Wooden Tamale is a perfect place to eat delicious Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisine. My personal experience at Wooden was always awesome. The staff is helpful, service is good, food is fresh and Tasty.

It is a nice location where you can also sit outside. There is plenty of Indian food but also a wide range of continental dishes. The food is pretty decent, but not outstanding. The drinks at the bar are good, the cocktails are excellent. The toilets were very clean. Overall a good location that is worth the money

Well as far as what I needed there is concerned I was absolutely satisfied, their services included. very satisfactory. And for those who haven't been there before, they have a bar, a very nice bar. They also have both open and enclosed tables, sitting places I mean. The environment is cool, Serene, quite and it feels safe... Yeah. Great food, good atmosphere, wonderful customer service. Prices are expensive but you're going to get some decent food. They have traditional Ghanaian, Indian, American Asian cuisine, a bar. Clean bathrooms.

Full disclosure: I'm comparing this restaurant to similar restaurants in the USA as this was considered one of the best in Tamale. I had the lentil soup. Not very flavorful & devoid of many lentils. The parantha bread which was supposed to have a mint flavor, had the mint but no flavor. If possible use fresh, not old mint next time. The felafel veggie burger however, was excellent but their rep was intact of not actually serving with coleslaw despite the menu.

After reading a few reviews I called to order pizza, very friendly service, both over the phone and in person. Pizza was however not good. Dough was way too flat, pizza was too greasy...I didn’t enjoy it.

A restaurant where you can find all kind if dishes, both foreign and local dish, they provide you the best service you need.

One of very few places in Tamale where you get a proper coffee and where you can sit down in quiet at a nice and cozy place for a good meal. Probably for this reason there were many foreigners when I visited.

Everything was salty. The jollof rice was definitely not Ghanaian jollof. It wasn’t even Nigerian or Senegalese jollof. I suspect the rice was cooked and then mixed with colour and soy sauce. As for the fried rice, it was soggy, oily and salty. The only delicious things were the mint lemonade, the fried Guinea fowl, grilled chicken and the tz and ayoyo soup if you look past the saltiness.

Drinks are very slow. Food is very good if you stick to pizza; Indian or Lebanese. Avoid the chicken club sandwich (it is actually chicken salad and they add cinnamon). Nice atmosphere.

Food is not bad at all

The place has deteriorated since the last time i was there. The food used to be great nit yesterday i was disappointed with what i was served. The salt was too much for me and all of the 4 other people i was there with. May be they need to change their furniture too.

Nice eatery for your continental dishes. However the smoking zone is too close to the non smoking area. Be careful if you are allergic to smoking. Especially if you don't your kids seeing people smoking Sasha

Just cozy

I came several times and it was always same... Very slow service, very expensive food which quality doesn't correspond to the prices (and even the description and pictures in the menu). I took sandwich for 48 cedis with french fries. French frieds are not home made, coleslaw was with ketchup, sandwich made from baguet instead of tortilla (as on the picture), and there was almost 1 kg of cheese and nothing else... Coffee is nothing special and definitely does not correspond to european standards. Not possible to get ice coffee or ice tea, cappuccino is 16 cedis...

Nice place to eat in family

The fettuccine Alfredo is amazing! The kids have a playground to stay occupied. There is a wait for food but it is entirely worth it. The fried chicken and rice is one of my favorites as well and they have the best pizza around.

The food was freshly cooked delicious and our waiter Fatma was fabulous. We had to wait a while for ghd food but it was worth the wait.

This place is open but feels cozy because of the beautiful setup and landscaping. I came here a few times with large and small groups. The staff was attentive, the restrooms were clean, and the food was delicious. The sitting area is outside but mosquitos weren't an issue when I was there.

We went for lunch at Wooden at our wedding. The manager helped us really well to set the menu, he was very friendly. It is a good place for all your local and continental dishes. They served us a lovely lunch and we enjoyed the garden.

Placed an order for food and my order was forgotten. No one seemed to be bothered about it and there was no apology as well. Had to eventually leave without the food.

It's really frustrating to order food for delivery and not recieve my complete order. I was supposed to get coleslaw with my 2 orders of veggie burgers. I also asked for side of green pepper sauce. I literally mentioned all items that should come with my food, and still when it was delivered, there was no coleslaw and no pepper sauce. How does something like this get rectified??

Wooden use to be a great place. Aside the salt, Just look at the oil? Avoiding carbohydrates and I'm met with a bath of oil for the second time this year alone.

Ordered a Wooden Mega, it was supposed to be this huge burger lol well at least the bun was big I won't complain because burgers are not their thing, I totally get it. Half way through the meal I realized I didn't have everything that came with the meal .....let's just say that the missing coleslaw saved them from only getting 1 or 2 stars .... I don't think I'll return for the hummus:(

Well renown and several times award winner restaurant in the Tamale Metropolis easily accessible on the Tamale Bolga Highway, it offers in a convivial environment with a green well designed garden which I like the most, two bars with standing chairs, well arranged seats and tables, spacious parking outside and within. You can have have the feeling of a cool jazz relaxing and enjoyable music, Ghanaian, African, Indian, Chinese dishes, fast food and quick bites with an excellent staff who will take a good care of all your orders and wishes. It is a must visit restaurant with family, friends or colleagues anytime you visit Tamale

I drunk only coffee but the cappuccino was excellent.

Not the first time I have been there. Still good standard food is good and well presented. Waitresses very kind and helpful. Best stop before airport 🙂

Very nice and clean place for eating

The wings ordered, Baba Ganush and Alfredo's paste, first brought Baba Ganush quietly banks, which is impossible to eat, Alfredo paste is also not delicious, raw canned mushrooms and a little chicken, sauce is made of Waters and flour, cream there. Lovely location, cozy and clean, friendly staff even though they seemed a bit stressed with many customers and big groups being there. Their menu is great, even though the salads and hummus could have been more seasoned.

Food took longer than expected but it was good. Love the use of recycling, reusing and upscaling of waste around us in the decor of the spaces.

Beautiful place, tastefully furnished. Definitely not a place to order local food as the TZ and Ayoyo taste very very different. Perhaps because the place is owned by Asians. They have a mixed staff of polite and not so polite. I will visit again for the ambiance
