Having 2-3 elements from national cuisine doesn't make it a traditional food restaurant, by far. Just regular street food with staff unaware of restaurants promoted image. Would be worth visiting after most of the places in this wonderful old town have been gone through. Extremely slow service. High prices.

Great place for Estonian food! Really friendly service, I wasn't sure what to get or what would work well and she guided me and it was awesome. Soup and dumplings and donuts was a wonderful 3 course dinner for a cold snowy day. Really well priced too, very affordable!

📍located in the center of Old Town, very easy to find 🖼terrace is really nice for summer evenings, especially if Dj Darno is playing 👧good service, nice waiters 🥘small but tasty portions 💶good prices for Old town, not expensive, but not for a budget

Estonian cuisine with the most famous dishes being served. Not the cheapest (it's in old town anyway) but good quality. Their dumplings really are stellar. We tried wild boar, bear and lamb. All three were great quality. My friends also found the house beer to be excellent (I had tea).

Everything is ok but weak choice of authentic Estonian meals (a soup was quite tasty). Anyway, cocoa was great!

What a find! Situated in a basement this wonderful quirky little restaurant serves a variety of traditional food and home fruit infused Vodka/Brandy a whole array of flavours (definitely try the plum and Cherry) I had the Pea Soup followed by Elk Dumplings and Bear Dumplings, both I’d never tried before but I’m so pleased I did. Service was fast, presentation was perfect and the flavours were perfectly balanced. Set in a warm, clean, homely setting. Worth a visit!

It’s our first time in Estonia and were keen to try some traditional food. I was keen to try the blood sausage and can confirm it’s delicious. We also ordered the lamb rack, which was equally as tasty. Both meals were delicious, good portion sizes and value for money. The staff were very welcoming and provided wonderful service. 😊

All food was good, but the dessert( pancakes with jam) was bad and tasted like mold. We almost didn’t eat it. We said this to the waiter, but he said nothings. And he brought the bill with the price for this bad dessert. We ordered 2portions !!and they made us to pay for this, despite that fact that we couldn’t eat it. And waiter even didn’t excuse

So glad I found this place which makes the most delicious pelmeenid (Estonian dumplings) which everyobe must try when in Estonia. We had the wild boar dumplings which were juicy and perfectly seasoned! Perfect little spot for a short lunch while exporing the old town of Tallinn!

We have never been to a place like this. First of all, sweet potatoes that we took as a starter were overcooked. Then one person got her food, all of the other’s didn’t. Shouldn’t you bring all of the main courses together? The person took pasta with chicken, and the pasta was not even al-dente, you could feel that it was undercooked. We asked to change it, and thankfully they agreed to do so. Then another person who ordered a steak got his food and it was far far away from steak, it was a minced meat meal, a patty. I mean, in what place a patty is a steak? :D then the third person finally got her food together with 2nd time cooked pasta. The person took grilled salmon, and only the sweet corn and sauce saved this meal. Salmon was too salty and overcooked. But the second time pasta was good at least. Maybe it is a good place for traditional food, but for sure not for anything else….

My friends and I found this amazing place by accident and we loved it!! They offer a lot of variety, different delicious starters and desserts. Everything is prepared with a lot of love and we had such a great time that we decided to return a day later! ☺️☺️

Had a great chicken steak here. The place is tiny and you'd easily miss it. It has fake grass on the floor which is a little odd. For all that's odd about this place, the food and the atmosphere make up for it. Great service too.

Excellent spot! We had the chicken soup, pea soup and veggie dumplings. It was absolutely delicious, freshly made, super tasty. Excellent service and great ambiance. Would highly recommend if you’re looking for a delicious cozy meal.

Great food, we had pork neck, fish, and very tasty dumplings. The waiter we had was very helpful and super friendly, a bit inexperienced but really good

We were the first to arrive, then 4 other tables filled up. They took our menu to give to new customers, but didn't take our order! Other tables started getting their orders delivered, while we were left completely ignored for 15 minutes. We flagged a waiter down and asked for service but still didn't receive any. So we left. Really disappointed. They may have good food, but they didn't want us to check it out.

I really liked the vibe of this place and had amazing conversation with the owner about the history of place and town itself. I had my best cappuccino in Tallinn here. Atmosphere is very lively and people come here for having a beer and nice conversation too.

Nice food. Not as rich a sauce as I normally like, but this restaurant says, traditional Estonian, and that's what we got. Staff were pleasant and spoke English. Cosy atmosphere in the basement. Overall it was a nice relaxing and pleasant lunch. Cheers.

Excellent local food, drink and ambience. The dumplings made a great starter and I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb sausages for main, followed by the donuts for dessert. Highly recommended.

Cozy place with friendly staff and delicious food served here. Reasonable prices, great events almost every weekend such as dj, vocal singers, fire show and other different interesting events. Dog friendly place with a great discount. Cafe is situated on the heart of old Town with an open terrace and spectacular city view.

Stayed there for the whole day, so I got lunch, drinks, coffee, dinner. Lunch was okay! Coffee and the lemonade were good. But dinner, the main dish (the 14 euro costing fish) was awfully bland. It would have been more fit to be a 3.50 euro festival lunch what is served to 400 people. It was so easy and childish dish that a 7 year old could have made it. I am sad for the money wasted, this is literally just cheating money out from people. The waitress did not speak Estonian at all, just looked at me dumbly like a deer in headlights until I started to speak in English with her. This is a cafe in *Estonian capital city, Old Town*, they should be able to speak Estonian language. Also when paying, their card-payment machine didn't work well and it took like 5 minutes to load the payment. Meanwhile the workers chatted their own things in loud Russian while I just had to stare the wall waiting for the payment to go through. When going to the bathroom, the lock on the bathroom door was broken. Absolute trainwreck of a place. It is 2 stars not 1, because lunch was *OK* and coffee and lemonade were good, have to give a little bit for that.

The food really hit the spot! It was one of the few places in town with mulgikapsad. The homemade dumplings also brought me right back to Kyiv. So delicious! It is such a little spot with a great vibe for chilling out, also the waitress/bartender was also very friendly.

My friend and I have eaten in this restaurant after roaming aroung the Old Town, and I would definitely recommend the pork steak with mushroom and potatoes. I loved it!

Really small but homely cafe serving home made food. Only maybe 4 tables, and service wasn't the quickest, but there was only one woman working up front. Would recommend the dumplings and honey beer.

The lamb sausage with cabbage stew was delicious!!! Friendly staff. Decent prices compared to all the overpriced restaurants in old town. I wanted to find Estonian food for a reasonable price: Mission accomplished.
