Awesome vegan restaurant! The food was so good. Broccoli tacos were out of this world. Strawberry mint lemonade was nice and refreshing. Our 16 year old is vegan and she loved her food. Nice to have so many vegan options. A special thank you to our server, Hanna, for running out to catch us before we drove off, when we left an item behind. Thank you Hanna for going above and beyond! We will be back next time we come from Chilliwack!!!

Excellent experience here. A lot has been done with the space they have to create a very casual, relaxing dining atmosphere. The decor was excellent, very open concept and inviting. Food was immaculate. I'll be honest - I'm a meat eater. Any kind, any type. But, my girlfriends vegetarian (not vegan) and I was tired of seeing her only having four options on any menu to try. It was excellent seeing that every single thing on the menu is vegan, and can be made vegetarian with some substitutions (can add an egg, or dairy cream to coffee ). I got the chorizo skillet which, even to this carnivores tastes, was extremely good (I added an egg, and recommend mixing it all together - tastes best that way). Girlfriend got the vegan waffles. Both dishes were excellent. Ate the whole thing. Bonus - the cups of coffee are gigantic and exactly what I needed Saturday morning at a vegan restaurant. An excellent experience through and through. They've done something right here - the ingredient combinations are creative, and obviously designed by someone who can teach a masterclass in flavor profiles. Very impressed.

No, this ain't your plain vanilla vegetarian joint. This is a real destination for foodies, carnivores and vegetarians alike. The rumors are true about the cheeseburger. Mine tasted like charbroiled meat, with the same texture and flavor, and a hint of mushroom. The skinny sesame fries were so flavorful and it matched perfectly with the house made catch-up. The service was great and the atmosphere intimate. Great date spot. Would definitely come again when I'm in Kelowna.

Awesome food! It’s rare for me to rate a restaurant a 5 after eating there only once but as my wife said, this place checked all the boxes. It was recommended by non-vegan friends from Kelowna (we’re from Vancouver) who also love it. Arguably one of the best vegan restaurants we’ve ever eaten anywhere! Our kids (4&5 years old) loved the food which says a lot as they’re so picky. The smoothies, broccoli Caesar, kid sticky rice, waffles - everything was delicious! Really appreciated the attention to all our food allergies (wheat, cashew, sesame). It’d be great if they opened a location in Vancouver - the business would do well here. Spacious and great service too!

Husband: Do you want to go to Frankie We Salute You??? Me: Yeeeeeeeeeeessss please 🫠🫠🫠 Amazing service. Our food was ready shortly after we ordered. The waiters were very knowledgeable and had great recommendations. The food was absolutely amazing… I ordered the chickpea fries for Appetizer and they were to so crunchy and yummy I could eat 10of them. For lunch I had the Carrot sandwich with side salad an strawberry mint lemonade and Oh My God… I could eat this sandwich every day and still love it. So healthy, fresh and light and yet it was so filling. My experience was so good that I’m actually going there tomorrow again for brunch. I really recommend trying this restaurant you will be impressed…

We started by going one night and ended up with a back to back to back visit with amazing meals, service and happy tummies every single time! In face we have to go juices ready for our trip home tomorrow. Where to start? My wife is vegetarian and I’m pescatarian. When we travel we like to find cool, funky and upbeat vegetarian or vegan places to try out. We were in town for the Spartan Races at Big White so clean eats was a must. Pro-tip - book a reservation. Sara and her team of happy servers and kitchen staff made us feel welcome from the minute we opened the door. You can tell she has a passion for fine, affordable, sustainable vegan cuisine. Our allergies were always noted and the menus was known like the back of one’s hand. It’s a cozy menu but the choices are still diverse, unique and full of flavour. The photos on this review will speak for themselves but please take note that Sunday was the weekly vegan sushi night!!! If it’s still going I highly recommend the full course. Frankie you looked after us this weekend. We salute all of you!! Chad and Deanna

A lovely spot serving a classic veg menu with creative twists. Delicious food and a great atmosphere. I highly recommend the mushroom appi. The tacos were tasty and the portion was a good sized, but they were a little challenging to eat because they were so full. May have been better with three tortillas. Overall, highly recommend.

You NEED to eat here! The food here is fantastic! Recommend the chickpea fries, the mushroom burger, the apple waffle pancakes. One of our party had the farmers market tacos and said they were missing that fresh Lime sauce taste, but everything else was amazing. A couple at the table had an issue with their food and the managers were quick to correct the issue. I was expecting this place to be a more fast food style place, but was surprised by the nice bright atmosphere in a sit down restaurant. Absolutely will eat here again.

I am not a vegan or vegetarian, but I do like good food. The food here was amazing. It was so fresh and so flavourful. I had a BLT (no bacon of course) and it was probably the best BLT I have ever had. It came with a delicious soup and a homemade lemonade. It was all less than $20 which for the quality was a fair price. I am local to Kelowna so will definitely be back.

Surprisingly delicious for a vegan restaurant! Our table ordered the falafel, the ramen, the grilled avocado bowl and the spaghetti - everyone enjoyed their meal and would definitely return again! The iced coffee was also really good - I don’t usually like iced coffee but this one was delicious! Our servers were also fantastic and really made the night enjoyable - a rarity at most restaurants these days!

Absolutely loved my lunch here with family while visiting Kelowna. The blackberry sage margarita was beyond delicious. The chickpea fries that followed were crispy and delicious. Final act was the cauliflower tacos - showstopper!

Serious tasty food here. The veggie burger was full of flavour on a soft delicious bun. Side Caesar with broccoli and crispy chickpeas will be on repeat at home if I can figure out the dressing. Very nice people greet, seat and serve you. I want to go back and eat my way through the menu. Lemonades are great and the selection of very local wine, beer and cider noteworthy. 🙏💋

Went here the other day for supper with friends. Even though I am a carnivorous human. I so much enjoyed the vegan offering here. My soup was delicious and salad was enormous. I did not leave hungry. It was well spiced and every bite was super yummy. Cocktails were also well done. Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Cool outdoor space to eat at. Art work is interesting and is a fun space to be in. Recommend this place for everyone. You will survive a meatless meal evey once in a while. Trust me I know. Oh like to add..have desert it is worth it.

Have been coming to Frankie’s since Chef Brian opening a few years back. As an out of towner who travels to the Okanagan frequently for work, it’s always tough finding food that is healthy and nutritious. Without fail, I always come to Frankie’s for multiple meals when I’m in town. You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu - broccoli Caesar, mushroom pate and cauli wings are my go to. Their new menu includes a well balanced pad Thai - if you ever go in the winter; their laksa is unreal! Highly recommend Frankies to anyone coming to Kelowna.

First time at this vegan/vegetarian restaurant and it did not disappoint! We did make a reservation and were seated promptly. The hostess was friendly and the service was good! Loved the atmosphere with the high ceilings. Ordered the Poke Stack starter (the marinated aubergine was so good, and resembled the red tuna poke well), which had excellent plating! The Famous Pumpkin Ramen had a nice array of veg that the 'meat/protein' didn't feel too missed. The Chorizo Ranchero Bowl, despite having chili sauce, was not spicy. The Grilled Avocado Bowl, which advertised spicy pickled onions, was also not spicy (but this wasn't too much of a loss for our palates). The bowls were filling and had so many complimentary textures! Excellent service and food options, so will be returning!

Frankie We Salute You! was highly recommended to us for vegan food in Kelowna - it did not disappoint! Our group of 7 enjoyed all our drinks, appies and meals. And the staff were friendly and helpful. Highlights - vegan Caesar, Poke Stack, Chickpea Fries, Falafel Bowl, Pumpkin Ramen and BLT sandwiches. Everything was well done - great textures and amazing flavours. We were too full for dessert. Everything recommended and definitely going back!

Fantastic! It has a menu that is loaded with variety. The Broccoli Cesar salad is as delicious as it is nutritious and it was perfectly dressed! I had the curried cauliflower dish that was both spicy and perfectly balanced with rice and greens. The portions are generous. And more! Really friendly service too! I would not miss meat if I ate here every day :) #eatingfromtherainbow

We’re from out of town. The restaurant name is abbreviated so we had trouble finding the place at first but wow, the service was so friendly and prompt. We’re not vegetarian/vegan but we were blown away with the creativity and taste of every dish here. The poke was our absolute favourite! The lunch special was recommended by our server and was a great combo deal - it included two items + one lemonade (the lemonade we selected was the blueberry lychee flavour and it was aesthetically pleasing and very delicious). The Peking broccoli taco is on the saltier side. We’ll definitely return when we visit Kelowna again!

What a gem! It's a vegetarian/vegan restaurant serving a tasty and beautifully presented array of food. I had the lentil soup with a slice of sourdough and the vegan chipotle bowl and it was Alla amazing! Definitely will be back to try more of the tempting meals. Also, I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan but I loved the food!

Hard to locate but yummy dishes. We liked the dishes which are not trying to mimic standard fare without meat. The space is clean and airy.

I visited this restaurant 3 times during my 4 day visit to Kelowna. If that doesn't tell you how good it is then I don't know what will! So many great dishes to try. Everything was "wow" worthy. I brought some meat eaters there and they loved it too. The service was fast, and the atmosphere was cozy.

We loved the craft lemonades after a walk in the park on a hot day! The food is so flavourful! Try the smoked mushroom pate and the salads- they’re exquisite!

Amazing vegan food and great service! Very inventive in their interpretations of some classic dishes along with some very original dishes. They left us thinking about how they could have been created vegan! We went with 4 adults and 2 kids under 6 and the service was very kind and welcoming to our kids and everyone. Although having a kids menu and things for them, I wouldn't exactly call it kid friendly. The atmosphere of the place feels like a cafe, with plywood benches, and a boho chic aesthetic, but felt oddly juxtaposed with $20-$30 plates. Overall, it was a great dinner and amazing food and service. I'd definitely recommend the experience.

The best plant based food in the Okanagan hands down! I always gravitate towards the lunch specials so I can try different things. I’d definitely recommend making a reservation for dinner and on weekends as it can book up. Pictured is the carrot lox sandwich and feature soup (mushroom soup with dill). Portions are adequate as well and always good service.

Excellent quality veggie restaurant. Lots of options and a intriguing bar menu as well. Try the mushroom dishes, Tempe or sandwiches. All taste great and are not small plates either!

Got takeout and it was really good. If you are looking for a vegan restaurant, definitely don't miss this. Even if you are a meat eater, this won't make you miss meat. We had the Famous Pumpkin Raman (highly recommend it), the Spring Mushroom Bolognese (pretty good), Poke (flavourful), the Garden Leak Gyoza (the two sauces it comes with--one spicy and one sesame soy sauce--is quite good) , and the disco bar (really rich).

I can not say enough wonderful things about our dining experience. My boyfriend and I are quite new to plant based eating and this restaurant blew our minds. Everything from the drinks right through until dessert was incredible. (We even bought 6 burger patties to take home with us because they were so amazing). We can’t wait to come back and try more menu items! Our servers were very attentive, we never had an empty glass or dirty dish on our table for more than a moment and everyone was so friendly. We are SO happy with this restaurant:)
