This is a good and affordable place to stay or pass your night. From unconfirmed source, that some GNAT teachers who are card bearing members are denied space because they have discount on their hostel rent.

GNAT HOSTEL TAMALE, is a serene environment and conducive to stay. But it's getting more expensive by the day for non- GNAT users

The place was well kept but there was no blanket or comforter and night was cool so I was cool through out the night

Very affordable for the average person.But not for luxury.

The rooms are self contained with neat washroom, fridge, television and also a small balcony for fresh air or outside view. It still raining so the whole atmosphere is cool unlike the sunshine and dryness mostly associated with the northern part of Ghana. In all the place is very comfortable.

If your only consideration is price then it's ok cuz it's very affordable. Not too comfortable rooms. Needs some improvement.

I had an experience with the executive rooms. The bed is okay, fan too great. Their showers aren't functional at all, you have to use a bucket and pail to bath. Unfortunately for me the bulb was defective, barely came on when I switched it on. Um they also have flat screen TVs, so you can't be bored. I can't say anything about the regular rooms.

They have a big hall with enough parking space. Waec Hall is bigger though with a much bigger space for programes up to 2500 people

Not a place for fun, luxury or anything cozy. WCs are not functioning in some rooms, rooms were well swept but stuffy and smelly. The caretakers quote different rates at different times for same room and fails to take record when you are not a teachers. Should always come as last option if you are looking for a place to lodge in Tamale

This place needs serious change when it comes to their beds and sofas. Due to the weather in Tamale they really need to fix air-conditions in their rooms. The bathrooms and toilets need serious overhauling. When it comes to proper cleaning of the rooms the cleaners are very lazy and one has to complain sevreally to get their bed sheets changed other than that you will sleep on one bed sheet for more than a week.
