世界遺産に登録されたのは何年も前ですが、2022年にようやく初めて訪れました。
2021年に放映された大河ドラマの渋沢栄一の話もあって、興味を持って見学をしたのですが…。
貴重な資料や当時の写真に機械などあっても、展示の仕方が見学している人に残念ながら分からせようとしていない気がします。順路どおりに見て行くと、資料の順番が後ろからになるところもありました。
そして案内などする訳でもなく年配の方や制服を来た女性の方など、ひとりでも用が足りる場所に2人いたり、ガイドや見学のアドバイスをしてくれないなら、そこにいる意味はないと感じました。
製糸場の機械もどのように使われていたか、案内文だけではなく一部再現などして見やすくして欲しいです。歴史のあるものが、とても勿体無いと思います。
そう思わせるのは、入場料が1,000円する事が大きいかと。保存維持など必要経費も分かりますが、入場料に見合った展示をもう少し工夫していただきたいです。
今のままの見せ方だと、リピート客はない感じはします。世界遺産を広めてほしく改善を期待します。
