Please give me a👍 if helpful. The Tallinn TV tower is a must to visit and if you've bought a Tallinn card you can use it here for entry. It's not particularly far from Tallinn centre but you will need a taxi or public transport to get there. The tower has a collection of historic old radios on show inside. The lift seems very fast and takes you to an eatery serving coffee and snacks and it has a wonderful panoramic view. Take a few steps up some stairs to reach another viewing platform with 360° views and interesting interactive displays. There are also glass portholes in the floor giving you an unrestricted view of the ground many metres below your feet. You can also head outside for an even better view. Fantastic experience👍

Kinda expensive (€12) for what it is but the views are still pretty impressive. The girl who did our photos on the green screen with kidna purple silver hair was so lovely to us and made us feel super welcome!

Wonderful place to spend a couple hours and get a magnificent view of Tallinn. There are rotating exhibitions, the balcony on the 22nd floor and a restaurant. We decided to have lunch there and were pleasantly surprised. The food was amazing. Do however find out about ticket options before going up. There is a ticket option that includes a three course meal, and it makes sense to buy that.

Tried the two course business lunch that was 37 € including the entrance fee to the tower. Tartar was okay or good. Not sure. Burger had a nice bun but had too much mayonnaise and hence the bottom part of the bun was moist. Service is good and above the typical level that you get in Estonia. Views are nice.

This is an awesome tower. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 as I feel it should be cheaper for the entrance fee. The tower itself is cool to go up and get really good views of Tallinn. There is some things to look at before you go which tell of the history of the place. When you get up to the viewing area you can see the different names of the places in the world on the floor and also glass port holes to see a view of below. When you walk up the stairs to the restaurant area you can go outside and see the view even more so and get a nice fresh breeze at the same time. You could probably spend a good 30/40 mins at this attraction. Don’t really need much more time than that. There is a gift shop at the ground level before you exit the tower.

If you're looking for a family-friendly attraction in Tallinn, Estonia, I highly recommend a visit to the Tallinn TV Tower! My recent visit with my kids was an unforgettable experience that left us all in awe. First of all, the views from the tower are simply breathtaking. You can see the entire city of Tallinn and even beyond on a clear day. It was a great opportunity for my kids to learn about geography and see the world from a different perspective.

Sadly it didn't left big impression. Yup, view from the top floor is amazing, Tallinn city is like on your hand, clean and tidy place. Half of interactive equipment ain't working. So why to keep it? And price for the ticket is 15€.

Nice place to visit. I don’t know about regular prices but with visit Tallinn card it’s free and this way I strongly recommend. You can have a very fast lesson about Tallinn and see every place you learn about from a distance.

I think it’s an interesting place, you will be able to see beautiful landscape of Tallinn and the see. However, I think it’s a little bit overpriced given it is only the view and there’s no more to do (15€, 10€ students ticket) There’s also a restaurant on top.

Main attraction in case of such buildings is of course enjoying the view but that is not all. There is lot of information about how this TV tower was built and its role in television development in general. It sure was a significant achievement during those dark times. This tower also is also important landmark in the process Estonia regaining its independence. You can visit the tower just by going there and buying the ticket. But when you pre-book a tour with the guide, you can get into places you would not get with your regular ticket. Check the website for more info. Really cool place to visit. It will take many hours if you want to get all the info it has to offer.

A very cool attraction 30-40mins away from the city center. The ticket is 13€ with discounts for family or students. You can also buy the combo ticket with the Botanical garden very close by. With a different ticket you can also have a walk on the edge of the tower connected to a safety line but basically free from fences or glass. Amazing panorama over the whole Estonia and with a clear sky you can actually see Finland. Strongly recommended at the sunset.

It's cool that you have option to go outside for now, but too much children around. Every time. Maybe it would be nice to offer some grown up groups, for time to time. Place is beautiful, even romantic, but kids running around with no interest towards the beauty of the hight is just a bummer...

The TV tower itself is a pretty standard experience... you go up an elevator and get a great view. Be sure to look down through one of several glass lookout circles cut into the floor for a sense of vertigo. The best part was the zip line set up on the lawn outside the TV tower along with other playground equipment... amazing for kids or those young at heart (and lightweight).

A stunning view awaits. Friendly staff, interesting shop and a spacious viewing gallery. Enjoy strolling round and seeing a view of Tallin that makes the taxi or bus ride well, we'll worth it!

It was amazing to be on top of this tower and see the bird eye view of Tallinn. There is no additional entry fee if you've got the Tallinn pass. The staff was very helpful. A lift takes you to the top in no time. This tower has an interesting history. I loved spending time on the very top just outside the rooftop hotel. Would love to come here again someday.

This tower is 314 m. high. The place i beautiful, historical and the exhibitions is informative and there are interactive elements to ensure learning for the visitors. I visited the tower with my mom (age 69) and son (age 17). I took a walk on the safe side of the fence, and my son and mother paid for a walk on the "dangerous" side. We all enjoyed the day, and the instructor/guide (Laura) was really kind.

Fantastic view of the skyline in Tallinn. 2 days later we watched the tower in daylight from the Botanic Garden.

Great place to go in Talin. Old town is a bit far, so almost no good views on it. But overall is nice, you can step outside on the balcony

Great view of Tallinn if the visibility is there, but still looks an amazing even in foggy conditions!!

I'd suggest to go before evening so you can enjoy the sundowner. Students get a discount!

  • 4/5 Farokh S. 1 year ago on Google
Cool touristy place in Tallinn, very well organized and fun, especially for little children. They have fun educational games for both kids and tourists. The tickets are very expensive though. The view is amazing.

  • 4/5 Dr Adrian V. 2 years ago on Google
Unique attraction in Tallinn and well worth a visit. Obviously choose a nice day so that you can make the most of the amazing views from the top. There is much to see as well as the views with interesting displays to read. The Virtual Reality experience is well worth doing (at extra cost of Eur5). The surrounding parkland and playground is also good for children. The only slight negative worth losing a star for is that the cafe at the top is quite expensive. The prices in the shop at the bottom though are average for tourist attractions.

Nice little museum and gift shop. Great appreciation of the role that media played, both during the Soviet era to disseminate propaganda but again when Estonia was regaining its freedom and trying to regain control of the airwaves.

  • 5/5 Mera Z. 2 years ago on Google
Really recommend visiting this place if you ever come to Tallinn! It was nice to see the view on the tower. In my opinion the prices were good. You can check out the souvenir shop, go on the balcony or get something to eat from it’s resturant. I overall enjoyed going there for my trip.

  • 4/5 Jelle ten B. 3 years ago on Google
Entrance is too pricy, restaurant on top floor offers hi quality but expensive food in a great ambiance and, of course, a great view. The exhibition about DNA is not worth to visit, why wasting my time with that? Better show history and technical info about the tower itself. Good toilets on exhibition (top) floor.

Views were great, but the digital interactive points didn't seem to be checked or maintained as some had frozen and become unresponsive, others had crashed and dropped out into Windows. The souvenir shop was good. Transport there was cheap on the 34 bus from Kadriog to the Teletower

  • 5/5 Jenny L. 4 months ago on Google
Spent an hour or so at the TV Tower. It was really quiet and we practically had the place to ourselves. The virtually reality headset is good fun, for 5 Euros you can fly around the outside of the tower.

  • 5/5 Steven De B. 5 months ago on Google
Pricy attraction but worth it for the views of the city. We went in the evening and the lights of Tallinn, the harbour and much further away are a beautiful sight.

  • 5/5 E D. 5 months ago on Google
A very fun experience, we got to climb the tower and got a great view over Tallinn! It was very windy on the deck but cool that you could go outside and get a good view as well.

Upeat maisemat. Kovalla tuulella torni heiluu. Nyt oli noin 20m/sekä ja tornin heilui noin 40cm. Ulos ei päästy vaan oli katseltavaa maisemia sisältä. Kahvi oli hyvää.

  • 5/5 PRCD S. 6 months ago on Google
Absolutely fabulous views across Estonia and Tallinn, located next to the Botanical gardens and about 10 km out from Tallinn by bike along a marvelous trek by the sea and then amongst the woods as you turn inland at Pirita. Can also get the bus at regular intervals heading to the Botanical gardens.

Incredible view of the city and the surrounding area. This a must-go place for me and you can snap some amazing pictures if you've got the proper gear with you. Make sure you walk around and explore the different parts of Talinn from above, as it is quite a uniquely situated city.

  • 5/5 Quyen D. 9 months ago on Google
The best place to view the whole Talliinn from above. Food and services are absolutely good too 😁 It's smart to have a handle under the safety net so if you have shaky hand for taking pics, this gonna help 😉

  • 5/5 Mika R. 9 months ago on Google
An interesting place to visit with a great panorama on Tallinn. It closes at 22.00. The entrance is on the groundfloor - don't take the stairs which surround the tower- go through the glass tunnel on the left.

  • 3/5 Joaquin S. 1 year ago on Google
Good attraction. It’s a bit far from downtown but reachable through public bus. The TV tower is nice but could be better prepared. The entrance is almost 50% cheaper after 7 pm.

  • 5/5 Jozef J. 9 months ago on Google
I didn’t want to go up at the beginning, because 17 EUR seemed to much for a view from tower which is miles away from city, but it did it and it was worrh the money. Except very beautiful view, a lot of information about the tower, how it was built up etc. is available. There is also restaurant at the top.

  • 5/5 Hong Z. 10 months ago on Google
It undoubtedly offers the best view of Tallinn. Its surrounding areas are very pretty. The restaurant at the top is very nice and the gift shop on the ground floor is worth the visit. I bought a few nice items there.

  • 5/5 Vitaliy S. 1 year ago on Google
Highly recommend coming here to learn about the history of the tv tower and see the amazing views. Built during the 1970s to be used for 1980 Moscow Olympics for the regatta in Tallinn. It has an impressive hill history and was made with such durable concrete it will likely be standing 300 years from now.

The views are great. Take the stairs to the restaurant and walk outside. A bit overpriced I think (17€ per adult). People are smoking on the balcony! The entrance to the building is on the left, under the building. There are no signs indicating the entrance was changed! (31.07.2022)

The tv tower is not number one on the list of what to do in Tallin, but a nice activity when there is leftover time. There is a small museum before heading up to the top. There was some entertainment and information about DNA at the top of the tower. Very interesting information and activities, but the link to the tv tower itself was not very clear.

  • 5/5 Maja A. 1 year ago on Google
Very pleasurable experience! The Edge Walk was both fun and breathtaking, and our guide made the experience extra worthwhile. You can enjoy very interesting facts and exhibitions about both The Tallinn TV Tower, it's history, it's part in Estonian independence from the USSR, as well as exhibitions about DNA and how DNA-research can be of use. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the prices priceworthy. 5/5 🌟

"Walk on the edge" , this place is pretty exciting and you really get to walk on the edge of this huge high rise tower. ENTRY TICKET - the ticket cost was 20EUR for walk and 10EUR for the entry on the top floor. INCLUSION - A guide who will walk over the edge with you providing information about the place and also click your photographs. They also have options for photography and sending those to emails is included in your entry ticket of 20EUR. This was a wonderful experience for me. I have been to beautiful buildings like Eiffel tower but they are all channelled and you cannot experience this open walk of edge. In case you are in the Nordics or Baltics do visit this place.

(Translated by Google) Okay, to be honest, almost everyone was there, both children and parents of children, and teachers, and so on. But here's what I want to say. It is worth it, for the first time, but at 3 or 6 it is unlikely, for the second it is already controversial. On the top floor there is a mini-cafe, or rather it was, before it turned into a restaurant. Now you can eat really good there! Previously, they only sold teas and cakes from the store, but now fries, salad and much more. On the same floor you can go to the balcony overlooking Tallinn, spoiler! beautiful view:). If there is a playground and a cafe in the courtyard, that's it. Good luck, good people :) (Original)
