Best cafe/bakery in Tallinn. Come here early, as the best products sell out quickly! Everything is baked on-site, and the quality reflects that. If I lived here, i would probably come here every morning for a flat white and a cinnamon bun.

Perfect little spot for morning pastry and coffee! Awesome coffee but the best part was the freshly made cinnamon buns! So soft and warm, right out of the oven. Highly recommend especially in the morning before they ran out of fresh pastries. Staff were super friendly and warm as well. This is my new favorite spot!

Great bakery and cafe! Loved the open kitchen, you can watch everything being made. Marzipan and saffron buns were my favorites.

Small Scandinavian-influenced bakery in Rotermanni district is symbolically located in the building that used to be a flour mill. The place is tiny with a just a couple of small tables and few chairs along the windows with cool magazines to read like the New Yorker. Coffee is top class and brewed of the beans sourced from the best micro-roasters in Estonia and abroad. Useful tip: filter coffee is free to refill. Pastries are of the highest quality and you can't miss with any. Cinnamon bun was outstanding. Sandwiches made with own sourdough are the best I had in a long time. Fresh deep-flavoured bread with soft crumb and fresh tasty ingredients is a guaranteed success. I had tuna sandwich and it blew my mind. It was sooo tasty. Closed on Sundays.

Loved this place. Really nice cinnamon buns and coffee was good. The food was being made in house and was being prepped on show. Awesome place to come and chill. Seating for regular customers inside and out. Also seating for people who want to work on their laptops. Would definitely recommend and would come back again.

OMG those Cinnamon Buns!! 5***** coffee, WiFi is fast enough to work and no one is forcing me to consume or leave after I finished my coffee… really good vibe… It is what is is! These buns are highly addictive and the best I had so far! Such a guilty pleasure and together with a coffee a little spa for the soul! Really enjoy going there!

The best bakery in the city center! Besides the all those tasty baked stuff, offering speciality coffee is bug plus.

This bakery-cafe is amazing! The location is nice (and close to the city centre), the staff is friendly and helpful, their specialty coffee is really good and the pastries are awesome! We tried their cinnamon bun, the savoury pastry and one more sweet bun with marzipan and they are just amazing! It’s also nice that you can see the process of backing the goods as they have a nice, open kitchen. Definitely go and checked them!

An amazing place for pastries, coffee and sandwiches. They have more sweet pastries than savory but could be the day that I was there. The vegie sandwich was very delicious!!!

The best cinnamon buns I’ve ever had, fresh from the oven. The place is really cute, it has very chill vibe. They have sweet and savoury options so everyone can get something, and the coffee is very, very tasty (I had a delicious flat white).

When the smell of cinnamon hits you from a mile away, you know it’s going to be good 😍 And it did not disappoint! This was one of the best cinnamon buns I’ve ever had. I went for the standard cinnamon, which was still warm on the inside, very strongly spiced and not too sweet, which is just how I like it. The dough was very soft but not too gooey and they had a punchy caramelisation on the outside. The bakery itself is super cute and in a nice area of town. Perfect to grab one on the go and have a nice stroll. Highly recommend!

Very nice (although small in number of seats) bakery in a very cool part of the city. Great pastry and sandwiches. The coffee could be a bit better, but it was fine. Would definitely visit again for the cardamom buns!

We ordered at the bar, sat down at a tiny table, ate everything and then had to order some more because it was so incredibly good. The tuna sandwich was epic. Everything we had was absolutely delicious, our favorite was probably the cheese and ham croissant. Also good coffee. It is very busy but the staff are great and the service is very fast. It was very interesting to watch the bakers work while eating their pastries.

Extremely good saffron and cardamom buns. These taste even more when paired with equally good coffee! The venue is pleasant inside with its industrial look, but it can get pretty busy! Definitely drop by if you’re close!

The best bakery in Tallinn! Always fresh pastries that are baked non-stop. So none of your pastures will be older than few hours. In most cases they are hot and takes directly from the oven. They serve amazing coffee too. Highly recommend it!

Amazing! Everything! Location, service, atmosphere. And of course a coffee and their signature cinnamon bun! Also the salty thing (don't know the name) was mouthmelting. I was there around Saturday noon and was lucky enough I found the table.

The place is very hipster. It’s located in a stone building in Rottermani. The place is very crowded which reduces the feel of the place. I had the savoury pastry with ham and cheese. It’s really tasty. I had a mocha alongside it which was not the best.

  • 5/5 Viktor L. 5 months ago on Google
It opens at 8:30 but is worth the wait as everything is so fresh and delicious - also naturally pricy. Kardamombullar is so sticky, gooey, soft and sweet that you can not get enough of that (€3). We also took a sourdough sandwiches (€6) which were ultimately tasty - one with chicken and chipotle mayo and an other with hummus and peanuts. They are worth every cents! Lady at the counter was a little bit curt, but food is compensating everything.

  • 4/5 Ksenia B. 2 years ago on Google
The smell was really good! We decided to try everything that was on the display that day. Cinnamon bun was gorgeous: fluffy and fuuullll of cinnamon! Pastel de pata was also nice, as well as pain au chocolat – full of chocolate. Unfortunately, pistachio and cardamom buns were dry and lacked filling which made them not tasty. The plain croissant was ok.

  • 5/5 Laura B. 5 months ago on Google
We managed to find a cheeky seat and had a really tasty pastry each and a coffee. Definitely one to visit for breakfast if you're in Tallinn. In a new industrial/shopping area which is really cute. The sandwiches looked amazing as well.

I am a big fan of cinnamon buns so it was a pleasure to find some very delicious ones at Rost. So if you go to Tallinn this place is an absolute must if you enjoy coffee cookies. I even bout some to bring back to Belgium as they keep quite well for a few days.

  • 5/5 Felipe L. 7 months ago on Google
I was recommended this bakery by a barista in Helsinki, and I’m glad I came. The espresso was great, but the star of the show was the cinnamon bun (and cardamom bun I took home to eat later). The space is small but with seating most of the time. They sell out quickly if their awesome pastries, so don’t go too late!

The best coffee in Tallinn. I love absolutely everything about this place. Coffee is amazing, and all baked goods are fresh and absolutely delicious. My recommendation, a sandwich with chicken. Be aware that it is spicy. Also, you need to try their cinnamon buns. The staff is friendly and helpful. Don't miss this place.

This bakery is really nice place in amazing quarter of Rotermanni. I think that one of the main reasons why we stepped inside was the amazing smell which comes from this bakery. We bought cinnamon and cardamom buns that were perfect and also some coffee… that one was not our cup of “tea” but if you are fan of sour fancy coffee you will probably love it. This just wasn’t for us.

  • 5/5 Paula P. 11 months ago on Google
Amazing place but packed to the max! Make sure to come early enough to grab the recently made buns. They’re out of this world. Their drink menu is short but good enough to enjoy the food with. We tried the cardamom and cinnamon one and we’re coming back for another round. Each bun is around 3€ which is an amazing price for the size. They also got some bigger sandwiches and other eating options so it’s not just the breakfast spot!

  • 4/5 Ivana Kopkova (. 1 year ago on Google
Amazing cinnamon buns and the pastry. Coffee is OKish but could be better. Staff is not as friendly as described in other reviews (especially during morning rush 🥹) Bakery is in really cool neighbourhood, from spring-autumn you can enjoy your stay outside, in winter only inside which is really small. So you have to wait or do take away. But the CINNAMON BUN really worth it. Even it is a little bit overpriced 🤷🏼‍♀️

  • 5/5 Kantueva V. 1 year ago on Google
Great cinnamon buns and coffee! I came right when the bakery opened and there was already quite a big queue and all the seats inside were taken. You can see how the buns are made right in front of you because the kitchen space is open. Buns look so delish! Also took tuna sandwich as a take away, the bread was fresh and I liked the sauce. Overall, highly recommend:3

Before even opening the front door, I could smell the amazing aromas. We ordered the cinnamon and cardamon buns. So good! We ordered seconds! Coffee was great pairing too. Thanks for a wonderful breakfast. We will be back again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic coffee shop and bakery. Had their cinnamon pastry fresh and it melted in your mouth and had a nice fluffy consistency as well as a bit of crunch from the various nuts on top. Coffee is phenomenal. Wait until 10 if you want the goat cheese filled pastries (they are to die for!) Definitely check this spot out for a quick treat, smoothie, or cup of coffee.

This was a nice surprise, actually at Rotermanni 14, in the same building where I'm staying in the 8ERA apartments, which by the way I would highly recommend. The area is a rejuvenation area, a work in progress, very interesting to see generally. More specifically, Røst Bakery is set in the renovated building, and whilst looking new, also has a nice feeling of old to it. They bake and lay out their own goodies, and each time I've been in, there has been a queue of nice local youngish people there, always a good sign. Coffee was very nice, not the best to my taste mind you, but that's based on the best in Australia. My No 2 spot in Tallinn area that I've found. Some locals rate it No 1.

The flat white i ordered was ok, a bit too sweet for me , kind of like too much cocoa flavoured , but the black coffee was way too sour. Like that sour you can’t control your face. Just sad to pay for something you are having hard time to actually finish. Dont know its being brewed too hot or not grinded in a right size so that the espresso of it comes too sour. Or is it really the roast they like to use . Otherwise the bakery there looks and smells amazing and service was lovely.
