Is a place of Peace unity and harmony. They do no discrimination no anyone as who you are and where you come from. they also except strangers no matter the place you come from.

A very powerful skin to occupy in Dagbon. Pure culture is exhibited here during festivals and other organized traditional activities. It's my home but for a fact, we need to put up a more befitting and deserving palace to suit the changing times.. I still wish for a more deserving palace to be constructed.

A very nice traditional round houses. But I wasn't happy about the environment, a refuge dump just behind the palace. A chief is a respectable personality in our society and therefore his palace should stand out.

Sagnarigu palace is located in northern region of Ghana-Tamale. A peaceful and a very neat palace where the current Sagnari Naa Yakubu Abdulai, a former Ghana's ambassador to Senegal, a revered chief who is the custodian of the stool lands in this area hosts other traditional leaders, political leaders and dignitaries in the Sagnarigu palace. A place to visit during traditional festivities like Damba festival, fire festival etc. The closest is the fire festival to be celebrated in August 2022.

Was well received at the Palace by the Chief. It was an unexpected reception by the Chief and a cross section of his elders. He exhibited such a cool and calm demeanour and an appreciable depth of the history and culture of the north in particular and Ghana as whole. I only forgot to take pictures in around the Palace. I'm not sure if that would have been allowed. It was lovely reception.
