Believe it or not, but here are one of the best pizzas. Quattro formaggi is absolutely adorable. And the same goes for Napoli Picante. Actually, it is such a challenge to choose from a variety of pizzas... Cause truffle pizza is also nice... Basque cheesecake with salted caramel is literally to die for, one of the best desserts you can try in Tallinn.. Most of the dishes are truly well-balanced. Highly recommended!

Small Italy lies beneath, The market of the city Street. A garden of Amalfi and Toscana, I wish only to be in Romana. Yet, Jahu is nowhere close, Nothing here resembles those. It's a dying star in the sky, Of Italian wonderous lives. I went there to wait for long, It felt they didn't see me belong. After 40 minutes of being alone, My dish was finally shown. The presentation was ambitious, Yet the taste was never delicious. A salad of Nizza which lacked so much, It lacked the essence - Italian touch. One of the worst experiences I have had lately. It took them to notice me if not the only customer, 2 minutes. After that 20 minutes to take my order. The received tuna salad was supposed to be Nizza salad. Yet, it was so far from what defines a Nizza salad. Maybe they only focus on pizza and pasta, but I will not recommend this restaurant. I found nothing enjoyable here. Even the Foccacia was dried out and hard... I left with saddened mood. So much potential..

The service was one of the best I’ve ever received! The truffle pasta was pretty nice. Regardless that the cacio e pepe pasta lacked salt and pepper itself, our experience wasn’t ruined. The waiter explained that the pasta is made according to local tastes that’s why it tasted differently than in Italy. He also didn’t include it in the bill which we really appreciated! The complimentary bread and cheesecake were really good.

We had the grilled pulpo (which was good!) and the mushroom parpadelle. The parpadelle wasn't even al dente but just undercooked👎🏼 The glasses weren't polished and the place just appeared pretentious but unable to deliver. The waitress seemed uninterested and in general the front staff seemed more interested in gossiping and hanging out in the bar than serving the guests. My boyfriend ordered a Fernet Branca after the food and she didn't know what it was. We finished our meal and dessert in an hour and left🤷🏻‍♀️ I was very exciting due to the menu and the recommendations here but left quite disappointed.

Delicious! One of the best pizzas I have tried in Tallinn (shrimp 🦐). Place where even margaritas are tasty. Extra friendly staff. No children's menu but possible to order child pasta. Everyone seems to love their mussels. Highly recommend

Went there during TRW last week and food was very good as expected on that price level. Taking the star off as the whole service section seemed to be in chaos with service section having no idea what was going on. We were served by 3 different waitresses/waiter and only one of them actually knew what was happening. At some point we were asked, are we interested in dessert? And it was a part of the set menu. A bit chaotic evening but nothing major.

All-time favourite place to eat pizza! This time ordered favourites and also tried new taste - black truffle pizza. Paired great with champagne!

Burger is really good, I one time I ordered the burger patty was a bit too red for me and my friend's liking, I like medium but that was under that. And they don't put salt on their fries, just with the tip of the finger I suppose because as I saw yesterday that's the amount they put and no more. I had to ask from the burger stop to add more salt and of course it caused a little amazement and the chef added with his finger tips. It helped a little but not much. The burger is truly yummy, today the burger had nice flavouring but if there would have been any less then it would have been flavourless. But it truly is a good burger, fries are cooked nicely as well but yeah

Amazing place. Loved the food very much. Fantastic ambience. Authentic taste, really well presentation. Friendly staffs and fantastic Menu to choose from. Parking is 1Euro for an hour.

Our new favorite restaurant in Tallinn. Excellent small plates and pastas, perfect pizzas, and very interesting and high quality wine list, also by glass. Service is the nicest too!

Had two pizzas as a takeaway and they were great - about 4.5 out of 5 stars. Great and chewy dough, toppings and sauce were great as well.

Amazing place, the staff is very nice, friendly and know a lot about the food they serve. Food is very tasty and served quickly. The pasta is one of a kind, fresh made and delicious. The restaurant is located in a bit of a hard to find place but it is definitely worth it. Recommend it to everyone.

Home-made pasta and pizza in the heart of Telliskivi quarter. If you are looking for a quiet and tasty place for lunch or dinner you definitely have to try Jahu resto. Starting from 2020 Jahu resto gets every year a prestigious «White Guide» award. White Guide recommends interesting eateries all over Estonia from Hiiumaa to Narva and is constantly updated. Restaurant is located nearby Baltiс market (Balti turg). Some of the products used at the restaurant are from that market. We knew Jahu resto as a place for home-made pasta and pizza. This time we tasted two pastas and some starters. Pasta. Guys have their own pasta making machine. That helps to keep pasta fresh and delicious. You can also order just a package of pasta and cook it by yourself at home. We ordered mushroom pappardelle and seafood linguine. Both of them were very tastу. The portions were quite big. Actually we were already full. Also we’ve taken beef tartare and burrata salad. Beef is from the local farm. On the plate you’ll also find homemade brioche, vegetable crisps and black truffle aioli. Burrata had a very gentle taste. It was served as in Italy with tomatoes, basil and olive oil. Just magnifique! I highly recommend this place both for families and couples, who want to enjoy the great fresh food and also home-made drinks - try Jahu ale, and also an excellent service. There is a terrace, so you can sit both inside and outside. During summer, Friday and weekend, guys also offer live music. I wish you a great experience too at Jahu resto!

The truffel pasta was bit undercooked and in general a little bit of extra flavor was missing. Little bit of green next to the pasta would also added a lot to the pasta. There was a switch of waitress so had to wait, after eating, quite a lot time to get the attention or possibility to ask dessert and check. The price and quality was not in place.

Delicious pasta with fresh ingredients, and mouth watering desserts. Excellent service and a cool cozy restaurant. And all of this for a very reasonable price! :)

Jahu resto is a nice restaurant nearby the main trainstation Balti Jaama in Tallinn. The entrance is not perfectly visible being the place divided in two parts. It seems at first glance entering in a tile showroom (in fact it is a showroom) but then walking till the end you can even notice the restaurant. Atipical place but relatively nice. We were in two and we have ordered 1kg of mussels and one pizza crudo. Mussels did not have a fresh taste, they were frozen and sauce wasn't very tasty. The pizza was relatively good, but unfortunately it arrived after 1 hour having completed our mussles. Price was higher that the quality received. I am sure there are the good potentialities but they must get more experience.

As usual, the food at Jahu was out of this world. The beef tartar was beautiful presented and absolutely delicious, the 4 cheese pizza was in the top 3 pizzas I've ever had too! Couldn't recommend more!!

Excellent food, friendly service, Quality for the price is through the roof. Definitely will go again to try other things from the menu.

Excellent, I can only recommend!!! A piece of Italy 🇮🇹 in Tallinn. Our service was very nice and courteous and we also liked the ambience. The food was incredibly tasty, the service was attentive. The location of the restaurant is very convenient, it is actually in the center of the city near the Baltic Sea Market (Balti turg). Accordingly, the restaurant always has fresh food, which is often purchased in this market. With my girlfriend we ordered two different pastes (one pasta with mushrooms, the other with seafood). Both dishes surprised us positively. The starters were also very tasteful and beautifully served. The range of drinks included both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We tried our own homemade beer - Jahu ale. The beer has a distinctive taste and is suitable for all beer lovers. The menu also offers a variety of homemade desserts. But we didn't have dessert because we were already full after the starters. Top restaurant!! Very tasty food! I will gladly come again.

In the summer, a lovely backyard with DJs in the evenings. The interior is beautifully decorated. The food has always been really good when we've been there. I always come back for the mussels. Popular with locals, rarely tourists.
