Good museum, new facilities and the castle surroundings are great for exploring. Also the playground is very unique and fun!

Impressive ruins, but the museum has a pretty limited exposition, so I recommend just going for the ruins area ticket (3EUR) and avoiding the museum ticket (9EUR). You can spend the 6EUR you saved in the local pub situated in the same building. Watch out with kids - the parking lot is across the road (so kids can run in front of a car) and the ruins area can be a bit tricky to navigate for kids under 6-7 years old - some very steep stairs, some edges to potentially fall off.

The ruins are beautiful, with nice landscape around and views from towers. Near by there is hiking trails and two small rivers with dozens of turns. Worth time to look at this 14th century castle ruins. There is pretty big parking lot and a museum too.

Parhaiten säilyneeseen tykkitorniin on mahdollista kavuta portaita pitkin. Kannattaa varata hetki aikaa tutustua myös ympäröivään luontoon.

Popped in thinking it's gone be a quick visit but there was quite a lot to see so it turned out to be a full on exploration of the buildings and site. Well worth the visit. Very kind and friendly staff too. PS! Recommend to buy the local wine 😉

Long history, good exhibitions, good bathroom, plenty of parking, nice trail in the nature, cool scalable castle with a long nice view pretty high up even if it doesn't look like it.

Great ruins with Great views and interesting aura. We were there in the evening, when nobody was there, I liked that all place was only for us. History written on info table was interesting too.

Very exotic and wild place, the river that surrounds almost the whole castle (ruins) the remains of the ancient walls, the slopes - it all somehow paints a picture of how life could have been several hundred years ago.

Quiet place ,especially in the morning . You can even see a nest of cranes. There is a hiking trail that goes throu the forest .The ruins itself are not much to look at. A place for whole family. Take moscito repellent spray.
