If you are a history nerd and love ancient tales then this is a place for you. It's story is extremely interesting and ties into that of the Larabanga Mosque. It is a little sad that they do not have any funding from the government so remember to give them some support (money) after they tell you the history. It helps them maintain the place and support themselves as well. It is basically a huge slab of rock supported by a short clay stand so if you looking to see amazing colours or structures this isn't the place for you. Great storytelling from the custodians.

You meet locals at the top of the hill who will lead you to the mystic stone. It is believed to have good fortune abilities. It is believed that when you pray with faith, your prayers come true. It’s nice to give the locals a tip when leaving.

We traveled from Kumasi to see and learn about the mystic stone in Larabanga. Hmmmm what a history No entrance fee, you just have to put any amount on the stone and pray. Is not by force though Search Efyakimora on Youtube to watch the video. Thanks love ❀️

There isn't much to see at this place. But the folklore around the mystic stone is interesting, and it is good to visit the area as the fees charged by the local tourism office help support the small community of Larabanga

It's cool. Need more attention. I had an opportunity to listen to the tour guide. History should be documented. Nice harmattan wind blowing. 2023 January

Larabanga is located in the Savannah region of Ghana. The stone which I'd in a form of mushroom is believed to be in existence before the later dwellers of the town. Anytime this stone was taken away from its original place to a different place, it reappears. It happened severally which made the dwellers fed up of always relocating it. Attempts were even made to relocate it and construct a straight road for the people but all failed so the road was later constructed in an S form which make people call the road Larabanga SS. It is believed that this stone carries a lot of mystical powers in it among which are the ability to make barren women pregnant and answer all prayers. But is advised to put something small on it either before or after prayer. #TourGhana #Savannah Region

This mystic stone is closely linked to the history of the famous Larabanga mosque. It is about 500m from the mosque. Believed to posses mystic abilities you may find visitors from regular tourists to locals coming to seek some luck or miracle from the stone. If you are visiting this Mystic stone you may as well visit the mosque and the Mole game reserve that are in very close proximity. You will be required to pay an entrance fee at this site.
