Alright people, we gotta talk! I've been to some hostels in my days, I know that I should not expect too much! But what you guys "offer" your clients...wow! It's hard to find a thing to start with! Almost as hard as finding your place.. might help to put a sign outside that people actually can see. After walking 3 flights of stairs you arrive to the main area, to meet the not very motivated guy at the so called reception (for a good first impression you guys might want to clean the desk every once in a while. The sound the sleeves of my jacket made when I moved my arms from your desk was like when you open a velcro fastener). He didn't even know if our room was already paid for, although the hostel took the money just 2 days before. Shouldn't you guys write that down somewhere? But hey, no problem, I just check my bank account and give you the proof. While we're at it, let's talk about money. 60Euros a night for 2 people in a double room in the middle of the city is totally fine- if you get anything for it. In your case- how do you justify that amount of money? Surely not by the salary of the cleaning staff! Or if so- fire them, they are screwing you over! Or maybe it is for the live music on the club/bar downstairs. I love people having a good night on the terrasse in a warm summers night, don't get me wrong. But when it sounds like the Wehrmacht is bombing the town until 4 in the morning while the whole building is shaking- at least let people know before (this way you can plan your stay in a way, that you might just visit the club, because you can't sleep anyway...). Planing the trip: if some of you people reading this while you plan your trip and you consider staying in this place just know- it might not be easy to cook there. There are signs to wash your dishes and clean after your self. But apparently nobody does and the people working there don't give a s***! It is just plain disgusting. Almost as disgusting as the shower.. the hair that obviously someone pulled out of the outflow was laying on the ground next to the shower the whole time we were guests at your place. Are you waiting until it starts moving Itself? If so- nice job guys, the way it looked when we left it should happen soon. When it wants to escape the bathroom then your little hair-mushroom-animal shouldn't have a problem with the slim wallpaper"door" of yours. I bet it's really nice in there in Winter?! If you readers now think why this guys here is whining now like a sissy, why didn't he speak up Before? Well, I did! But of course the boss wasn't there (looks like he's just around collecting the cash), so I had to talk to one of this young lads running the place. So we told him everything and concerning him, he gave our complainment to the big chief. We asked what the boss responded. The poor guy at the desk just shrugged his shoulders, smiled shyly and said nothing. I asked him: "he didn't give a f***, did he?". He just smiled. So, dear owner of this place: you, sir, are a cheat, and the place you're running is simply aweful, dirty, disgusting and a disgrace to the beautiful town of Tallinn and for sure a case for the health office. The accommodation business is surely not your thing, but ripping off people you are very good at ! Congratulations! With my warmest regards Marc de la Haye Bonn, Germany

The worst hostel in Europe! We had bitten by bed bugs during our stay at the dorms that made the sleep unpleasant coz the itchiness. The bathroom are clogged and dirty, toilets are cramped & the waste are left overnight. The kitchen is awfully dirty that after we wash the dishes, we need to microwaved them to make sure kill all germs. The fridge is smelly. Beware there is no elevator in the building, so prepare to climb steep & slippery stairs to 5th floor. The location is good (the only good thing about the hostel), but you still can hear the loud music from the pubs down there, yes lots of pubs in the same road. Plus, they moved us from one building to another that means we had to climb up and down bringing our luggages again & the staff are drunk and partying in the lobby while chasing the guests to another hostel. Spend more for hostel in Tallinn rather than staying at this ghettto!

Don't go. It's dirty, there's no hot water, I could see rats from the bedroom window (which btw was broken, stopping the heater to work properly) and it was impossible to use the kitchen due to the bad cleaning situation. I also got a cough because of the dust/mold in the bedroom. Plus, I didn't feel safe at all as a solo female traveler. At least the guy at the reception was nice and gave me a single room even though I booked a bunk bed and the location was good.

Nice place, the atmosphere is very friendly. Looks like some cosy art space; good for students. Location and price are perfect. In general, I felt very comfortable there

Paid extra to get into a room of 4 instead of 6, in the end there were 5 people sleeping in the room. It was way too hot in the night. Service was a bit unclear. Good for people on low budget and who just need a place to stay at overnight. No idea how the smaller and more expensive rooms are, though. Probably not staying again.

Creepy place. Unsafe, no place to leave luggage except for room where anyone can look through it. In my bed sat a random person when I was away for few minutes. Stairway was scary. Next door club didn't allow to sleep. Breakfast? Disgusting. Dishes dirty. Toilets constantly without paper. Showers - nightmare, dirty and that climb... Staff rarely there or if they're there, sit doing nothing when there are so many things they should clean.

We got lucky with our roommates, but otherwise we would've felt a lot less at ease. All the lockers were/are unavailable, there were no windows leading outside in our part of the building, including the common room. The staff was helpful and as a place to sleep it sufficed. My bed was busted, though, so I nearly fell through... I had heard rumors of bedbugs, but we didn't see any. I met some interesting people and it was in a great location, so it was easy to explore the whole city

A perfectly located hostel with very friendly stuff. Feels like home. Don’t forget to ask them for advice on places to eat, dance and walk, to get most out of your visit.

Good place to stay for a short visit, the staff are really nice, but they are not enough to run the hostel. The rooms' floor need to be cleaned. The breakfast (included) is pretty basic, but still good considering the price. The hostel has a small kitchen and a medium size living room with some couchs and board games.

Nothing really fancy, one of the worst price/performance hostels I have ever been to. Official photos on booking and so are from real place, but looks ten times better than it is in reality. Our room had only one window, that couldnt been even opened to let air in, you could clearly hear people from neighbouring apartment (not another hostel room). Cleanliness so-so. Staff seems like doing their job somehow but looking bored and annoyed whole time. Only plus is the location, but since Tallinn is small city and public transport is really cheap, that even doesnt matter that much. Looking back, you can do much better for the same price, do not recommend.

The hostel is relatively decent and relatively clean, but the real problem was the club right next to it that played extremely loud music all night long, so loud not even earplugs and closed windows helped. If you plan on sleeping at night, don't go to this hostel.

Nice hostel in a rough (or "old and not to much renovated" but clean and intact) style. Comfortable with very helpful personnel. Premium location in the middle of the old town of Tallinn.

Never, never, NEVER AGAIN!!! Absolutely awful experience! I warn everyone who is considering this accommodation. Under the room is a club that plays VERY loudly until 4:30 in the morning; the toilet is broken and in almost unusable condition (the board was crunched and stuck in the air); You have to preprare your beds on your own and the sheets have strange spots. Staff is very unfriendly, WiFi is not functioning at all, showers are scary. This was the worst hostel I've ever been to. Please, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS HOSTEL, because otherwise you'll regret.
