurant.

Basically everything was fine: Very kind service, excellent breakfast and the hotel is in the heart of the Old Town. Only the room I was in was very small and down in the basement. But the advantages of the hotel compensate for this little "minus".

I had the pleasure of staying at the CRU Hotel during my visit to Tallinn, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel, nestled within a 600-year-old historic house, exudes a charming ambiance that's hard to find elsewhere. The quaint rooms transported me back in time while offering modern comfort, making my stay incredibly cozy and memorable. One of the thoughtful touches that stood out was the provision of complimentary bottled water, tea, and coffee in the room. The attention to detail was evident, as these amenities were not only provided but also replenished daily, ensuring that my every need was catered to. It's the small gestures like these that truly set CRU Hotel apart. The hotel staff was a true highlight of my stay. The warmth and friendliness they extended made me feel like a valued guest, and their dedication to ensuring a comfortable stay was palpable. From the moment I stepped through the door to the time of my departure, I was met with exceptional service that left a lasting impression. Another wonderful aspect of my stay was the location of my room. Situated in the old Town and just a two-minute stroll away from the main Plaza, it offered a peaceful sanctuary away from the hustle and bustle. The serenity of the night was undisturbed by noises, allowing for a restful sleep that added to the overall quality of my stay. In summary, CRU Hotel provided me with a truly enchanting experience. From the cozy rooms in the historic house to the thoughtful amenities, friendly staff, and tranquil ambiance, every aspect of my stay was carefully curated to ensure comfort and satisfaction. If you're seeking an authentic and unforgettable stay in Tallinn, I wholeheartedly recommend CRU Hotel. It's a five-star gem that captures the essence of the city's rich history and hospitality.

Brilliant hotel with lovely rooms and breakfast! Breakfast was mainly continental but with some fried eggs, bacon and sausages if desired as well! The room was well equipped with a ginormous bathtub which was an unexpected plus. We also can fully recommend the restaurant - we had the 5 course taster meal and it was the best meal of the holiday! Fully recommended!

We stayed in Cru for 3 days in mid April. The location is perfect, it's close to Viru gate (close to bus/tram stops, especially tram 4 from airport) and pretty much close to everything in Old Town. Breakfast is standard fare, sufficient but nothing more than that. There are selection of warm dishes (fried egg, meatballs, bacon) and cold dishes: muesli, bread topping, milk, some pastries. They had vegan milk on the first breakfast we had, but no more, but I assume that you could ask to have it provided. The room is clean and OK-sized, with a good size refrigerator if you buy drinks from outside. The only problem we had was it was quite warm in the room (we could open the window, so no problem there) but I could imagine that it could be too hot in the summer. Another problem was the lack of trash can in the bedroom, there's only a small one in the bathroom. Otherwise, it was a nice hotel. The hotel is in an old house, so don't carry heavy luggage, since there's no elevator. We had backpacks, so we didn't have problem but we saw some people who had to drag their suitcases upstairs and that was hard.

Well it was cheap but the standard on the rooms are very low. Worn down, bad beds.. upgrade if you can.

Stayed here 4 days with my wife. Located in the old town it is a perfect spot to stay. Rooms and the building itself are really nice and an attraction for itself. Staff is very friendly and breakfast is amazing. Dont miss the dinner in the CRU restaurant on the ground floor. I really recommend staying here when visiting Tallinn

Super cosy and well appointed rooms, atmospheric and historic building in the heart of the old town. Friendly check in staff, perhaps the owner, and other hotel staff. We would have loved to try the restaurant within the hotel but so many dining options to tempt you everywhere you turn in Tallinn. Fantastic stay and would highly recommend.

We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful time. The staff was friendly and professional. The room was the coziest hotel room I have ever been to. It was also very clean. Breakfast was small but had everything you wish for, including delicous home made bread. Tip: Don't miss out on the restaurant in the hotel.

Lovely quaint hotel right in centre of old city. Long walk to room so wouldn't suit anyone infirm. Overlooking courtyard so no view. Excellent breakfast. Cooked and cold foods

We had a great time staying at the Cru hotell. The room was small but really clean. We really enjoyed the breakfast and dinner at the cru restaurant and the location was simply amazing. The hotel is located in the middle of the old town so we could walk everywhere. Definitely recommend coming here if you are into historic buildings, good food and looking for a central hotel in Tallinn.

Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Rooms get kinda warm but they're cute and tiny. Love the winding building. My view was trash cans and a store but it didn't really matter cause we spent the day and night out on the town! Just got judged a little being young. did enjoy my stay and it's right in oldtown next to everything.

Really nice hotel with an amazing restaurant. Friendly and service minded staff and cool interior design and architecture. The only minus was the smell in the corridor outside room 6 where it smelled like a leakage of some kind..All in all a great hotel in the middle of old town.

A small hotel in the heart of Tallinn old town. Very clean and quiet rooms in a house about 500 years old. The special place you see very seldom. Very friendly personnel makes you feel comfortable and welcome. We will come again. We warmly recommend!

Best location possible, service A+, room really good for the price. Would recommend to anyone who want to stay in old town.

What a lovely hotel. So much character, the rooms were great, comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect as it was in the old town but only a few mins walk to the bus and tram stations. Would definitely come again.

A labyrinth-like, wonderful hotel! The rooms are very quiet since they do not seem to be next to each other and the old town does not have much traffic. One of the best places I’ve been to, gotta come back!
