Starters were ok. They have a strange fast food theme that you don't expect from a fancy restaurant. We had steak and chicken schnitzel mains and they were disappointing. Food that you would expect from mediocre pub! Passion fruit dessert and service was nice.

One of the best places to dine in Tallinn with the most spectacular view to the sea and the city. The degustation menu features 9 dishes and costs 89 EUR. There is also an opportunity to have a smaller menu (-1 dish) and this costs 79 EUR. The restaurant belongs to Global Master’s level according to Nordic White Guide and was officially the best restaurant in Estonia in 2018.

One of those instances when you are in anticipation of exquisite food, and then it turns out it was only in your dreams. Weird lighting as if it were in a basement (simply not that good for taking photos). Highly recommend sharing plate as a starter. High-quality prosciutto, salami, melon, cheese, jam and grissini. But that's just the beginning of the story... Aubergine in the main course was a joke, honestly. Not even the whole aubergine, but a half for 23€! I mean, visiting a place like this is associated with fine dining and all of that stuff. Not even kidding, that dish was like one big, ridiculous joke that lacked flavours, and was a trivial one. If your cooking skills are average/above average, believe me, yours will be way better! And it would be reasonable to put the dish under starters. One of my friends ordered truffle pasta. That portion was huge, the taste above average (I think I haven't tried any pasta that could make me think something like 'oh, how on earth is that even possible', IMHO). In terms of cocktails, Bellini was really nice, recommend this one. Nothing out of the ordinary as regards the one with passionfruit. Ginger tea was more like water with a minimal amount of ginger, lacked integrity and body. As for the desserts, both, the banana one and juniper, were delicious. Service is another story. The waiter forgot to bring the 2nd coffee for my friend and realized it in around 30 minutes. Okay, everything might happen. But something funny happened afterwards... As I mentioned, we had that sharing plate with cheese and meat. So, when it was around 1/3 of the plate, the waiter asked us if we gonna finish everything on the plate or she can take the plate away. Also, the feedback she got on the aubergine clearly was only partially satisfactory to her. My friend told her that the dish was okay. The was clearly surprised, even asked again 'Okay'? As if that aubergine were sent from heaven. As you may understand, the service was clumsy. Overall, I'd say the place is worth visiting in summer when you can enjoy the view of the city. A combination of coffee/cocktails + desserts would be a reasonable one. The place is overhyped and overpriced. Without a doubt, there are lots of better options in Tallinn.

Tuna starter was okay but nothing special. Duck for main was okay but would have liked an additional side. Cocktails were good. Service is friendly. At this price don't see the point to visit again. Would only visit the chef's hall next time.

We had the oysters and olives as starters, then we got the Uruguayan steak (medium rare) and finally we shared the cheesecake. It was just wonderful. The oysters were super fresh and tasty, and were totally worth the price of 5 EUR a piece. The olives were acceptable, but too expensive just for olives (8 EUR for just 7 olives), so I wouldn't recommend them. In fact, you can get better olives in the Põhjala tap room and also for a much better price; just avoid the ones from Noa. Regarding the steak, it was cooked to perfection, and the side dish of asparagus was also incredible. Finally, the cheesecake was outstanding! It is probably the best cheesecake that I've ever had. All in all, this restaurant is worth a visit. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and the views of Tallinn are amazing! So yes, it is a very expensive restaurant, but very likely one of the best (if not the best) in Estonia.

We enjoyed main dishes - 🥩 and 🍝. Also, desert - cream brûlée. 👌🏻 Very fast service. Waitresses were very attentive. No wait whatsoever. Small recommendation (as it is a restaurant) that water and some complimentary food could be served (example, bread with cheese/olive oil). As it’s a restaurant not some cafe/fast food 😊

During my gastronomic journey, I had the privilege of visiting Noa Chef's Hall in Tallinn, making it my 73rd Michelin restaurant experience. Without a doubt, Noa Chef's Hall sets the absolute standard for high-end fine dining, deserving one Michelin star restsurant. From its breathtaking panorama to its meticulous attention to detail, this restaurant is a truly special place. The moment I arrived, I was struck by the level of care and attention given to every aspect of the dining experience, from check-in to the final farewell. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a seamless and memorable visit. The interior exuded subtlety and refinement, creating an atmosphere of elegance that enhanced the overall dining experience. The chef's unique style and unwavering professionalism shone through in every dish served. The flavor combinations were showcasing a harmonious blend of ingredients and techniques. It was evident that every dish was prepared with meticulous precision, showcasing the highest level of culinary expertise. One element that truly set Noa Chef's Hall apart was the use of fire in the cooking process. The dishes cooked over the open flames added a captivating and distinctive touch, infusing each bite with a unique smoky essence. This added layer of complexity and depth made the culinary experience truly remarkable. The staff, including the sommelier Karolina, deserve special recognition for their impeccable service. Karolina's expertise and passion for wine elevated the dining experience to new heights. Their thoughtful recommendations and professionalism were commendable, and I appreciated the time taken to communicate and enhance my understanding of the pairings. Their contribution was truly invaluable. In conclusion, I highly recommend Noa Chef's Hall to anyone planning a trip to Tallinn. With its stunning panoramic views, attention to detail, refined interior, and exceptional culinary creations. This restaurant sets the standard for high-end fine dining and delivers an unforgettable experience that will leave you with cherished memories.

NSH is a magical experience. The food alone would suffice to call it that but there’s so many delightful details to this restaurant. From the start, when you enter Narnia and encounter the spectacular view to the intricate serving dishes and live fire in the kitchen(contained by an oven, don’t worry). The menu is solid from start to finish and so is the wine pairing. Every single dish is so good you’re almost expecting the next one to let you down. It won’t. The best seat, of course, is by the chef. You get a glimpse of the busy kitchen and chat to the masters at work. It’s more intimate, I think. It arises in you the appreciation for what these people have created. Even the sunset is served in a very special way, must be a collaboration with nature.

Great experience. Beautiful service. Staff is incredible. But the rockstar of the show was the Sommelier Marko. What a gem! He really knows his work and does it well. Every single one of his selections were spot on! Incredible. He’s what made this night. Overall I would definitely come back.

Amazing dining experience that was super memorable. We were first led into the lounge for pre-dinner cocktails and the server then introduced each of the amuse bouche before hanging them on the tree-like structure on the table. They tasted as good as they looked! We then moved to the main dining hall and were assigned the Chef's table where we could see the chefs putting each dish together. One highlight has got to be the scallop dish made with an ancient cooking tool from the Middle ages, Flambadou which is a cast iron cone; it is placed directly amidst hot coals after which pork lard is added into it - the burning fat melts and is then drizzled onto the scallop. So sinful but sooooooo good!! We were surprised dish after dish throughout the course and our favourite has got to be the Fire leek - the charred leek stuffed with hollandaise and lemon butter, topped with cured elk shavings tasted amazing! 😍

We travel a lot and eat all over the world. I can honestly say that Noa Chef's Hall, as an experience, is one of my top dinners ever. I absolutely loved the more relaxed and interactive service model. Decor and ambience were top notch. Food cannot be faulted and absolutely deserves its star. Great wine list. Will return on our next Estonia trip.

Very nice restaurant to visit. The food and wine was excellent. The server could have been a little more 'warm' but a good place to come with family and friends to try some good local cuisine. If I could, I would come back when it's warmer to dine outside. The restaurant has a nice view of the coast line and the city.

We recently had the pleasure of dining at NOA Chef's Hall, and we must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The staff at NOA Chef's Hall truly went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. One aspect that truly stood out was the successful wine pairing. The sommelier's expertise in selecting the perfect wines to complement each dish was remarkable. The flavors of the wines enhanced the flavors of the food, creating a harmonious and delightful combination. Speaking of the food, the dishes at NOA Chef's Hall were nothing short of outstanding. Each plate presented a unique blend of flavors and textures that left us in awe. The attention to detail and the use of high-quality ingredients were evident in every bite. It was evident that the chefs at NOA Chef's Hall have a deep understanding of their craft and a passion for creating extraordinary culinary creations. Beyond the culinary delights, the design of the restaurant itself was breathtaking. The ambiance was sophisticated and stylish, creating an atmosphere that was both elegant and welcoming. The attention to detail in the interior design, coupled with the panoramic window offering a great Baltic Sea view, truly added to the overall dining experience. We couldn't help but be captivated by the stunning vistas. In conclusion, our visit to NOA Chef's Hall was a remarkable journey of culinary excellence. The combination of great service, successful wine pairing, outstanding dishes, and the breathtaking Baltic Sea view from the panoramic window made it a truly unforgettable dining experience. We had a great anniversary celebration there and highly recommend NOA Chef's Hall to anyone seeking an exceptional gastronomic adventure.

Incredible! From the first moment you walk in, to the moment you leave, they think of everything. It’s one of those places that has this comfortable vibe but you know every detail has been thought of and everything is there for a reason. Food and service incredible. Some nice touches like having the first drink in the lounge and visiting the chef to watch the first course be prepared. Recommend!

After a walk in the cold the place was warm and staff was very welcoming. We ordered the chef's special consisting of 5 different dishes for 75EUR pp. One could have ordered it with accompanying wine for another 55 EUR pp. We like to cook and we would not have been able to make the majority of these dishes. We asked many questions and received kind replies. We enjoyed and would recommend it.

We had a phenomenal evening, thank you! We watched the sun slowly setting in the horizon and changing the colors of the sky, while enjoying a sensational dinner. The four course menu was excellent, food was perfectly matched with the wines. Tastes were balanced, presentation was gorgeous, service was flawless, and the views were magnificent.

Myself and my wife came here last night, in huge anticipation as we had both heard fantastic things about the restaurant, it's food and setting. In terms of setting, we were not disappointed, it really is a stunning location for a restaurant, with a very chilled and laid back atmosphere. However, that's kind of where it ends. We had reserved a table for two and we were placed about 400yds directly under the sun. It was frazzling, and sunlight was directly in our eyes. We did ask if we could move to a shaded area but we're told that the restaurant was full and it wouldn't be possible. Anyway, ordered the local beer which was lovely to be fair and some cocktails before ordering our lights and mains. 5 minutes after our starter came, our waitress informed us that there was a mistake in the kitchen and that our mains were due out immediately. When asked if that was OK...we reluctantly agreed and were told to be quick with our starters as our mains were placed on our table. Duck was fine, celeriac a little too overpowering, steak was cooked well but suffered from huge lumps of fat making around a third of it inedible. Once finished, our desserts were out within a flash...again, feeling as if we were constantly being rushed. I'm really undecided about this place. We felt as if there was not the same level of service given to us, as there were larger tables or other tables with 2. Explanations were given about local beers, drinks and food from waiting staff around the restaurant, but the best we had was food handed to us all at once in what felt like an attempt to get us out of the door, even though we were paying around €200 for our experience. Would I go again? No...most likely not. If you want attentative service with unbiased, knowledgeable staff with amazing food...go to Rataskaevu 16 instead. PS: Those tables that were fully booked that we couldn't move to? Yeah...they were empty for the entire duration of our stay...

We went for breakfast in a very nice winter morning with snow and cool light. The view is really beautiful and food was good too. The waitress very kind. Pricy but the view it's worth the upcharge. For sure we will come again for lunch or dinner.

A wonderful experience, I would give this place 10 stars if I could. We sat at the Chef's Table next to the fireplace and enjoyed watching excellent cooking. The dishes were highly creative, new and so delicious, check out the inventiveness of the potato dish from the menu! Chatting with the new charming member on the team, chef Laura, was very interesting and added to our mind blowing experience. The NOA Chef's Hall really has hospitality figured out.

We went in with high expectations, and they were completely met. From the beginning through the end, the service was impeccable! It felt like the servers went out of their way to assist. Next the food. The food was outstanding, original, and fresh! The charred leek with shredded truffle and a truffle hollandaise sauce inside was the star of the show of the ten course meal. Finally, the view. Right on the Baltic Sea with an amazing panoramic view of the city. Every seat in the restaurant has a clear view. Highly recommend this place!

Good food and great location for the sunset and view over the water to Tallinn. However, the wine flight was very disappointing - I didn't really like any of the wines .... seemed to be trying too hard to be different for the sake of being different - sometimes just because you can, doesn't mean you should!

Always a great experience. I miss the clams that are not on the menu any more. However, there are plenty of delicious dishes. The cocktails could be a bit bigger. Nice atmosphere and view to the sea. Excellent service

Scenic location by the sea. There are a few vegetarian options, mainly starters. They were elaborate and creative, though I would not recommend to come specifically for the food if you are vegetarian, but it is an elegant and pleasant place to visit. The service was friendly but it was quite slow between dishes though the restaurant was pretty empty on this week evening.

Started with oysters, followed by the Uruguayan entrecot and ended with a cheesecake. All the flavours were just perfect. And topping that up with the breathtaking view of Tallinn and the Baltic Sea this place deserves all the stars.

This place was a true experience and definitely worth the trip outside of town for a fancy dinner. We were really blown away by the food, both the taste, presentation and combinations of flavor. On top of that the service was extraordinary and the restaurant is really cozy with nice atmosphere and great view over the ocean and Tallinn city.

Myself and two friends were visiting Tallinn last weekend and dined in Noa Chef's Hall on Saturday. It was an absolute pleasure from beginning to end. They've managed to cultivate an atmosphere where you know you're in a fine dining restaurant but it doesn't feel prim or stuffy in any way. The food is absolutely exceptional and the experience they’ve built around it was befitting of food of that quality. Special thanks to Arina, Sven and Robert for making our evening and our trip to Tallinn something we’ll remember fondly forever. I hope to see you all again next time I’m in Tallinn.

Dining at Noa Chef's Hall (NCH) is an experience I am still savoring days later. The service, presentation, creativity, and execution of the dishes is truly in a class of it's own. I was able to dine at Noma last week, and I was thinking of canceling my reservation at NCH because I was concerned I'd be comparing the two experiences, which were just a few days apart. I am so glad I didn't cancel because NCH stands out and can hold it's own among the absolute best! Go to NCH while it's still somewhat under the radar. Thanks again to the wonderful staff and team for such a memorable and magical experience!

Noas Chef hall In my travels I have had the pleasure to attend many Michelin star restaurants. Before going to NOAs chef hall, I deliberately ate at all the top Estonian restaurants like 180C, Tchaikovsky etc. Without reading any further I can say that NOAs chef hall with their maestro Orm Oja at the helm is definitely the best restaurant in Estonia and in my experience would definitely deserve a star. If you wish to take a trip to Nordic cuisine and eat the best food available in Estonia then NOAs Chef Hall is the place to go. The food For me what makes food “very good” is the story, chef’s mastery of flavour, how the food is prepared and the techniques used and if the food has soul, if it has personality and that “personality” translates from the head Chefs mind on to the plate. NOAs Chefs hall menu is a Nordic style menu which in preparation uses a lot of fire, smoke and elements from the earth. We in Estonia are not so blessed to have a lot of produce all year around, but we have a lot of berries, plants, mushrooms during the summertime. During the courses Orm has used this Nordic approach with most of the dishes. The meat for example is cooked with live fire and smoked during the same time with pig fat. The bread is grilled in the fire. Many of the dishes have plants that can be found in Estonian woods. I loved all of the dishes and the flavours that translated from them. I think the menu was 12 courses and all of them were excellent. There is a lot of variety in the menu, the tastes of the courses are meticulous, there are a lot of textures with great variety and the menu blends together nicely. Its starts of with 3 lighter courses and builds up like a great symphony. The atmosphere of the place is also quite nice, with the fire outside burning, the sea and the waves crashing on to the coast. The service was excellent, the waiters always explain what is the food before you start your course, which of course is expected for a place like this. Overall id give Orm and Noas Chef hall 9/10 (as a thing called total perfection never exists :D) Thank you guys and girls for an amazing time! Margus
