During our first visit to Tartu Ahhaa science center was 1st in the too to must go places and we did it. It is very interesting and full of activities. Kids just love it but there are interesting things for parents as well. Price for 2 parents and 1 kid was 54 together with planetarium ticket, and it’s full day multi enter ticket. Cant tell that planetarium was great, but from content perspective it was definitely great and interesting. We learned new things. There is a restaurant as well, so you can enjoy whole day there. I think we’ll definitely come back there again when we’ll be back in Tartu.

This is a great experience. Loads to see and it's all interactive. Very clean everywhere. All the info is in all languages which is helpful. I would recommend at least an hour but you could easily take 4 hours to do it all. The cafe is really nice too, very bright and cheerful.

Absolutely amazing! I have a 2 year old son who loved the experience. We saw the dinosaurs expo, but he got a little scared since he doesn’t understand that they aren’t real, and I thought actually that the dinosaur expo was bigger. Besides that all of the other activities are really nice and also the food there was incredible, we ate a really good pasta and burger, and the kids menu counts with the classic fries and meat balls. Loved the experience and recommend for either kids or grownups.

A great museum that everyone can enjoy. We are a science teacher and a physics graduate, yet we still learnt things! It is open late, so it can be left until later on a one-day trip to Tartu or a great place to go in the rain - there's an inside exhibition about sport with lots of practical exercise equipment to burn off a little (or large) one's steam. The Museum shows science very practically and displays some of the more complex ideas at play. We couldn't visit the planetarium as we arrived later in the day for shows in English. We would suggest checking in advance if you have specific language needs

Adults and kids very liked. We had interesting time all day. You can go outside and come back, so we chose to eat in the city although there is a cafe in the science center but prices are a little bit high. A ticket to planetarium is not included in the price but there is very interesting to see, but be careful, head is spinning there 🙂

I had high hopes for this one (having visited the Copernicus museum in Warsaw). I especially enjoyed some unexpected hands-on/experiential exhibits (earthquake simulation, astronaut trainer, bike riding on a rope) and the new exhibition space about the brain (qlthough it might've been more in-depth). Overall, though, the museum seemed smaller than the one in Warsaw. My partner was really fascinated by the medical collections of the Faculty of Medicine of the Tartu university. With the day ticket, you can leave the museum and get back later in the day. It's a great feature, as you may want to go out, take a breather and grab lunch outside of the canteen (there are a couple of shopping centres nearby). We spent around 4-5 hours in total.

Have been there 4 or 5 times. And enjoy it every time. Recommend to visit
