The Tahkuna lighthouse is a must see if you are visiting Hiiumaa. Nearby there is the memorial statue to commemorate the tragic incident of the drowning of the Baltic cruiser Estonia. The view is astonishing and the climb will give you a mild exercise.

Very beautiful lighthouse. Great view from its top. There is also a memorial for the kids who died when the Estonia sank, apparently this is the closest place on land to the site where it sank.

Wow, what a height and interior architecture, the base floor is exceptionally wide, i am used to a lot narrower light houses. Also liked the photo exhibition on different floors of the light house. And the local lemonade from the entrance kiosk tasted good. I suggest you go there if you like the light houses and lot of steps. I think this metal beast was at least 10 storeys high. If you stand on the viewing platform there is air below your legs.

Good views from lighthouse observation floor. Also there are different exposition on each floors. Check working hours, as lighthouse could be close during non-summer time. Ticket price to go upwords is 3 eur/person.

Excellent view, and people who are afraid of heights can choose a lower platform and can open a tiny window. Friendly staff

There's something very special about lighthouses. Especially ones that you can climb to the top and be rewarded for your efforts with a magnificent feeling as the view opens out before you. I purchased a beer at the ticket kiosk at the bottom and enjoyed it at the top in the open air leaving on the railing. It's nice to find places where you can still be trusted to do such things safely and responsibly. This place is worth the drive. Magical experience. There's also a really nice walk along the beach close by too, and a poignant memorial to the MS Estonia ship that sank in the Baltic sea.

This was so cool. Going up takes about 200 steps and the views are stunning. The interesting part is that there is no safety net up there or anything so you get a clear view of the island. Would not recommend to walk up if you have problems with heights, the top is really exposed. They also have a small cafe with local products. The ticket was 4e.
