This is a one of the gate for Alessandra Katedral.

Beautiful walk along the city wall along the presidential palace as well as some old buildings. Perfect for a evening stroll and there's quite a bit of elevation changes and stairs so wear some comfortable shoes. You can get some good clicks if you have good lighting in a sunny day. There are some shops also to do some suvernior shopping including some art galleries as well. You can even go to the back garden of the presidential palace which I though was nice. If you go below the city wall there's a nice part where you can have a nice picnic or just relax on a bench.

More impressive view coming down the street rather than up it, as at the bottom it's just surrounded by souvenir shops.

We did this as part of an old city tour. The wall walk provides a view of Tallinn as well as looking into the old town. The presidential palace is also visible from the wall. It was under renovation at the time July '18 which limited access to some areas

Nice place, nearly all Tallin is worth walking around sightseeing.

Mehän sahattiin pitkin poikin vanhaa kaupunkia ja Toompeanmäkeä. Ylös, eikun alas, mennäänkin taas ylös ja heti täytyy päästä alas, kuinkas me nyt kuitenkin päädyttiin taas ylös? Aika sokkeloista, mutta ei siitä sen enempää. Pikk jalg eli Pitkänjalankatu on yksi selkeästi tunnistettavista kaduista. Jos haluat olla tehokkaampi, niin käänny heti Neitsyttornin jälkeen oikotielle joka johtaa Lyhyenjalan kujalle - sekin on seikkailu sinänsä. Itse pääsen Pitkänjalanportin tornin kohdalla taas "kartalle" (eli pärjään hetken ilmankin karttaa). Pitkänjalankadulla on marraskuussakin yksiseinäisiä ja taivaskattoisia "taidegallerioita" turisteille; kauppa se on joka kannattaa. On kiva kohta vanhaa Tallinnaa!
