Beautiful place, nice spacious rooms. It probably cracks the top 10 hotels in Tamale. However, a lot of improvement is needed in service delivery. Staff response time is poor, inadequate toiletries, worn out towels and sheets. The 3 rating was to be for the meals and good internet access; but the meal diversity glamour and WiFi lasted for the first night only. Perhaps I'm being too generous. Well, if you're thinking of saying here; you'd better get water of your own as it is the gold in this hot and dry environment and water is not always served during meals.

Mariam Hotel is a nice place. The rooms are spacious and well serviced. It has almost everything one will need on a trip from lavatory to deal care, to beverages in your room. The attendants are nicely dressed and courteous. The in-house restaurant has a broad menu with exquisite service and delicious taste. The chef must be quiet experienced. I love their guinea fowl grill. Breakfast here is mainly buffet 🙂. Security here is also good right from the car park to the rooms. My only issue, the hotel is old and needs a minor face lift to get it back to its luxurious status. The facility seems to be a "once upon a time" luxury destination but currently looking old. The good news is I've seen a new structure being put up near by, a new Mariam Hotel with ultra modern look and facility is bear completion.

One of the most beautiful serene hotels up north. It's also situated right in Tamale town but in a very strategic area making it easy to assess and explore Tamale from different roads.

I didn't lodge here but visited only for meals. They have one of the best palava sauce with yam. They're generous with the portion and can feed 2 people. The environment is equally serene.

Mariam hotel has lost some of its previous shine. The facilities in the rooms are getting rundown. The fridges need to be looked at again. Their cuisine is great though. Hope the new block will bring back the previous shine

Nice Hotel located in a quiet residential place and a beautiful natural environment of a man made forest, Mariam Hotel offers a restaurant, conference centre with recent awesome extension that adds to an already very good hospitality asset elegant suites that I had the opportunity to visit a friend there just yesterday. It is a must go place to sleep or enjoy African, Ghanaian, European, Indian or Chinese dishes or have a conference anytime you are in Tamale. Please go there.

The sheets and the towel are clean. Good WiFi, great food and the customer service is not bad. However. Some of the bathrooms lack the needed privacy as you can be viewed from outside from chest level and the bathroom window curtains are dirty.

The hotel is probably one of the best in Tamale, but nothing special. The staff was rather unmotivated and bored. The rooms are spacious, but the smell is strong. The furnishings are also run-down.
