👍👍 Estonia’s first Hakata style pork bone broth ramen has landed in Kalamaja: Yui has ramen the way a salary man expects it to be. If you miss the ramen in Fukuoka and don’t want to make the trip to the closest thing, which is Fat Ramen in Helsinki, then rest easy because Yui is like the shortest route... People often mention ramen, Japanese, good, sushi,

Estonia’s first Hakata style pork bone broth ramen has landed in Kalamaja: Yui has ramen the way a salary man expects it to be. If you miss the ramen in Fukuoka and don’t want to make the trip to the closest thing, which is Fat Ramen in Helsinki, then rest easy because Yui is like the shortest route from Kalamaja to Hakata, Japan. If you’re not sure what this review is on about and you’re wondering things like “What’s a salary man? Where is Fukuoka? What’s this got to do with Helsinki?”…the point is this is the best, non-pretentious Japanese restaurant in the country, maybe the region. You’ll also find excellent nigiri, onigiri, rolls, and occasionally even okonomiyaki. If any of this is unfamiliar, just head in and ask the chef to recommend something and be sure to bring an open mind.

So good! We got two free onigiri. It was decently price and not too busy. The sushi was delicious and fresh and the ramen was flavourful. Would come back again.

Ordered delivery and everything was nicely packaged. Shoyu ramen was tasty, but I guess it's even better in the restaurant. Irodoro sushi set was good also, though some items I liked more than others. Overall it was good quality food, but have had better experiences.

The best Japanese food that I have found so far in Tallinn. The staff speaks English and are very friendly.

I go to this restaurant a lot for their lunch Ramen deals and to read. The food is great and the music is relaxing. It is also good to go with company 🙂 They have some imported Japanese items like melon sodas and other drinks, which are nice to have as well.

Best Japanese restaurant in Tallin! My friend bring me there because of they are re-open since Covid! This place own by Japanese folks and you can expect the authentic taste from them for sure 🤩 I would recommend everyone to try crispy spicy kaarage chicken ramen (with any soup) they are super goooooood at this dish! Or just show them this picture. Haha! And another awesome dish is *fried crab and cream sushi*. This dish was super amazing and I really enjoy it so much, it's crunchy outside and soft and smooth inside, flavor is superb. You MUST try them. If you live here or come to Tallin, give they a chance and try their foods, you will love it for sure 😊😋

After reading many good reviews, I was intrigued. I got chicken gyoza, and the pork broth ramen with karaage chicken. The gyoza was really good, maybe one of the best I've had. The ramen on the other hand: not so good. I found the noodles a bit too chewy (maybe others might like it), and the broth was a bit too watery for me, I had hoped it would be a rich, full tonkotsu broth. Their homemade lemonade is really refreshing and tasty!

The food was spectacular! Really authentic Japanese menu. And the service was great. The shrimp tempura ramen was super delicious with a fresh onigiri on the side - Highly recommen!

Ramen is really good and tasty. 🍜 I remember they had better sushi before, now it’s just a regular taste, nothing special. It was cold (probably rice and veggies were kept in the fridge for a while) even if you’re eating on spot. 🍱 Service is a bit slow, however, friendly staff. Atmosphere nothing special, nor Japan-specific 🇯🇵

100% worth the detour. This is one of the best ramen we’ve had in Tallinn. They offer a very nice menu of authentic Japanese food and products, prices are decent and the staff is super lovely and attentive. The restaurant was full and they still served us pretty fast. I had the hakata ramen and I must say I was impressed, now I can’t have enough of that broth 🍜 We had some sake for the table and also tried some Japanese melon sodas 🍈 Coming back soon!

Nice Japanese place in Tallinn! Had a Don, the portion was a bit small for my taste. Would like to give this place a second chance. Kimchi there was great!

Ordered via Wolt, food looked and smelled nice, but as there was no chopsticks with my order, didn't had a chance to eat it... You can't really eat ramen with your fingers... As I was staying in U11 hotel, there was no way to get any kind of cutlery... Found out just later that you have to order and pay for them separately...could have warning for it atleast! So disappointed!

Every time I go there I feel like I'm in food heaven. I always leave with my stomach much too full 🤣. I have tried almost every ramen in Tallinn and so far Yui offers by far the best ones. Especially the tonkatsu one, I have trouble picking anything else from the menua, as it's just so good. All the other foods beside ramen are also fantastic. I have tried to sample each different kind of food and not once have I been even "eh, it's okay". It's always good. And the desserts, while a safe choice for an European country, are still lovely. I haven't yet sadly been to Japan, but I feel like this is the real deal. The atmosphere is also very nice. The new location at Kalamaja is cozier, bigger and more comfortable. Overall I prefer Yui to Tokumaru and Kampai too. Give Yui a try if you have a chance.
