Personally I think this is the best hotel in Tamale in terms of location, price, quality, and staff. Josephine, Marcus, and Bertie are an amazing family that made me feel like home for the 3 months I was there for. The rest of the family, Faith and Tikinami, are always working to make sure the place is spotless and you always have a good meal, a cold drink, or whatever you may need. I'm going to miss them while I am away, but looking forward to when I return later this year - I know where I'll be staying.

My stay in Little Afrika Lodge was deeply enjoyable, from the excellent food cooked promptly, to the warmth of Marcus and Josephine. Marcus is very keen on ensuring that you enjoy Tamale, and has many recommendations for what you can do once you are in town. It is approximately 20 minutes from the airport, and you can find transportation, not too far from the hotel. The best part is that there is a gym near the lodge, 5-minute walk!

Great value for money, friendly staff, clean rooms with AC. Easily get here with bolt/taxi from the center of town. Delicious breakfast and option to pay with card.

What a beautiful gem found in Tamale. The hospitality, breakfast and rooms are 5 star. When your travels take you to the North of Ghana, do yourself a favor and book your room at Little Afrika. It is just of the main road from the airport leading into town, so it is quiet but still close enough to access town and the airport with ease. The hosts and staff makes you feel at home and this will be the only place that I stay in the Tamale region. Thank you Little Afrika.

I liked it very much. The rice and fish is delicious. I've heard the TZ is amazing. The rooms are clean and the bathroom is well structured and clean. The compound is very pretty and the reception area is very homey. I liked it.

Serene environment, no disturbances, and the rooms are very neat. Their rates are very affordable, and I love their breakfast

Perfect place, best in Ghana im my opinion. Clean, friendly, good price,..., they helped us with everything. The owner was really nice, he invited us to food and drinks, such a lovely experience☺️

Very decent guesthouse located in Tamale, very small compound with no inside parking space, but wonderful services and room space, rooms are very need. Their meals are also well prepared and served on time

This is my second time staying at Little Afrika Lodge and this stay was just as pleasant as my first time. Great location, feels very homely and safe. Lastly, the staff and management are all courteous and go the extra mile to make your stay smooth. I’ve now found my new base in Tamale.

Perfect place, quiet and homely, totally relaxed with great staff, simple but spotlessly clean and will definitely appeal to European and US visitors. Good breakfast included (in nice and shady outside courtyard or in the dining room) and food available in the evening. Close to some of the best restaurants in Tamale. Mixed guests mainly NGO, business and Aid types and owners are on-site and wonderful. On my 4th visit and counting.

This is real value for money, it's a gem in Tamale. The rooms are affordable and comfy they have a heater ,air-conditioning and a fridge to for just 175gh. Also it's neat and quiet, the customer service was great too

Little Afrika is by far the best accomodation we have stayed in during our time in Ghana. Josephine, Marcus and the rest of the staff have done an amazing job creating a beautiful atmosphere, lovely clean rooms and a delicious breakfast at exceptionally reasonable prices. We couldn’t believe our luck, especially compared to other places in Tamale. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Little africa is a very quite and serene lodge. Rooms and neat and spacious. The have brilliant customer service. Tiki and Faith super hosts. I'll definitely recommend them.

It has a very nice environment with beautiful vegetation. The staff are very polite and for some funny reason they look alike. 😄. Rooms are very clean and rates are affordable. It is ideal place to go of you want a quiet space to focus and work.

The staff were extremely caring and nice. Rooms neatly cleaned all the time. This is a place I will recommend for everyone who wants to have a relaxing time in Tamale.

My husband, two kids and i stayed here during the new year, it is the perfect little place to stay either as a family or traveling alone, it’s cozy, clean and quiet. The staff are super nice and its not far from King David one of the best night life spots in tamale, I would totally stay there whenever i am in Tamale, my daughter keeps asking me when we will go back.
